Sheraton Commander Hotel: what do users think?
Louis Nguyen: Within walking distance of Harvard Yard. Nice hotel. Only quibble is low flow shower.
Catherine Liang: Terrible experience. All the other staff were extremely rude. What a terribel hotel!Rooms: 1/5|Service: 1/5|Location: 1/5 …More
Blakesley: Hotel is nice but the bed in room 601 shakes when the bus or a truck goes by. At first I thought it was an earthquake. Avoid 601 if you like to sleep.
Nick Roma: Convenient location next to Harvard Metro, quiet and clean area. Rooms were excellent, staff was friendly.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Eric Kim: Great stay staff and location!
Susan Holliday: I’ve stayed here several times. Very nice staff and quiet, calm atmosphere. Good value for this area, great location and the restaurant / bar is excellent. Rooms and especially bathrooms are rather small but well appointedRooms: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
The Catt: Overall a nice hotel convenient to Cambridge and Harvard. The rooms are a bit dark and small, however. Additionally the Internet access is extremely slow.Updated:. Water temperature takes a long time to get hot water. Water pressure is also a bit low.Updated Dec 2022: The lounge is still closed, you will get food certificates for the onsite restaurant instead.Updated March 2023: Internet was recently upgraded and is a little bit faster.
G.A. d: Super rude front desk staff during the day...always too busy on their phones or hiding to greet anyone...only smiles come from maintenance staff...very overpriced...Rooms: 5/5|Service: 1/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Jason Robinson: Nice rooms and location, but service leaves a lot wanting. Wifi was poor and sporadic, and the restaurant staff refused to heat up our leftovers from dinner the day before without rationale. Additionally, as a safety concern, housekeeping entered our room unannounced before our scheduled checkout time.Rooms: 4/5|Service: 2/5|Location: 4/5Hotel highlights Quiet …More
Cesar Palma: Recently renovated and centrally located I enjoyed both my well appointed room and my stay. Friendly staff. Nice decor. The only drawback was a surprisingly tiny elevator (maximum capacity 2 people with luggage). Not sure what that space constraint is about especially after their recent remodeling.

Hyatt Regency Boston / Cambridge: what do users think?
Ramdas Pisharody: I stayed here for a week for business meetings and a conference. The rooms were comfortable, clean and well maintained with a beautiful view of the river ( my colleagues who didn’t have the river view were less impressed). The fitness room was newly built and excellent. The one let down was the restaurant which has a limited offering, no buffet and the young , inexperienced staff often got the orders mixed up.
Jake Ramirez: I went from a 2-star hotel to what I thought was a 4-star hotel on my last stay in the Boston area with the wife. Couldn't have been more wrong in terms of how the rooms compared. I read another review that said the hotel looked dated, and it did. The silicone on my shower head and shower handle were coming off, the carpet was torn entering the bathroom, our mirror was chipped, the room was smaller than the 2-star room, no microwave. It left a lot to be desired given the "4-star" status. The location wasn't horrible as we did use the shuttle service to the drop-off places they had, and the staff was very friendly. It was a quiet hotel, which was perfect given that we were only there for one night prior to heading home.
Si vas a Cambridge o a Boston, busca otro lugar ...Aquí estás LEJOS DE TODO.
Yuefan Wang: Wonderful place and service. The director Marisa helped us to set up my proposal decorations at the hotel and give us a significant support. It will be a unforgettable moment in our life. I highly recommend stay at this place not only for accommodation but also for all kinds of activities.
Christopher Brown: A truly amazing hotel right on the Charles river.Probably one of the best kept secrets in Boston is Is actually across the river in Cambridge.2 bridges with an easy distance bring you right over into Boston.Rooms are spacious beds are amazing.City bike rentals nearby make transportation very easy. With the price being about $100 less of most hotels in Boston this is definitely one to check out.
Allisson Bordignon: Nice view. Nice service. But no public transportation close.
ALIKAR: El Hotel es muy cómodo y agradable, tiene un shuttle que te lleva a puntos estratégicos.
Gopal Chopra: Excellent rooms and location for the price. Great customer service.Rooms: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
ANITA VARMA: Amazing hospitality and excellent housekeeping. enjoyed my stay. river view from the room was very refreshing.
Emily Q: Rooms: The rooms were a bit dated. Honestly was a disappointed but the view and balcony we had made up for it. The beds only had thin sheets which i’ve never had at a hotel.Noteworthy details: There was a lot at the hotel that was unimpressive or just made me think the room was not worth the price on top of the fact that they will force you to pay a fee for the shuttle they have even if you dont plan to use it. My friend and I were willing to overlook a lot of things had the service been great, but it wasn’t. The staff is very obviously just here to make money and do the bare minimum. We asked for towels to be sent up to our room one morning and it took them an hour and a half which made us late to our schedules plans and when we called and asked if we could just come down and get them they said it was not an option. I probably could’ve found some at a store and bought them faster than this. The only good thing I can say is the location is convenient.
philip rowe: Good place to stay when visiting Harvard or MIT
SHY: 위치가 보스턴 중심은 아니지만 MIT 바로 옆이고 자전거나 리프트로 금방 이동 가능

Kimpton Marlowe Hotel: what do users think?
DB Cooper: Very nice hotel, and great staff. Highly recommend.
Vedant Daga: decent room, we had the courtyard view. room itself was alright. front desk service was okay, but room service was very prompt. hotel was in a pretty convenient location and had plenty of things to do nearby.Rooms: 3/5|Service: 3/5|Location: 4/5Hotel highlights Quiet …More
Shane Dowler: Probably my favorite Kimpton so far. Huge rooms, a $10 Uber to the North End. As always the staff go out of their way to help you.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Luxury, Great view …More
Seth Garfinkel: If you’re not happy at the Marlowe, you’re not going to be happy anywhere. Staff was great, the location has easy access to Boston and Cambridge, and the beds were probably the most comfortable hotel beds I’ve ever encountered. There’s an amenities fee, which is always a little annoying, but at least the amenities are worth it - including a happy hour in the lobby everyday. Will definitely return.
Bobak Ha'Eri: Average hotel that has criminally slow/spotty wifi for any business or academic traveler. No Zoom calls or online lectures were possible to give because the wifi network is totally unreliable: not only weak, but subject to just shutting down for periods long enough to cut a connection. This is unacceptable in 2023, when the world has adapted to remote work, remote meetings, remote life. The hotel is also terribly understaffed, breakfast in the hotel was exceptionally slow because they had a grand total of one person handling all tables at the rush hour of 7:30-8am. Again... 2021-22 was when work shortages were a fashionable excuse. Furthermore the location isn't that great: 2/3s of Uber/Lyft drivers struggle to find the driveway leaving you to run after them when they stop in the wrong place. It's next to a dying mall that has nothing but awful mall food "and a Cheesecake Factory" as though that's of any value to people who want a quick, healthy option (or, you know, have taste in food). Booking this hotel was one of the biggest mistakes I've made. The office chair was uncomfortable for no apparent reason other than aesthetic choice. I simply do not recommend for business, academic work, or anything other than the undemanding guest.Edited to add that:• one night multiple dogs were barking the whole night because it’s “dog friendly” hotel… which is every guest’s problem.• front desk for check out was terrible. No acknowledgment that we walked to the desk, she just talking about some form with another employee on the phone. This is terrible training. Knocked the service down to one star.Internet, loud dogs, and service make this hotel a complete waste.
J D: The hotel appears to have recently been lightly renovated but it needs a full gutting. It feels like the old building that it is, with a veneer of "new" laid on top. The room felt a bit beat up...not what I'd expect from a Kimpton property.Rooms: 2/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Howard H: The room was very clean and new but the door that connects two rooms together was not very soundproof. I could hear my neighbor talk. The $10 restaurant credit that you get with the amenity fee is problematic. The way you use it is you eat at their restaurant and then put the charge on your room. The problem is they don't check the room number that you tell them. 1. That's a honor system that relies on people's honesty. 2. Good faith mistakes are prone to happen because everyone wants to use up their credit. Good thing I checked all the charges when I checked out. To their credit, they did take the charges off after I notified them. Regardless, it was an unnecessary annoyance.Overall my stay was decent but the value is not there for the premium that they charge.
S D: Nice spot.
Matt Auerbach: Decent location for Cambridge and 10 mins from the airport but the hotel left a lot to be desired — wifi didn’t function at all, calling to the front desk took longer than you’d expect, no extra pillows were available upon request and the only water in the entire hotel costs $6-$8! Comfortable room, bathroom and bed but do not stay for service. The Polaroid camera rental was a redeeming perk though
河合竜也: Very clean and nice amenity but Amenity Fee has been mistakenly charged and they didn’t refund it
Achilles Young: Visiting MIT this was a good choice. Staff really nice and roomsRooms: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 4/5 …More
John Morhous: Great hotel, just need to be mindful of where the drop off and parking location is. Wonderful staff and servicesRooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 4/5 …More
Lauren Elizabeth: The room was ok. We stayed in the 1 bedroom suite... the quality of the room isn't worth the price.I am giving five stars for guest services. The staff we encountered during our stay was consistently top-notch. Especially the valet crew; they were very busy but somehow were attentive and made me feel welcome.
Matthew Saunders: The hotel is very nice. Great location and good amenities. The beds, pillows, and the hvac in the rooms leave something to be desired.Rooms: Beds, pillows, and the hvac are not good. I could deal with the bed, being my own pillows but the control of the hvac were not adequate.Nearby activities: Shopping is very very close.
Sam kassis: Another stay for us at a Kimpton Hotel as usual kimpton never disappoint you always good with . This location has a direct access to Galleria Mall in Cambridge so you do not have to go outside perfect for a snowy day.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Nikki S: The hotel was nice and the staff were helpful and pleasant.

SpringHill Suites by Marriott Boston Peabody: what do users think?
Suhail Fadin: Marriott hotel is my favorite place to stay so no wonder I gave 5 stars .
Jonathan Coulombe: What went well... the rooms are new, thats itWhen we arrived, we were informed that the pool was out of order, the person there did not offer any compensation neither a transfer to an other marriott hotel. Also, all wather fountain were out of order, the climatisation in our room to, even the printer of the othel was out of order...The room was so new that the climatiosation on our second room was not even connected (warning: the electric plug was not fixed in the wall). Also, there were some drape missing and some "after construction" cleanup that was not done. The breakfast consist of eaten croissant and bacon... not a lot of choice. We chose that hotel because it stated at the moment of the reservation that it was a maximum of 10min to Salem. In fact, without trafic, its more 15-20min
Yaj Rabat: The pool was cold and waiting replacement parts and no jacuzzi which was a selling point
Steven Jang: I will give a 3-stars with the condidtion of the hotel but I give them 5-stars because the renovation is going on and they mentioned it in the elevator. The location is great near restaurants and airport. The room was clean even though the curtain needed to be replaced but i have good sleep and no noise during sleeping time. The staff was nice and helfpul. Good recognition as Titanium Elite. Elevator a bit dirty but they mention that renovation is going on meaning it will be better soon.
Luis Burgos: We had a wedding in a town over so stayed the night here. Staff is really nice and helpful! The location was tricky to find and it was difficult to pull out on the road. The room was clean and well stocked.Price for 1 night was very good ($100 split between me and others) and free breakfast is served during your stay at the hotel.Overall, this location was a great choice for us. Would recommend if you are looking for an affordable, friendly, and close-to-nearby-cities hotel.
Pac Man0301: Stayed here so my daughter could go swimming before going back to school after vacation. The hotel is a little dated and elevators were dirty and needed to be wiped down. Rooms were nice and spacious and clean for the most part. A couple of stains on the sofa and a lamp shade was cracked. Loved the bottles of shampoo, conditioner and body wash. The pool and pool room were FREEZING! My daughter was shivering and her skin was red from the water being so cold. Asked the front desk if they were able to adjust the pool temp and/or room temp. They claimed the pool temp was set to 86 deg (it absolutely was not) and pool refilled the week before, so it took time for temps to rise. For the room, they said they weren’t sure but would reach out to the engineer to see if temp could be adjusted. Nothing was done about it. Checked it out the next morning and it was just as cold, if not colder. Vents were literally blowing out cold air. Wasn’t the worst hotel but l I would not stay here again. There are other hotels close by worth trying. Wasn’t worth the money and pool issue ruined the mini getaway.
Hollie P: I'm cross-posting this to warn others of my experience.I stayed there in February 2023, had booked with my credit card for two nights, friday and saturday. We got there late friday night and while in our room, we saw a COCKROACH. I was too disgusted to stay the following night we had booked, and asked for a refund for the night we were not going to use. They refused. my credit card company has been going back and forth with them to reimburse for the night we did NOT stay (checked out at 10am the next day). I wouldn't risk staying here, you can see previous reviews also stating how unclean the hotel is. We ended up staying at the Holiday Inn right down the road and had a much more pleasant experience.
H F: Watch GET Loud Advocates on YouTube. First, they refuse cash as any form of currency. Nothing but a credit card allowed even for a soda. I needed benadryl for my son who was having what appears to be a reaction to "mold/mildew" we were actually going to a hotel to get away from the problems we have at the current apartment we are unfortunately stuck in that is making us sick as MHA refuses to fix anything correctly if at all. Besides the point, I wanted to pay cash for benadryl run up give it to my son, he would not accept cash refused to even call ambulance if needed, not until after someone else put it on their room found me in hallway (I took some anyway, figured I wld deal with consequences after I ensure my son was safe" I wanted sheets and blankets, because one bed has no sheets pillow blanket . He was unable t, in o answer any questions except citing policy. I cited law and he called police in hopes to have me arrested, 5 officers showed up for a 100lb woman and yet all I get is a refund. Shame on you!!
Kayla Mann: The thermostat was broken
S-N-J Lemieux: Great location for access to Boston from the Northshore. This franchise operation shows some wear and tear in the rooms. Basic breakfast OK. Huge disappointment with pool and hot tub down for service. They need a policy to reimburse $20 off room rate for everyday pool or tub is down.Rooms: 2/5|Location: 5/5 …More
C LaRose: I will say the staff are great here! Very friendly. But, the place itself is gross. We live local but wanted to swim and stay out for a night. Our room smelled, slimy bathroom floor, hair in shower, dead bugs in window sill, stained bedding and couch, smelled cigarettes, the pools so chlorinated it burns your eyes just being in the room with it, broken pool ladder, dirty hot tub, crusty floor around the pool, breakfast was scary and inedible. I didn't go expecting glamour but I needed 10 showers when I left this place.
Juan Taveras: The rooms were a bit musty but spacious. The sofa bed did not even have covers and nowhere in the room were they stored. You need a car to do anything aound there except for 1 italian restaurant and a drive tru place. Since there are no sidewalks ita driving.Rooms: 3/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 3/5 …More
Brad Paul: Always love this place! This is our family spot every time we come to Boston. The staff is always so friendly and familiar to us every time we arrive. They upgraded our room when we came up for the Jessie Reyez concert and are always quick to answer any questions or requests that we give them. Their breakfast variety is wonderful for us and our children and the pool always keeps them busy while we get a workout in the fitness room, which looks right in the pool area so we can keep a close eye on them. They’re located close to all amenities and only 15 mins from the city core which we like as well! A beautiful hotel that allows dogs which is why we will always choose SpringHill Suites!!
nicole muller: There was a problem and we ended up not staying but Hannah, the manager of the hotel was fabulous to deal with! She was so accommodating!Service: 5/5 …More
