Lizard Lounge: what do users think?
Trappist 1: bald guy working the door/box @ dub apocalypse tonight was rude and arrogant. will not be back. bad vibe.
Eric Warner: Amazing room and lovely staff. Every night there is special.
James Kane: What a cool venue
Alice Philbrick Potenza: Always great live music. Upstairs, Pub food is also very good.
Daniel Bennett: Been here once and so far I love the atmosphere! Food is pretty good and there's a small bar. The people here are supportive and they encourage artists to speak their mind uncensored
T BXTWO: Chameleon Rift music was fantastic at Lizard Lounge. High energy high quallty electric jam that takes you away dancing even when you're sitting down. Can't wait to go back.
Lakaila Galloway: Always a great time at the Lizard Lounge! So glad they have opened back up! Happy retirement to Jeff Robinson!
Mike Pietrowski: Love this room!
golfinmang: Awesome spot, cool ambience. I liked the options on tap and the live music was great! Shout out to Ghosts of Jupiter!
John Gillis: Intimate with good sound. Table service could be better.
Sarra Abusamra: The main memories are of a great time
Ayan Chatterjee: Great food, especially the burgers. Sitting outside is a bit tough during winter.
John McGowan: Great food and super acts/bands in the heart of town! Very intamate.
Reggie Etienne: I'm a big music fan, so when the music is right my mind is right. Went to this spot to check out a drummer friend, stayed for so much more. It was a super funky experience.. words won't do justice. it's worth checking out. I'm going back soon to check out another band by the name of Dub Apocalypse. The musical part of the venue is in a sub level and may feel a bit claustrophobic for some, but once you order a beverage and begin to absorb the music, you'll be fine. It actually enhances the experience You can almost get close enough for the musicians to sweat on you.. If you're into that stuff (..and who isn't)On my first trip I got the chance to see 3 bands.. all very good! Think funky, jazzy, Erykah Badu, Parliament. Vocalists were on point and very entertaining.. and the music? FugetAboutit!!
Annie Rabi Bernard: The tacos are very tasty and flavorful. The cheesy nachos have more cheese than you can ever dream of !!!
Matt Chase: Unfortunately, all I have are blurry photos and some videos but that is a FANTASTIC sign. Lizard Lounge was great, the local bands and artists that played were extremely talented, something I wouldn’t have expected had I not read other reviews. I ended the night talking to a few of the folks playing and they were down to earth and humble of their work. Although there was only one bartender, he was friendly and worked hard. Loved this little spot.
Gnu Gnuzza: Superior spot to enjoy the talents of our local musicians.Bar staff was exceptional.
Andrew Lindsay: The best place in town to see Duke Levine and Kevin Barry!
Samantha Mackowitz: Great spot for live music! Loved it
Chris O'Connell: The Monday open mics are a great place to meet local musicians. George is a great MC and keeps it lively.
Alan Stallings: Awesome place to enjoy true art!

The Cantab Lounge: what do users think?
Jaye Aster Broder: The positive parts of Cantab include that it’s typically less crowded than 730 Tavern, is near Central Square metro stop, available tap water, modest size, and live music. The negative parts are the entry cover even on an early weeknight, sticky floors, overly loud music, and adults who ask for tips for their dancing. The cover is not even in whole dollars; it’s $10.50.
Seamus Glynn: Same as it ever was. I have memories of it from 50 years ago. It deserves attention from a historian or a sociologist. It's a window into Central Square's continuity over decades of change.
S D: Smells a bit and if you're up to it maybe worth it for the live music
What whatter: Pipe leaked on my head probably sewer?
Iñigo Rengifo: If you want to be treated very poorly by the staff, this is the place to go.If you want somewhere nicer, go to the places nearby.
Sheika Babin: The Cantab Lounge was awesome. It's been a few years since I last patron the lounge but still offers a good experience. My preference is upstairs with the live band. Downstairs is good with the DJ but a younger crowd. Cantab offers something for everyone and a good atmosphere. The mixed drinks are excellent!
Andrew Zoller: Poetry slam Wednesdays are kickass! Super fun vibe and good show/talented people!!
deez nutz: Black leather Mondays here are awesome
Valentine: Sympa mais il n’y avait malheureusement pas de musique le moment où nous sommes venus
Robbie Ashton: Great underground spot for standup comedy, open mic nights and more. Cover for comedy is $15, but you get your money's worth and cards are accepted for it
Adrian Byng-Clarke: I was skeptical about the new management and renovation for such a landmark…. But it remains a special place
James Brooks: Great bar!
Caasi: Had a blast tonight. Loved the lower basement edm/techno
Gus Olownia: Drinks are fine, music is fine. The amount of creeps there though grabbing people without there consent is absolutely disgusting. Glad to say I'll never be back there again. I was willing to make an exception because customers are external factors but when I heard those creeps were regulars and even the bouncer knew them? HELL NO
Keiichi Hashimoto: My Go for jam session since 1990 !Old friends,... New Friends and more.Sundays and Wednesdays9pm house band starts10pm Jam startsAlways Great Time !see you guys around !
Michael Powers: The bar has been remodeled. Looks much better
Kristopher Kuss: Totally average place to get a drink or see a show.
Brian James: Classic old time Mass Ave. Cambridge lounge to hear some music and get cold beer or cocktail.
Hanna Krueger: Best bar in Boston area, hands down.
Faith Festa: Very nice Good music evening
Inviting Interior Style Jennifer Collins: Always a great time to see a great band

Noir: what do users think?
What whatter: Attempts to be fancy not great for socializing.
David Stickney: Absolutely the best service and great drinks and food
Jaye Aster Broder: Decent cocktail bar for Cambridge. There are some unique cocktails with trendy techniques like butter washed gin. There are some beers on tap. It’s crowded on Friday nights. You can wait or just be ignored for quite some time. There is some overflow seating inside the hotel but outside the bar.Edit, to respond to owner: We knew we needed to place orders at the bar. The issue was that members of my party reported standing at the bar, making eye contact with the bartender, watching the bartender take several orders and make several drinks for roughly 15 minutes. I hope that adds clarity to the review.
sportygoalie32: Normally I’m skeptical of bars in hotels…however Noir is officially the exception to the rule. Nice patio that offers good food and even better drinks! The staff have great banter as well. A solid spot in Cambridge!
N. M.: Update your business hours on google
Nizar Farsakh: Nice cocktails
Sujan: Decent bar in the Charles hotel. But I felt the drinks are a bit pricey for what it has to offer.
Melissa (MelissaJane): I was considerably underwhelmed. Noisy little place even when not very full. Very good service. Very mediocre food - a cheese board of entirely uninteresting selection was served too cold, woefully ungarnished except for a plonk of overripe grapes, accompanied by overtoasted bread and insipid jam. Olives were strangely bitter. I felt like they got the concept but absolutely fell down on the execution of what ought to be extremely simple bar food. I wouldn't have thought much of it if it wasn't a hotel once famous for its excellent food.
Hann Solo: Always love the cocktails here and fantastic service. Outdoor patio is comfy and has space heaters, complimentary blankets. Nice because it never feels crowded.
Danny Curran: Our waiter was excellent. Food was delicious. Aside from the guy re-filling water glasses like a kamikaze pilot learning how to land, the experience was great.
Seth Lucas: The perfect European experience in Harvard Square. A cocktail bar and so much more.
Hilary Adams: Cocktails were fairly good and service was okay.
John Doyle: Great cocktails!
edward dudek: Enjoyed Noir outside at the Charles Hotel Sat night. Highlighter beer and chicken flatbread pizza. Fresh brewed and pressed coffee. Heating lamps throughout the outdoor patio and blankets available but still dress warm and wear a hat. I found it invigorating. You'll also enjoy the international music playing. Not expensive at all but still ride herd on the wait staff. 4 1/2 stars.
Julie Sesen: Great place with delicious cocktails!
mzamo masito: Food amazing
Sameer khatiwada: Excellent.
Irene Aguero-Torres: Try their Old Cuban. Delicious!
Bryant Chang: Trendy bar with great drink selection
Victor Montano: Decent place, but they charged me more than what I signed for, even after my tip. It was only a few dollars more, but wonder how many people they are doing this to who don’t even realize it.. definitely not going back
Dean Moriarty: Great bar tender gabby

Blue Owl Rooftop Bar: what do users think?
What whatter: Rooftops are cool. There were a ton of just skanky types.
Lolita L: Nice place
Emily Johnson: Went to Blue Owl for a private event with the entire bar reserved. The interior was cozy, the snacks and apps were good, and I found the bartender and servers to be attentive and friendly. The taco bar was especially tasty.
Jesse Galloway: An excellent rooftop bar with an indoor portion for chilly days, lovely staff, and a primo place for hosting events! They have a fun food menu and great drinks
John Taplett: Wonderful place for an outdoor drink at sunset
LaKeisha M. Gandy: I’ve never been to an establishment where the bar manager tells me he can’t give me cherries because they $2 per pound. He was extremely rude! He informed me for a good five minutes likely doesn’t people of color! People don’t go here!! He was extremely nice to all the clear customers!!!
Sean McKenna: Nice rooftop bar, recommend going for drinks over food
Kevin Casey: The view was good, but food/drinks were average and wait time after ordering was long
Margaret Jackson: Decent food and good drinks, but the staff was meh, bordering on rude. Hostess downstairs seemed flustered and upset by our request for an outdoor table. Server seemed to have forgotten about us on more than one occasion. I wouldn't rush back.
Irene: I was so AGHAST by the service I received at Blue Owl Cambridge that I was compelled to repost my first ever Yelp review on here.I visited Blue Owl with a dear friend for a farewell dinner together (party of 2). Started off great, we were pleasantly surprised to be seated outdoors on the rooftop almost immediately after being told there would be an hour long wait. After enjoying a couple drinks and the view, it got a bit chilly and we were ready to leave. It took 15 minutes to get our waitress’ attention while she visited the people two tables away multiple times. Eventually, my friend gets up to go ask her for the check. The waitress finally comes to our table and my friend and I ask to split the check. The waitress obliges and hands me the iPad first which just shows a price and nothing else. It looks off to me and I ask her if I could see the itemized bill. She says she will print the receipt AFTER we’ve both paid and completed the transaction. Giving her the benefit of the doubt, I assume that maybe the price on the screen was the total amount before we split the check (not the amount due per individual), and we both oblige and swipe our cards. The waitress brings the receipt a few minutes later and disappears. The bill was for the WRONG TABLE and she charged us MORE THAN DOUBLE what we ordered!Another 10 minutes go by before we can get her attention again. She gives a blanket apology and says she’ll void the transaction. She comes back with our correct bill amount and asks us to PAY AGAIN, without even offering the voided receipt. Of course, I ask for the voided receipt and she says she’ll be back after asking her manager.Another 10 minutes go by, she comes back and says that she CAN NOT print a voided receipt. At this point, I ask for the manager directly.Another 10 minutes pass, the manager comes by and asks us to write down our names and email addresses so that she can send us the voided receipt via email. We oblige, she confirms the spelling of our names and emails, and promises to send us the voided check immediately.By this point, it’s closing time. It’s been 30 minutes since the error and 45+ minutes since we were ready to leave. We wait another 15 minutes for the email to arrive and nothing. Eventually we spot the manager again and ask her for an update. She claims she already emailed us, but when she shows us her screen, she MISSPELLED NOT ONE, BUT BOTH of our names in our email addresses.I spell my name and email address to her AGAIN and we finally receive the voided receipt MORE THAN AN HOUR after the error and 1.5 hours after we were ready to leave. The waitress then reappears to get us to pay our correct bill, offering the same blanket apology and nothing else.I have never seen such blatant and careless negligence. WOW! Definitely a memorable impression for a farewell dinner.
Rebecca Li: Drinks are mostly good, although the Clarified Ramos was really bad… the orange blossom was so overwhelming that it straight up tasted like perfume. I eventually diluted with ice and even water, still not drinkable. What a waste of a $22 drink.Service was pretty slow, even on a Wednesday evening. The way their tipping system is set up is a scam imo. Apparently everyone is using Toast nowadays and force you to choose a tip amount while the waiter/waitress is watching. Their lowest default tip is 20%, and that’s calculated AFTER TAX, which I only realized afterwards. So really it’s minimal 27% tip!! That’s just ridiculous.Probably not going back again. Sad ;(
Ezequiel Zarate: Good bar. Tasty drinks. They don't allow to smoke in the terrace.
Mark Diethelm: The views and location are the best part about Blue Owl. The drinks are fairly pricey for what they are, but if you're just going for one or two on a warm evening, it's a nice experience. The food is really good, I recommend the ceviche and the fritters.
lavvender: The cocktails here were all very delicious. I had the Nise no Hato and it was the most refreshing cocktail I've ever had. The vibes are excellent and the rooftop seating is very nice. Can't wait to come back again
Ramiz Qudsi: Seating area isn't great. The chairs are a bit unsteady and the table is kinda smaller than what you would expect.Though they don't have a lot of food options, the food is usually pretty good. The chilly plate comes with a lot of chillies. Definitely need 2 or more people to finish it off. They have a decent number of wines for selection, unfortunately the one we ordered was out of stock. Ended up ordering a Cabernet Sauvignon which was pretty good. The view from rooftop is pretty good.
Manjary Guha: Services are really great. Must visit place at Cambridge.
Kortney Adams: Definitely pricey, but friendly staff, complex drink offerings, and great views from this rooftop bar. Worth a quick stop in for a drink.
Von Harris: A great find in Cambridge! Our service was good. A little slow, although it was not very crowded. Drinks are great. Food is ok. Our food was cold but tasty. Only reason I will not give 5-stars is the rooftop "hostess" , "floor manager" or whatever her title is was EXTREMELY RUDE. They do not take reservations and our party kept growing. She was NOT happy about that and acted accordingly. Thank goodness we had an amazing server, Leah or Lily. Excellent view of Central Square, Cambridge. I have visited this establishment 3 times and each time brought more friends with me. I will definitely visit again but surely avoid the angry lady who seemed to run the outside rooftop area.
Jingle Huang: Good cocktails.
Sean: Pretty fire cocktail program. Good vibes and good views. The only thing lacking was the greeting situation on the ground level. Acknowledgement is important.
Lisa Bowler: We had an amazing birthday party on the rooftop last night (7/16) for my daughter’s 25th birthday. It exceeded our expectations! The food was delicious, the staff friendly and attentive … the perfect evening! Thank you to Roberto and our waitress Michelle who took care of our every need! We will definitely be returning!
