Nick Salamone: De Leo’s is the premier auto body shop in Cambridge, situated right next to the original car talk garage. Leo and Denise were highly accommodating, and their price for fixing my 1991 VW bus was entirely reasonable.The quality of work performed was superb, especially for a specialty job of that vintage.Would highly recommend supporting a local, family owned business run by two of the most respectful folks I ever have met in Cambridge.

Pierce Liefeld: Leo and his crew are magicians. I've seen them more than my fair share of times, from cars and bikes hitting our car to a tree crashing through the moonroof and destroying the canopy and it's mechanical housing. Their paint and body work is impeccable, they're always quicker than you'd think, and Denise who runs the front office is a true professional. I only hope I don't see them again!

Carrie Chiasson: I had a pretty terrible experience with this place. They had come recommended for doing good work, but I had a very different experience. I needed body work done on my Subaru and we planned it for when I wouldn't need my car for a week. I dropped it off on a Friday afternoon and it was supposed to be done before the next Friday. I hadn't heard anything so when I reached out Monday (after it was supposed to be done) I was given the run around about when it would be finished. I didn't get my car back until Thursday end of day (6 days after it was supposed to be done). At pickup, no one showed me the work they had done, the person handed me my keys and disappeared. I had to go back inside to complain as the work was done poorly. There was discoloration on the door and the "new" part they put on was damaged. I had to wait for them to clean the spots and had to go back yet again to put on the piece of the siding that was damaged.I paid in cash because they offered me a discount. They then went to my insurance company and told them it was $100 more than what I saw on my receipt.Then they just called me and said I still had a balance (which was then followed up with an email saying never mind. I wasn't supposed to get that call).I'd recommend getting your body work done elsewhere unless you don't really need your car back in good shape or when you expect it.

Now she's dead" This is what Mike says to me when I tried to ask (with reasonable surprise and concern in my voice) why they were keeping my car for 3 weeks for a cosmetic repair. Then they charged me $50 to get my car back so I can go to ANY OTHER body shop where they order the part and have me bring the car in when it comes in. If you like death threats and shake downs, this is the place for you, You also gotta wonder why they wanted to hang on to my car for three weeks. If they have that much space, I'm surprised they even bother doing body work, when they could probably make the same charging for parking.

I was the unfortunate victim of a rear ending which required my bumper be replaced, a fix for my trunk door had to be done, and some undercarriage work had to be done on my 2015 Honda CRV. The insurance company sent me to Hi Tech and they were professional, kind and courteous from the get go. All of the work was completed and meticulously so, and when I picked up the vehicle you would have sworn it was brand new. The body work was outstanding and the car drove like I had driven off the sales lot the first time ever. It looked like they had even detailed the interior of the car as well. I had the back bumper replaced by another shop years ago and it never really fit right but I can tell they took the time to make sure it was put on right. I have never left a bad review in my life and I’ve got to say that The people at high-tech auto do not do a great job with it comes to fixing a persons car. Going to an accident in October my entire door was crashed on the driver side and passenger side when did them to get it fixed because my insurance company said they were the “Best” which I believedBut in short when I first got my vehicle back which is about a month later the driver side door rattled on every little bum while driving And I noticed that they were paint chips on the supposedly new doors not to mention scratches and my interior lining and leather panels had dirty greasy hand marks everywhere they did not clean.Next I brought the car in and told him the problems they said OK it’s fine we’re going to fix it it’s on us and sure enough I come back a week later and they said they can’t find anything wrong with the door they cleaned a little bit of the marks on my door and ceiling and did not fix the paint chip or the scratches that were on the New front door. Also they blame me for the tear in my leather stitching on the door panel which I know was not there because I had photo proof.After I tried calling them again because the door was rattling even worse than it was before and somehow the person who checked it could not hear it and literally did nothing to fix my car that was supposed to be fixed so now I am stuck with a window that does not open and close the door that rattles . Emily: I went to Hi-Tech Auto Body after a tree had fallen on my car, and was in fairly rough shape. I was nothing short of impressed by every single employee, mechanic, and interaction I had. The staff not only did an amazing and thorough job with my car, and left it looking immaculate (a hard task when my car looked like a bear had mauled it), but they advocated for me where my car insurance & coverage costs were concerned, were amazing at keeping lines of communication open, and were always always always pleasant. due to supply issues, it took a while - longer than anticipated for the parts to arrive for my car. however, this would have been the case anywhere i went, and yet, Hi-Tech autobody did not ever use that statement in our conversations when they had every right to. instead, they were apologetic, attempted to gain permission from my car insurance to get other options covered, and fought to get my rental car paid for. i can not say enough good about the people & the work done here. ive been to several body shops in the area, and this one is by far the best. quality & customer service.Services:Auto body trim repair,Auto windshield repair

Jaswinder Singh: Well, people seems to be nice but, it doesn't looks like they know what they are doing. I wanted to install roof rails on my toyota highlander and they said it will cost $350 parts cost + 1 hr labor cost. I said okay, and they ordered it. But when i got there to install them then i find out they ordered cross bars not the roof rails. And shop owner said no, these are the roof rails! He looked at my highlander before he ordered the parts and i showed him exactly what i need. But, he kept insisting me by saying these are the roof rails and he tried to install these cross bars without roof rails, very nice! Moreover, i just find out even these cross bars cost $98 and he was saying $350. I mean, first of all he did not know what to order and on top of that he wanted to charge me more than 3x than what the part cost was!

They said yes and charged very little — more than a fair price. The mechanic even dropped what he was doing when I arrived, to work on my car while I waited. I thought that was very generous of them. Minjoon Lee: English review is included. 여기 한국인이 하는 정비소입니다.무작정 욕하지 않고 상황을 설명드릴께요. 왜 여기에 차를 맡기면 안되는지.제차는 2013 benz glk350입니다.메뉴얼에 엔진오일 용량은 6.5리터로 되어 있습니다.저는 한국에서 차에 관심도 많고 튜닝도 많이 했기 때문에 기본적인 지식을 갖고 있습니다.엔진오일은 이 가게 아들이 갈았습니다. 자격증이 있는지는 모르겠네요.몇 리터 넣냐고 물어보니 7리터 넣는다고 하더군요. 2012년 이전 모델은 7리터 였습니다.그래서 내가 잘못 알았나 싶기도 해서 기다렸죠. 보통 엔진오일 체크는 오일 넣고 시동걸고 몇분 뒤에 합니다. 그래야 오일이 골고루 돌아서 평소 주행때와 비슷한 상황을 만들어 주기 때문이죠.시동걸고 사모님이 와서 잠깐 얘기하는데 엔진오일 채워진양을 보여주지도 않고 본넷을 닫고 불안한 표정으로 저를 쳐다보더군요. 이건 어디까지나 개인적인 의견입니다. 그리고 딱 맞다고 하더군요.그래서 집에 와서 엔진오일양을 체크를 했습니다. max보다 훨씬 위에 있더군요.하기사 6.5L짜리인데 보통 오일교환하면서 필터까지 바꾸면 6L정도 없어집니다. 엔진을 분해하면 6.5 L는 넣는게 엔진오일가는 기초입니다. 6리터 넣을 것을 7리터를 넣었으니 넘치죠. 엔진오일이 넘치면 차가 굼떠지고 엔비가 안좋아질뿐만아니라 실린더 내부에 들어가서 가솔린과 같이 탑니다. 연료로 만들어지지 않은 organic compound이기 때문에 완전연소를 못하고 카본을 남기죠. 그래서 불안해서 2일뒤인 오늘 찾아갔습니다. 물론 엔진오일 빼는것은 참 귀찮은 일이지만 사장님이 그냥 타라도 아니고 원래 엔진오일은 max까지 채운다 그래서 제가 전 한국에서 이런거 하나도 못봤다 저도 운전경력 13년이다 하니깐 자기는 자동차 정비 40년이라더군요. 그러니깐 그냥 타라더군요. 그래서 미국 benz딜러샵에 전화해보니 min과 max의 중간까지 채우되 평소에 운전을 터프하게 하면 max에 가깝게 중간보다 위에 채우라더군요. 정비 40년 경력인정합니다. 경력만 많다고 다 잘하는 것은 아니죠. 엔진오일이 max보다 넘었는데 2일타니깐 max선까지 내려오더군요. 날라갔단 얘기죠. 귀찮아서 빼주기 싫었으면 나쁜놈이지만 거짓말을 하니 더 나쁜놈이고 거짓말이 아니라 실제로 그렇게 알고 있었으면 정비소하시면 안되겠네요.보스턴에 한국인정비소가 가까운곳에 하나뿐이여서 믿고 갔는데 큰 실망 안고 갑니다.돈을 더 주더라고 사람들이 왜 메이커딜러샵을 가는지 알겠네요.전 여기 완전 비추입니다.The boss and employee are not professional.They can't even change engine oil well.My car had too much amount of oil, so I visited again.but they said that the amount of engine oil should be maximum to protect engine.yes, I partially agree that opinion. but they provided oil in my car more than maxium.and the boss is so impolite and rude becuase maybe I am much younger than him and korean.

Jim Knizer: 5th time stopping in - again No problems, minimal wait, was able to find parking not in the bike lane and I was next in line for inspection. You either watch the fish (huge fishtank in the waiting room) or the mechanics fixing your car through the big glass windows. There's a TV which had some game show on when I stopped in. Cash or card for payment. Straightforward, clean. I'll be back.

Hannah Spencer: I dropped by CLM to get a quote to replace my passenger side mirror, and they were great! I was helped by Nelson and he gave me a quote within 15 min after calling parts dealers to get me the best price. He was able to take my car a couple days later after painting the part and got everything fixed in about 20 min. The whole process only took about 4 business days, and likely would’ve been done faster if I had made up my mind and scheduled the repair quicker. As a young female driver, I get intimidated by body shops and worry about being treated fairly, but this shop surpassed my expectations by far. Ted is so very kind, trustworthy, communicative, punctual and he definitely knows his stuff. He is very honest and never tries to upsell nor does he try to force additional services down your throat. Pricing is incredibly reasonable and they always get the job done well within the time frame that he tells you. One thing I really appreciate about Ted is that he's always willing to explain what the issue was, how it was fixed, and even goes out of his way to show me the parts he's fixed/replaced to so I can have a visual and learn a bit more about my car. If you want be sure to receive great service at low prices from a reliable team, you have found your place. The oldest review on google for Foreign Auto Center is 8 years old, and until today almost exclusively 5 start reviews, no 1 or 2 star reviews. That is quite impressive.

Not available that evening, so we left the car. Following day (Tues.), they informed us it would take an extra day (until Wed.) to get our desired tires. But, at 7:30pm Tuesday, we got a call that the car was ready! It always feels good to get the car back a full day sooner than promised. I heard back from Naeem first thing on Monday morning, they already had my car up on the lift and confirmed for me it was indeed the calipers on the front that were the issue. There were other things that they spotted and recommended taking care of. Naeem explained everything, sent me photos of what he was seeing and was very communicative all day as the repairs were happening. I could have picked the car up the same day, but had to wait until Tuesday. Nicole Costa: This past week I brought my car to Allston Collision after it was hit by a drunk driver and needed repair. Paul immediately was welcoming, introducing me to himself and his whole team. He also helped calm me down as I have never had a car that was in an accident before, and naturally was near panicking. Although my car was eventually deemed to be totaled, I still am so happy I came here. Paul and his team were so friendly and made me feel like a close friend/family right from the start. Paul helped me with the insurance paperwork and coached me on how to ensure I’m getting the most money for my vehicle. He made folders for me to take home and made copies of all necessary paperwork for both him and myself. He even mailed out paperwork for me as well! Paul also worked closely with the insurance company, and was very knowledgeable throughout the whole process. I am so thankful to have worked with this company and will definitely be bringing my future car here for any and all repairs!!
Alexander Cheung: If you’re reading reviews for a auto body shop, you’re clearly not doing it for fun. You’re looking for someone that’s trustworthy, does a great job, and gets it done on time. Allston Collision Center checks off those big three pieces and then some.After getting dinged by someone, I went to ACC honestly just not wanting to deal with the process. Abel and Paul read my mind instantly and assured me they would handle everything and that they did. I really didn’t have to speak to the insurance claims agent, and after dropping the car off I didn’t have to check in with them either. They completed repairs well before their quoted time (week/s before) and made my car looking even better than before the accident.And as an added note, they’re super friendly to work with as well. While its not necessary, their demeanor made dealing with an accidental that much less painful.I fully recommend them and any issues I need fixing in the future will go straight to their services.
Kevin Li: Brought my car here for a front bumper/fender repair. ASC did a good job. They put on new bumper, fender, and light, and the car looks great. The only drawback is the waiting time. The process is sluggish and it took two and a half months for the service. Paul initially asked me to leave a deposit before inspecting my car. I agreed, but later they found additional damage and have to order more parts. They also postponed the completion date couple times for various reasons according to them: manufacturer shipped parts too slow/shipped the wrong parts, there wasn’t enough space to place my car, they were short of mechanics, etc. This disrupted my schedule as I couldn't have my car back on time. I must give kudos to Allston collision center especially Paul the manager. I went in for a rear bumper replacement, came back with my car cleaned and shinny (even my cup holders).
