He is very hurt. Not a good place for people of color although run by people of color.

Isaías was extremely professional, friendly and welcoming. He was also very flexible and able to squeeze me in earlier than my scheduled appointment. She started to use the scissors on my dry hair and at the beginning I was shocked about the process but decided to let her experiment with my hair and the result was fantastic!! The dry hair represents the final natural shape that your hair will get and you can tell where the density needs to be adjusted. After applying her magic on my dry hair, she washed it and then continued with a more tradicional cut. I am positive with the experience and my cut and I highly recommend Ysabella and Bellísima!!

Laura Bacallao: The customer service was so bad I really just couldn't waste my time with the salon any more. Here is a list of the rudeness I experienced despite the fact that I am a person who always tips more than 20% and was a regular customer. Some things I experienced.1. Giving my appointment away TWICE. I walked 5 minutes before my appointment ( always showed up a little early) to see that she was just giving a chair to someone. I'm thinking, "This is a really close time to my appointment to just start a haircut." The hair dresser, who also owns the place, said," Oh, it will be 5 minutes!" I waited an hour and 30 minutes for my appointment continually being promised just "10 minutes more; can you wait just 5 minutes?" I ended up missing a dinner with my friend the night who was leaving Boston the next day. It was awful and the owner did this again to me. It was SO rude.2. Never speaking to me when she cut my hair, but made it a point to talk to everyone else while she cut it, and would give me short responses if I tried to start a conversation.3. When I went in for a wax. She double dipped the waxing stick into the wax even when I confirmed on the phone that she wouldn't do that (just to confirm sanitary measures before I made and appointment) . Talk about gross and unsanitary. Who else did she just wax dipping the same stick in the wax over and over in one appointment?4. Just in general starting appointments late and rude behavior.5. Not listening to how I wanted my hair. The first few hair cuts were great. Then I asked for bangs. I didn't like them. Bangs weren't my thing - not the owner/hairdresser's fault. But, the next two times I went in, I said," I've finally grown out my bangs so can you just angle them and do a transition cut." The owner cut my bang straight across. So, I grew them out again thinking she made a mistake by accident. Came in again, said the same thing, and she again, cut short bags straight across. That's when I had it. I was only still coming in for good haircuts, and she wasn't doing even that any more.Honestly, I don't know what the owner's problem was. I always came on time, regularly bought products from the salon (shampoo, hair spray, oil), tipped over 20%. I will just never go there. There are other places that will give you a good haircut that won't treat you like this. It really was a waste of time going there even thought it was basically next door and could have been so convenient. Now I go far for may haircuts, and it's probably the same amount of time I spent waiting for these jokers at this salon.Service:Hairstyling

Sehr Yaqoob: I have been to this salon 3 times in total. The first time I came the hairstylist was great he was the one who checked me in and gave me a haircut and styled my hair beautifully. The second time I cancelled my appointment. But they charged me a no show fee without informing me I had to call them to let them know they never refunded the full amount. I still came the third time as I really like the stylist, I was booked for A 45 min appointment with no confirmation over text. The appointment included a haircut an blow out. I was 15 mins late, and they still cut my hair I had mentioned on the phone that I would like to get them styled which is usually and 1 hour appointment but I was still booked for a shorter slot. When I mentioned this to them they said we don’t want to speak about this and didn’t care that my hair was not finished. They stylist was nice and apologized but the management was rude and unkind. L Korp: Theresa spent an hour and 15 mins for gel removal (removing gel I put on in this salon) to call my nails “done” when they looked like this. When I complained she said that she’s new and that’s how they “told her to do it”. Management said they could not do better and that I could go across the street if I didn’t like them. Because it took an hour 15 to remove the gel, they said they couldn’t do the manicure because it was too late. I’ve been coming here for years, but with the changes in staff, I’ll never be back again. My nails are now coming apart from the middle because they buffed them for over an hour to remove the manicure. I was told I could not put anything on my nails for weeks so they can recover.

Arthur Baisangurov: Ok, mr. Alexander, my haircut master hurt my mole on the neck back and was keeping working like nothing happen until I touched it and found blood on my finger. The very first thing in your job - do not hurt and make bleeding. I was shocked and asked for disinfection only after few minutes, but that should be done immediately by the master. At the end he told me I can have 50% discount… the worst haircut experience I ever had, do not recommend that place.

I have never been so thrilled with my hair cuts and color. The way she frames my face so my curls look fresh is really impressive. I'll follow her anywhere!!Also, love her new location. The salon is trendy and tidy and easy to get to. The associate at reception was kind and welcoming when I walked in and checked out. The other stylists were very nice and you can tell they enjoy their work environment. Marissa Smit: I've been getting my hair cut here for years by the amazing Jesse, but decided for my engagement photo shoot to try the make-up service. Normally I don't wear a lot of make up and this was my first time having it done professionally, but Kymorha asked all the right questions to help me explain what I wanted. She put me at ease right away and made the whole experience so fun! Each step of the way she checked in with me to make sure I was happy with the look, and everything was spot on, from the color choice to adding just the right amount of glam details. The final result looked stunning and I'm so impressed by Kymorha's talents! I highly recommend her and you can go with confidence knowing you'll get the right look for your special occasion! I also added on some light hairstyling at the end for beachy waves, and could not be happier with the whole experience!

ARUSHA ACHARYYA: This is my second time going back to Pyara for a haircut. I don't go for anything fancy, but just a layered cut. I loved my stylist Jackie, highly recommended. She listens to what I want, takes a lot of care in her work and very friendly. Sure, the salon may be on a little expensive side but you can have a wide range of stylists from different price ranges to chose from.

Helen Lindsay: I recently got my haircut here for the first time. It was a good experience, I liked that I could book online. They have a variety of levels of stylist with different price ranges which is great! I went for a simple cut and they did a nice job. I also bought a shampoo the stylist recommended and it all cost less than $100 before tip. I appreciate that they are also trying to be more sustainable, would love to see some items in the salon that have plastic free packaging or refill options that would really set them apart. Overall I really liked it and would go back for another haircut or maybe try another service. They do book up a while in advance so make sure to book at least a week before you want to go!

sarmin s: Yesterday I called to book a time for haircut. I have been told(I didn’t asked) haircut will cost $145. My hair is short. I am a nurse and I am working with very sick patients including Covid patients and I never got paid $145 per hour considering my work difficulty. The price is not fair no matter how good and professional you are and if people earn their money easier than me and are willing to pay this amount good for them 😁 enjoy your expensive hair cut.

Trixie Bowden: I have been coming here for years but will no longer be returning. Highly unprofessional. Had a haircut booked for Friday and gave them a call to let them know I was running 10 minutes late due to traffic from the impending snowstorm. I asked if it was okay that I was 10 minutes late and was told yes of course we have a 10 minute grace period and that they would inform the front desk. Upon my arrival I was told that they wouldn't be able to take me because I had been scheduled between two color appointments and the stylist no longer had time. Of course being late was my bad but #1 why tell guests that you have a 10 min grace period, #2 I should have just been told to reschedule because I wasted over an hour of my time trying to get there and back #3 I didn't book myself between two color appointments the salon did. Furthermore when they rescheduled me they did not offer to reschedule me with the same stylist I had originally booked with, and AFTER booking me I was told that I would be seeing someone at the same level so "the price would remain the same".... I would hope so.... Come Sunday I receive a voicemail from the salon telling me they were not able to open due to the storm from the day before which was fine and understandable however at the end of the voicemail the receptionist leaving the message says "who the hell's phone number is this"... the unprofessionalism is next level. I have the voicemail saved. Not to mention when I have been the last couple times the salon looked unkept and dirty like no one even cares enough to sweep. I kept returning because of the convenience of the location in proximity to my house but even that can't make up for the eh decent haircut and lack of professionalism. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND YOUR TIME AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.Service:Haircut

Diana Baez: Went to have a gel manicure and for the prices there the treatment was awful! I am not expecting a red carpet or champagne or caviar but little chat in trends, and/or colors or ideas is always welcome. This lady was rushing me from the beginning, got mad when I decided I wanted my nails filed a little more, showed her a picture of what I would like and she said there was not time for it! I wasn’t asking for complicated art, I asked for two nails to be painted different! No extra glam or sparkles or complicated patterns, just two nails (4 nails total) painted different! Her attitude was terrible! She called me “undecided” which I was but instead of helping me to make up my mind (like a nail technician normally does) she just got upset and everything when down hill from there! She rushed me out of there because she had another appointment, when I left, there was nobody waiting around! Conclusion, terrible customer service, extremely expensive ($65 + tip, yes, I gave her a tip!). I was extremely polite throughout the entire ordeal, I said I’m sorry when I changed my mind about the shape of my nails and I didn’t argued when she said painting 4 nails different color was going to make her extra late for her next appointment, she did paint the nails different out of… not sure why but apparently she had the time to do it. This was my first and last time there, never again!! I don’t recommend this place; expensive and terrible service!Service:Manicure

I was very clear that I was trying to grow my hair out, and that I only wanted her to skim the edges (a term that every stylist should be familiar with). She ended up taking half an inch off, and ended the haircut by saying she took off more than I wanted. As in she knew she wasn't following my instructions and didn't bother consulting me on that. To top things off, she wasn't even friendly during the cut.I honestly don't know how you stay in business when you refuse to follow very simple and clear directions.
