Hyatt Regency Boston / Cambridge: what do users think?
Ramdas Pisharody: I stayed here for a week for business meetings and a conference. The rooms were comfortable, clean and well maintained with a beautiful view of the river ( my colleagues who didn’t have the river view were less impressed). The fitness room was newly built and excellent. The one let down was the restaurant which has a limited offering, no buffet and the young , inexperienced staff often got the orders mixed up.
Jake Ramirez: I went from a 2-star hotel to what I thought was a 4-star hotel on my last stay in the Boston area with the wife. Couldn't have been more wrong in terms of how the rooms compared. I read another review that said the hotel looked dated, and it did. The silicone on my shower head and shower handle were coming off, the carpet was torn entering the bathroom, our mirror was chipped, the room was smaller than the 2-star room, no microwave. It left a lot to be desired given the "4-star" status. The location wasn't horrible as we did use the shuttle service to the drop-off places they had, and the staff was very friendly. It was a quiet hotel, which was perfect given that we were only there for one night prior to heading home.
Si vas a Cambridge o a Boston, busca otro lugar ...Aquí estás LEJOS DE TODO.
Yuefan Wang: Wonderful place and service. The director Marisa helped us to set up my proposal decorations at the hotel and give us a significant support. It will be a unforgettable moment in our life. I highly recommend stay at this place not only for accommodation but also for all kinds of activities.
Christopher Brown: A truly amazing hotel right on the Charles river.Probably one of the best kept secrets in Boston is Is actually across the river in Cambridge.2 bridges with an easy distance bring you right over into Boston.Rooms are spacious beds are amazing.City bike rentals nearby make transportation very easy. With the price being about $100 less of most hotels in Boston this is definitely one to check out.
Allisson Bordignon: Nice view. Nice service. But no public transportation close.
ALIKAR: El Hotel es muy cómodo y agradable, tiene un shuttle que te lleva a puntos estratégicos.
Gopal Chopra: Excellent rooms and location for the price. Great customer service.Rooms: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
ANITA VARMA: Amazing hospitality and excellent housekeeping. enjoyed my stay. river view from the room was very refreshing.
Emily Q: Rooms: The rooms were a bit dated. Honestly was a disappointed but the view and balcony we had made up for it. The beds only had thin sheets which i’ve never had at a hotel.Noteworthy details: There was a lot at the hotel that was unimpressive or just made me think the room was not worth the price on top of the fact that they will force you to pay a fee for the shuttle they have even if you dont plan to use it. My friend and I were willing to overlook a lot of things had the service been great, but it wasn’t. The staff is very obviously just here to make money and do the bare minimum. We asked for towels to be sent up to our room one morning and it took them an hour and a half which made us late to our schedules plans and when we called and asked if we could just come down and get them they said it was not an option. I probably could’ve found some at a store and bought them faster than this. The only good thing I can say is the location is convenient.
philip rowe: Good place to stay when visiting Harvard or MIT
SHY: 위치가 보스턴 중심은 아니지만 MIT 바로 옆이고 자전거나 리프트로 금방 이동 가능

Nick Dramis: Great stay at a great hotel. Staff was informative, super friendly and incredibly helpful. Location was great super close to restaurants, mall, other shopping.Breakfast although the standard fare for a business hotel was good, changed daily and fresh.Rooms: 3/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 4/5Hotel highlights Great view, Quiet …More
T: Two rooms for our group and heating / AC broken in both... Beds only mediocre, rooms do appear to be well sound proofed though in terms of the neighbors. Traffic noise with the windows as well as pedestrians are plenty noticable still.Staff wasn't exactly the most helpful when checking in and had to rearrange our booking for some reason.Walking distance to the science museum though is it's saving grace. The cost absolutely was not worth it though... I'd recommend staying 20-30 minutes away at a nicer hotel for half the price and then just paying parking.Rooms: Average room. Uncomfortable beds. Nice bathroom. Ok pillows.Nearby activities: Boston Science Museum is fantastic.Walkability: Close enough to the Boston Science Museum and not too far from the mall...Food & drinks: Included breakfast was pretty decent.
Shannon Wentworth: We only stayed 1 night and I am glad it wasn’t more. The staff was very friendly, but the hotel is in DESPERATE need of repair and renovations. The window in our room would not close completely. Maintenance came to look. They slammed the window to close it more but the cold air still made it into the room.
IVAN DIAZ GOMEZ: Great Hotel, affordable prices, good location, good breakfast, great staff and also great breakfast. The bed coach wasn’t too confortable but the rest was perfect.
TJ Lacalamita: Spacious rooms and food serviceRooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Great value …More
Kyler Alvord: The price was not worth the experience, mostly because the front desk will give you things then quietly charge you for them, dramatically hiking your bill. The management will not get back to you about your concerns either - even after 4 attempts. tiffany mukundi: This hotel has the BEST location for the price. It’s a 5 min walk to the train station where you can go anywhere in Boston so we didn’t need a car. On top of that, the room was spacious and CLEAN! Housekeeping did a great job with our room, we really appreciated it. The breakfast was probably the best I’ve had for continental breakfast in the past few years. Lots of variety and snacks to go! The front desk people both nights were so helpful and kind. They held our bags because our flight was late. When I came back for my bags, I noticed I left my AirPods in the room. Within 5 minutes, they brought them to me. I was so thankful and blessed. Imagine if I forgot them and I live in Georgia 😭. If I had to return to Boston, I’d stay here again.
Julian Samaroo: Clean, well stocked rooms. Slightly noisy mini fridge, but not a big deal. Location was a bit far from the action near MIT, but there was a nice little park and a strip with restaurants and such just down the road. Would stay here again!Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 4/5 …More

Anderson Nance: Rooms: Room was nice. The heater didn't work but besides that a good room.Nearby activities: Great location to stay to go to TD garden or downtown Boston or the science museumSafety: Felt relatively safe at this location
Roger Beaujard: This location is perfect. Super clean. Absolutely friendly staff that helped us out with more than one thing. Parking was perfect. Our proximity to what we were doing in town was awesome. Only about an 8 minute drive. Warm breakfast was nice with turkey, sausage, egg, omelets, breads, etc. Couldn't have been a better experience.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
bigdave1331: My wife and I stayed at this Holiday Inn for a weekend getaway. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful! Edith, the receptionist at the front desk is absolutely amazing! If I were her boss, I would certainly be giving her a raise. The beds are comfortable. The hotel and rooms are very clean and appealing. The hotel is located in a safe location that is only a couple minutes walk to the Boston subway system. There is a grocery store right around the corner from the hotel that is within walking distance.
Ivan Capan: Location close to industrial zone, but ok. Close to a shopping areas. Metro is fairly close. Rooms a bit aged, but clean and cosy. Staff is very helpful.Rooms: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 3/5 …More
Zhe Li: Charges fees without any warning, bad location, bad elevator1. I booked the room with my free night provided by my credit card, and throughout the booking process there is no mention of "fees" with specific numbers anywhere. In the confirmation email it also says "Total estimated price: Free". At check-in I was also NOT notified of any fees. Guess what? The day after my stay I got a $55.5 charge. I checked again and there is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING that is mentioned anywhere. They could have charged me $10,000 and say it's "fees". I talked to IHG and they told me about $47 is for fees -- no explanation of what they are for -- and cannot explain where the rest $8 comes from.2. The hotel is located next to a highway in an area that is under development, and the surrouding does not make me feel comfortable walking at night.3. One elevator was out of service, while the other was slow, small and had sudden starts/stops. I was on the 8th floor and once it took me several minutes to go to the lobby because of the stops.I am going to ask my credit card company to give my money back, and I will NOT renew my IHG card next year.
TAKASHI KURIHARA: Good price, good locationRooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
melissa Alves: This is the worst hotel I've ever booked. First when booking we asked for adjoining rooms we get there no adjoining rooms. We were booked months in advance so they should of been no issue accommodating us . They want us to pay 35$ for parking which I did but was not told that I might have to park 4 blocks down the road behind a Dunkin with no lights or cameras. I felt so unsafe tht I had to drive home and check out at 12. I didn't even spend the night. The women at the front desk could careless about what I was saying to her at one point told us that this conversation was over and turned around. If I was told that I would have to park down the road, I would've took an Uber to the show I was going to. I think when a guest checking in you should make them aware that they might have to park four blocks on the road after paying $35. When calling for at least a partial refund they lady told me this is a business basically screw me. I guess customers don't matter just their money. I would never book here again.
Jay S: This hotel is unbelievable… they charge for parking even if there is no parking available because the parking lot is so small in comparison to the hotel rooms they have. So their suggestion is parking in some dark alleyway down the road knowing that people are visiting from out of town… so what are you charging us for parking for?

James Kauczka: Nice hotel, great location right off 90. Be careful of the hot water… can almost cook an egg. Way too hot.
Brian Sit: $15 per hour parking.$47 for validated overnight. The location by the highway would normally be a good thing but it means you have to loop around on one way streets to get here.At $15/hour for parking in the garage when there's nothing else nearby and it's not walkable just feels absolutely ridiculous. It's practically just a bad concrete island resort with loud road traffic.Walkability: Terrible. Not walkable. Vehicle required.
Mindy Lee: The air condition in my room was very noisy. In addition, the amount charged to my credit card was higher than the bill that was presented to me when I checked out. I have written to the hotel but have yet to receive a reply after 3 days.Rooms: 2/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 4/5 …More

Jörg Borkowsky: Gutes Hotel in sehr schöner Lage.

Hotel Veritas: what do users think?
joe vallino: Rooms are ok, but on the small side. There's only a tiny desk and a cube to sit on. Fortunately, I didn't need to work in the room. Some minor quips, the thermostat was broken, the shower had not much pressure and the flow was barely enough to get wet, and the toilet kept running. The main advantage of Hotel Truth is its excellent location to Harvard square.
Adam Proctor: After a chance find we quickly booked into this hotel given the great looking pictures of the rooms. We were not disappointed! The friendly staff greet you on arrival and offer any choice of drinks available 24/7…all sorts of coffee on offer and fruit teas. A lovely reception lobby awaits you if you wish to hang around downstairs (see pictures). The room itself was exactly as described..modern bathroom and comfy bed..sold. Whilst some reviews mention the lack of space we found it adequate - I can see that some might like to have more and it is a compact room, however there is enough space generally for what you need. A decent hotel and we’d definitely stay here again when in Boston!
Joe Yatsky: Great room, albeit small and with varying water pressure. Extremely helpful staff. And an elevator you suspect might hold you hostage at the ground floor, but that's flavorRooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Quiet …More
Julia House: Staff seems like high school kids working their first jobs. Their desk is in a tiny space beside the elevator, and they just sit there on their phones and talk about dying their hair. I noticed this because I spent a lot of time in the lobby, as my room was so small I got claustrophobic. Contrary to the information on their website and on the flyer they gave me when I checked in, there is no bar in the lobby. My room was in what appears to be a converted porch, with windows in place of actual walls, so it was drafty and noisy and the windows creaked all night. My toiled wouldn't flush and the sink wouldn't drain. There's no clock, no coffee pot, no mini fridge, and no bureau/drawers/desk/countertop space. The carpet had stains on it. There's nowhere to put your suitcase. All this and I was nearly overcharged by $300 but luckily my bank caught it and flagged it as an unusually large transaction. I won't stay here again, even though I love supporting hotels that aren't chains. This one just isn't worth the price.
Lia Castrillon: Loved the location. The hotel is old si keep that in mind but, they gave us a pretty good room and we were satisfied with. The garage is a challenge for not so good drivers lolRooms: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Great value …More
Kamie Ngam-Connor: We made a group booking for our wedding party and guests. Justin was very accommodating to our requests and responded promptly. This is a beautiful boutique hotel so the rooms are all different (but on a small side). While one or two rooms are a little tired, overall everyone who stayed loved the ambience and found the staff to be polite, very helpful and discreet. There was no room service except for bottled water and a very nice coffee maker. That said the front desk staff was helpful and let us store our wine in the hotel’s kitchen refrigerator and they also provided endless supplies of glassware. And boy, our family/friends made full use of them!!As we had a large bridal party (14 ladies and girls to get makeup/hair then dress) - Justin managed to assign 2 largest rooms on the same floor for us. With help, our 3 stylists were in the largest room while we kept the other room for relaxing/snacking.The location is excellent just 3 mins from Harvard Sq - we actually walked to the reception venue (Harvard Art Museum) in our wedding clothes !!There is parking and again, the staff were very accommodating to day visitors (aka our stylists).Highly recommend staying here either as a couple or as a party (bridal or otherwise).
Danny van der Rijn: I've stayed at Veritas a lot over the years. Usually it's very nice - great staff, location, service. Don't book petite queen and stay away from ground floor rooms on mass Ave/over the t.Update: looking forward to post-covid return of services but still nice
Arthur Glauberman: This will be the first of two reviews! When we were looking for a hotel to stay in December, I first checked out some hotels in the Cambridge area on line and was impressed by the reviews I read about Hotel Veritas and while I could have booked on one of the hotel sites, I decided to call the front desk and spoke to Pallas, who was the concierge. I told her the price of the room that was posted on line and was curious if she’d suggest that I pay for that or if she could “ beat that price”! To my amazement, Pallas offered me an incredible deal and I happily booked our rooms for over the winter holidays! I then called friends who live in Cambridge and then assured me that the Hotel Veritas is a very classy hotel that is well worth the price we are paying! My next review will be posted after we stay there in December!
Matt Polson: Would NEVER stay here again. We arrive, and there is a festival outside our window, so no hope of any relaxation. The room is so small, there is nowhere to unpack our clothes bc there is no furniture in which to put it. I get offered a different room, but told it is SMALLER. I don’t see how this is possible. Our first night the frat house next door was partying so loud, there was no hope of sleep. Call Cambridge police, and they don’t do anything. This place claims to be a 4 star hotel, but it’s truly unclear why.
zenon Wasyliw: Conveniently located, attentive and professional staff. Great coffee machine in lobby
john kraus: Great customer service
Michele L: Not bad for a short stay. Very small rooms. No fridge or coffeemaker in the rooms. Only street parking unless you want to pay for valet service.
Jennifer Kmetz: Felt run down and old. Bedside table had a crack in the glass, carpeting stained and many things not working. I really wanted to like this hotel because of its great location but just have no desire to ever stay there again.Rooms: 2/5|Service: 3/5|Location: 5/5 …More
CJ A: Guaranteed rate and room if I extended my stay; told there were tons of empty rooms. Went out and new manager said my room was reserved and moved me to a smaller room. Toilet ran and dripped all night; manager told me he couldn’t address it, to just close the door. Housekeeping woke me up very early Sunday! morning; manager told me rooms are cleaned once vacant—even though check out is at noon. Ice machine broken.Great location but I wouldn’t stay here ever again. The managers need a lesson in hospitality. Incredibly rude and irreverent.

AC Hotel by Marriott Boston Cambridge: what do users think?
Patrick W. van Deursen: This AC hotel is one of the first hotels in this price range that as a European has a nice interior and is not dated. The rooms are nice and and new. The only issue I have is with the beds, which are EXTREMELY soft. If started in a king size, and had serieus issue with my back the next day. Staff was friendly enough to put me in rooms with a queen sized bed, which was a lot better.Traffic to and from the hotel to Boston can we a bit busy at times, so take that info account for your commute
Gabi Friedman: Stayed here for a weekend with a group of friends. A/C was out in the room both nights, despite two trips up by maintenance staff who claimed to fix it. Desk staff were perfectly nice, but in suggesting we switch rooms did not offer to have our stuff moved for us or the pull-out made up. Pretty overpriced for the experience. Parking and breakfast are exorbitant and the T stop is not nearly as close as the website makes it seem and involves walking alongside a highway for 0.5 a mile.
Janie G: Charged me for parking when I never used the parking garage. Put me on hold 3 times before answering. When they finally answered, the representative and GM never called me back to resolve the garage fee dispute. I had to take it up Marriott to get the garage fee refunded. Very poor service especially given my titanium elite status.
Anton Krilloff: Night shift service can use some improvement. Trainee Kuazee is confused and needs better supervision. Trainees during the day shift need better training and supervision as well.
Victoria Kuhn: The difference between a good hotel and a great one are the amenities, including the staff. We went to the hotel bar last night for dinner, as we were tired from a strange and longer-than-usual-two-hour-drive-from-Portland. FOUR entrees on the menu. I ordered salmon, David the steak. Well, there was no salmon. So I ordered the the chix BLT sandwich as a Cesar salad (very nice bartender said they have a Cesar even though it wasn’t on the menu). Smallest of bowls crammed with the ingredients - dang the food kept falling off onto the table sigh and no tomatoes. Now my martini - hit the spot! David enjoyed his steak and the carrots were delish! The front desk gal with first name that began with S was very friendly. Room was clean though so modern, it was figuratively cold (not in temp). Wayfinding awful. Black room numbers on less black wall is not a good combo if you want guests to be able to read signs and mood lighting like an old bar throughout the hotel.I stay almost exclusively in Marriotts - and many of them a year. Good hotel but needs to work to be better, especially since my hotel room is supposedly a $1500 a night room, according to the inside of my door.
Melissa M: I stay here often. The staff have been awesome every time and I've yet to have any issues. This last round I was put in a room right next to the elevator (sharing a wall with the elevator lobby) and my room was still perfectly quiet. I could hear a bit if my upstairs neighbor was stomping around & the water was loud when they flushed their toilet, but nothing that impacted my ability to sleep, which is really all I care about in a hotel.Overall, the rooms are very clean and comfortable. The bar has a nice menu and laid back vibe. Parking is expensive, but easy & includes free EV charging.Rooms: Clean, well appointed. My room had a white noise machine.
Caroline Anastasi: Clean and spacious room! There’s a garage next door and you can get parking validated. The hotel is right next to alewife station to get into the city, about a 8 min walk.
John Bantz: nice placeRooms: 4/5|Service: 3/5|Location: 3/5Hotel highlights Quiet …More
Matthew Gillis: Nice clean rooms. How ever the front desk lady was completely useless after my key stopped working
Allison Wilcox: I've stayed at this hotel twice in the past - Nov 2019 and Oct 2018. It's a very stylish hotel, modern and sleek design touches throughout, which I found very appealing. I stayed in rooms with a king size bed both times - they were comfortable and spacious, the bed was great to sleep on. The breakfast buffet is really good, and some cooked-to-order items are also available. I found the staff very friendly and helpful. The AC Hotel Cambridge is definitely on the top of my list for places to stay on future trips to Boston. The hotel location is about 3/10 mile walk to the Alewife T-stop, with the path there going through the Alewife Brook Reservation, a very pretty natural area. It makes for a nice walk to the T-stop or a nice area to spend a little time outside.

Le Méridien Boston Cambridge: what do users think?
Sebastian Brennan: Thanks to the housekeeping staff for finding and sending some headphones I’d left in the room - top end service and a reason to return. Thanks
P.H Jeng: I stayed at the hotel from April 13 to 18, 2023, for a total of six nights. I used the bathtub from the first day, and the water quality seemed normal. However, on the third day (April 15) at 8 pm, the water that was released from the tap was discolored, as shown in the picture.I called the front desk, and they said someone would come to check it out. After inspecting the tap, the staff turned on the cold water from the sink and said it looked normal. He didn't know why the water was discolored and suggested we try running the water again or change to a different room. Then, he quickly left. After the staff left, we tried running hot water in the sink and found that the water quality was the same as bathtub, with sand-like particles. To make matters worse, when we drained the bathtub, the entire tub was filled with sand and oily substances, as shown in the attached picture. When we asked the front desk about the issue, they only offered to change our room to the same type of room on the same floor. They said we could let them know if we wanted to change rooms. However, we had already unpacked all of our luggage for the six-night stay, and we were unsure if the problem would occur again in the new room. It was concerning that such an incident could happen in a four-star hotel, and the staff's reaction seemed indifferent. At the very least, the hotel should try to find out where the problem with the water was coming from.Review at 9:30 pm on April 15, 2023
Nizar Elias: Rooms: The rooms are nice with a lot of space, the bathroom is good and has everything one might need. The TV in the room offers a bunch of streaming services and allows streaming from mobile device.

Standard room and amenities for a hotel of this brand and size. Will definitely be staying here again during my future trips into this part of Boston.
User P: Rooms do not reflect the advertised pictures. Staff is nice.
jack wang: I am beyond disappointed at this property, while I was eating I saw two mouse scurrying across the floor, I took a video and showed it to the desk clerk. Their response was “this is a 30 year old building, that’s expected.” At least pretend you care.Rooms: 3/5|Service: 1/5|Location: 5/5 …More
KG: This hotel is old without proper maintenance. Rooms are not cleaned properly. I’m a platinum member and I have never seen so much dirt at a Marriott hotel.

The Charles Hotel: what do users think?
Thomas Nechyba: This used to be my favorite hotel. I would look forward to arriving, exercising in a wonderful facility, taking a dip in the pool and enjoying the hot tub, etc. Unfortunately, this facility has closed -- and been replaced by a fairly plain exercise room. I recently arrived and the staff bragged about the opening of this faculty -- and asked for my opinion once I experienced it. So that's my opinion. The check-in staff also bragged that the mini-bar in the room was back and asked if I wanted a key to the mini bar. I said yes -- and ended up opening the mini bar in the middle of my third night. It was empty. Somehow, the hotel has not managed to get back to what it used to be. I hope they will. At the price they charge, I don't see how they can keep things this way.

Sara Foley: The Charles Hotel was the perfect home for our wedding weekend on December 31, 2022. No one could've taken care of us, our family, and our friends better. From the months prior of expert planning with Jennifer Halpin, to the day of execution, on a holiday no less, with the most pleasant staff... we were blown away. The reservations team, including Ariana Ricci, was responsive and kind while handling our large, ever-changing, room block. The driveway team, including Zafar, Phil, Fauod, German and Dan, were prompt and extremely helpful with our CARTS full of belongings. The front desk team, led by Sumit Tuladhar, was so attentive and efficient. And then the banquet team, led by Jim, ... is just the best of the BEST. Patti, Stephen, Tim, Wilson, Edin, Mostafa, Rob, Said. It took a village, and family, to pull this wedding off.And a shout out to one of the wedding banquet servers, Pam. She was there at the wedding Saturday night until 12:30am, and then we saw her at 10:00am when we went down the breakfast. And she was smiling and gushing about our wedding. First of all, what a champion, but to do it all with the biggest smile... it truly made our day the next day.We can't say enough. And we couldn't be more grateful.

Traveler: A wonderful stay around Christmas. Booked under Amex Fine Hotels & Resorts and surpassed expectations. Staff was great. Room was well appointed. Henrietta's table had a wonderful breakfast. The location of the Charles cannot be beat. We look forward to returning.+ shout out to Alex at the front who was particularly helpful.
Lukas A.: Great hotel with very friendly staff. Fitness room is a little bit of a euphemism. Cafe ok. Beds are amazing and interior throughout the hotel very nice.
Sharon Peterson: To Alex, Jennifer and the entire staff at The Charles Hotel,You helped us achieve all of our daughter’s and new son in law’s wedding of their dreams. From the minute we arrived to the end of an enchanted wedding reception we are all so very grateful. A wedding is not an easy event to plan, however you and your staff made it look easy! Thank you for everything we couldn’t be happier today. The parents of the bride,Jeff and Sharon
Michael Roberson: Nearby activities: It is in a good area of townFood & drinks: Just love the restaurant, great service and food
Kathryn Sheehan: I always park here when I see a show at ART. It's only $14 for evening parking!

Louis Nguyen: Within walking distance of Harvard Yard. Nice hotel. Only quibble is low flow shower.

Blakesley: Hotel is nice but the bed in room 601 shakes when the bus or a truck goes by. At first I thought it was an earthquake. Avoid 601 if you like to sleep.

The Catt: Overall a nice hotel convenient to Cambridge and Harvard. The rooms are a bit dark and small, however. Additionally the Internet access is extremely slow.Updated:. Water temperature takes a long time to get hot water. Water pressure is also a bit low.Updated Dec 2022: The lounge is still closed, you will get food certificates for the onsite restaurant instead.Updated March 2023: Internet was recently upgraded and is a little bit faster.
G.A. d: Super rude front desk staff during the day...always too busy on their phones or hiding to greet anyone...only smiles come from maintenance staff...very overpriced...Rooms: 5/5|Service: 1/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Jason Robinson: Nice rooms and location, but service leaves a lot wanting. Wifi was poor and sporadic, and the restaurant staff refused to heat up our leftovers from dinner the day before without rationale. Additionally, as a safety concern, housekeeping entered our room unannounced before our scheduled checkout time.Rooms: 4/5|Service: 2/5|Location: 4/5Hotel highlights Quiet …More
Cesar Palma: Recently renovated and centrally located I enjoyed both my well appointed room and my stay. Friendly staff. Nice decor. The only drawback was a surprisingly tiny elevator (maximum capacity 2 people with luggage). Not sure what that space constraint is about especially after their recent remodeling.

Sonder 907 Main: what do users think?
Asaf Taragan: My first time in Boston was great thanks to Sonder !the room was great also as the locationthe room was super clean and the design easy and fresh made me feel like in home!!very comfortable bed !i'm highly recommend on that place !!love that Sonder and now love Boston as well!!
Alohi Adams: The room and bathroom was very spacious and beautiful! I booked this hotel for the location and it did not disappoint. Walking distance to Cambridge and MIT, one bus stop away from Harvard, and a couple bus stops away from Hynes Convention Center. I was nervous it was going to be loud with the upstairs and downstairs bars, but I never heard any noise the entire stay. There is no front desk, but the response times in the app are super quick if you need anything.
Ron Diskin: Such a gorgeous city. Beautiful building. Large apartment. Digital check in/check out. This company is all digital and was an amazing customer experience. Will definitely be coming back. Sonder is the future of hospitality. I suggest downloading and booking through their app for big discounts and best customer service

Andrew Givens: Unethical - they do not disclose ahead of time that the hotel is not staffed, there's no breakfast, the rooms are smaller than they seem in photos, you need to upload your passport and take a selfie, verify your phone, use their app, etc. all with high risk of identity theft. Terrible!Rooms: 1/5|Service: 1/5|Location: 1/5 …More
Harry Minke: Always a good stay!Rooms: Clean and comfortable.Safety: Very safe and professionally protected property!
Cristiana Ceppas: The location was perfect for us. Walking distance to my daughter’s dorm at MIT and near Flour Bakery, plus other great restaurants. We left our luggage at the front desk before check in and did not return until after 8pm. By the time we returned, there was no one at the front desk. It’s not like a regular hotel where there is someone at the front until late hours. I called Sonder from the lobby about checking in and found out that they had taken our luggage to our room before they left.Great stay! Would definitely stay there again.Rooms: Very comfortable bed.Walkability: Super convenient. Easy walk to subway/ bus, restaurants
Pete Kealy: Clean, cosy and convenient location halfway between Harvard and MIT.Walkability: Close to the Red Line at Central Station, 4 minute walkRooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Romantic …More

Jill Rudolph: We loved our stay….however, the pillows are too hard and there is a need for a shelf or two. Oh., and our coffee machine didn’t workRooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Aaron Taddiken: I spent two days making a reservation with this place because the payment process kept failing. After patiently working through their systems and having my visa charged 4-5 times I finally got a confirmation and receipt (which required over 5 emails to me just for that last receipt…)Then I get a series of emails canceling my reservation with a reference to my payment being too risky and that the decision is final.I figure this must be a system mistake, right?NopeI called and was on hold for another 15 mins while the nice lady on the phone looked into it.She confirmed that they won’t host me and had no reason other than what was emailed.Very frustratingNot likely to recommend this place. Super shady.
Kiersten Sundell: Room was beautiful and clean, there were several great amenities available, and we really enjoyed our stay. The only thing I'd say is that the nearby parking garage, recommended by Sonder (55 Franklin St) is exorbitantly expensive. Unless you're okay with paying $80 for 25 hours of parking like we did, I would suggest finding somewhere else.
Benjamin Cross: Rooms: Nice room with comfortable bed that had lots of pillowsRooms: 5/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights High-tech …More
Ben Allsopp: Such a lovely experience. Great location, checking-in was so easy, and the room was charming and immaculate. Would definitely recommend, excellent value for money.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Quiet, Great value …More
Shua Son: Absolutely loved staying at this Sonder! This was my first time to the Cambridge/Boston area, and this was the perfect place to stay. It's a quick and easy walk to the subway, really close (I mean same building) to lots of great restaurants, and a quiet safe neighborhood. The room is clean and thoughtfully designed. Service is amazing—everyone in the lobby was kind and very helpful. The luggage storage was a great bonus. Hope to return again very soon, and will be recommending to all my friends!

PF: Cool hotel, no bottles of water in the rooms, and water from the sink is not good.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 4/5 …More
Andrew Mockler: This is a dated property that is in need of an upgrade. The room I was in was cheaply appointed and felt more like a bargain basement property than a Marriott property. A chair was ripped, the bathtub had cracked and peeling enamel, the desk chair was cheap vinyl and so on. Having said that, the staff was great.Rooms: 1/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 4/5 …More
Michelle Hibbert: Super friendly front desk staff! Accommodating housekeeping staff who checked in daily for any needs you might have. Close to BU for a weekend trip to see my daughter. Nice views of Charles River. Microwave access would be nice though.Walkability: A nice 1.5 mile stroll to BU west campus. Felt safe catching a bus to the red line.
Jesse Jacoby: Pros:--Right next to a Trader Joe's--Close to airportCons:--Dated rooms and decor--Some lights and outlets didn't work--No microwave--No shampoo in the shower--Cheapo coffee maker--Gym was grimy (needed swept), at last one machine that didn't work, treadmills are worn and noisy
Lt. Commander Data: So, this hotel is somewhat expensive for just staying 2 nights. Parking fir your vehicle is $45 a night and when you check in they ask you to put a card on hold for if anything happens to your room. We'll, no matter what they are gonna charge you another $100 because of "taxes" during your stay. This hotel needs a renovation. The showers are out of date, the air conditioning doesn't really work, and the room itself feels like it's made out of cardboard. Oh, by the way make sure to check your bed sheets before you sleep in them. Found 15 hairs in ours and then requested another room. They didn't even upgrade us for that. I don't recommend this hotel to anyone and suggest you book a different hotel because honestly if you're going on vacation you want to have a good time and trust me you won't be having a good time at this hotel. Staff were friendly however, so that's why it's getting 2 stars and not 1.
Christine P: Probably the most comfortable hotel bed in a long time. Hotel is conveniently located and the staff are courteous. Our “city view “ room was more of a Highway room, but it was still nice. Parking is insane at $45. Breakfast is also costly. You’re better off going to one of the many local restaurants.
Xiaoyin Wang: Walking distance to Harvard square!
Javier Morales Mediano: I arrived after a long flight and they received me very warmly. There was a problem with my voucher and they made their best to solve. Even though they had a more easy solution as it was making me to pay with my own credti card. An special metion to Brahim, Deyli and Daniel, the guys at the reception. They were exceptional. Thank you very much.
NYC Traveler: Nice hotel with clean room. Staff was friendly. Only draw back is they changed $45 a night for parking. I wouldn't stay there again based on the parking fees.Rooms: Clean roomRooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 4/5Hotel highlights Great view …More
George Torres: The hotel staff are not all up in your business. They are available when needed. I feel it's very private place to stay. Low key and in a great location right across the Charles River and Boat House.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Demetrios Kanavaros: An affordable and decent stay in/around Boston. Everything we wanted to do was a quick Uber from this hotel. The building is clearly old and has some details that could use attention. The ceiling in the bathroom of room 1006 looks like it was repaired by Ray Charles. There's also some framed art in the bathroom that has a huge water stain on it that clearly has been there for a while. The shower is old. Tub is scratched from years of abuse and there's no flange around the water pipe to the shower head so you can just see the rough cut tiles and a hole. Very classy. The carpet in the room had some stains. The bed was comfortable and parking was convenient.
Erica C: We loved our stay at the Courtyard! This was a great place to stay to experience the Boston area. Uber is readily available and the closest T station is a 20-minute walk away. The staff was wonderful and friendly. Unfortunately, I did not get the names of the front desk staff but they are the reason we will return in the future. Props to them for listening to my husband's silly jokes. The hotel rooms are large for the Boston area and extremely quiet. We stayed in Room 1404 with a spectacular view of the river. I recommend paying extra for the river view rooms. Our room was clean and the bed was extremely comfortable after a night out. The bathtub was an added plus! Our only complaint was that the cable was hit-or-miss with blackout periods when we were in the room.Thank you to everyone at this Marriott location. We will be back soon.
I Am: Expensive but right on the river.Rooms: 2/5|Service: 3/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Bridget Sanford: I travel frequently to Boston for work and this is my go-to hotel for all things Harvard. Shoutout to Joel at the front desk for always being friendly and remembering me!
Sierra Graham: Don't waste your money on this hotel.1. My boyfriend and I booked 5 nights here and was told the price was going to be $822. Upon checking in, we were then told the price would be $960, because of parking. About 4 days after checking in, they randomly charged me another $150 with no warning and claimed that it was the "deposit" and that I would get it back within a few days.2.) You have to pay $45 each NIGHT just for overnight parking which is a complete rip off considering how much we paid to stay there.3.) There is no microwave in the room. The only microwave is all the way in the lobby and that is the only one open for every guest. We were on the 7th floor and would have to take the elevator down just to warm up our food and then take the elevator back upstairs.4.) We got woken up by the fire alarm at 5:00am this morning telling us that we had to evacuate along with every other guest that was there and wait for firefighters to arrive over a pipe bursting outside, which was unnecessary as the pipe was just left leaking, even hours later. They didn't even bother to stop it.
