The Dial: what do users think?

Eduardo Latouche: I don’t know how this restaurant is still open. The food and service was way too low quality for the location and price. The hostess treated us like we were a nuisance. The menu changed drastically since the last time we were there (September 2021), taking a turn for the worse.Food: 2/5|Service: 1/5|Atmosphere: 3/5 …More
Ashna Ramaswamy: we were only able to order after 40 minutes, and the food was SO flavourless. drinks were also super watered down. overall, would not recommend for the price point.
Angelica Chan: I came here for a birthday dinner on a Friday night. We had a reservation and no one had come over to the table until 30 minutes into the reservation when I had to ask the hostess about who our server was because the one walking by our table was avoiding eye contact. The manager eventually came by to put our orders in and 15 minutes after that, our supposed original server finally asked if she could “get anything started”. After that no one checked in on us until I had to find the manager again to get the check so we could just leave because there was no way we were going to get to order anything else in the next hour. The only comforting thing was surrounding tables sharing the same frustration as the server seemed to tend to only one table in her section regularly.
Leah Hurl: Sat for over 10 min and no one came over . Went up and told bartender and she didn’t care at all. Left and went next door to shojoFood: 1/5|Service: 1/5|Atmosphere: 1/5 …More
T M: So I stopped in this restaurant and had the Spanish chicken, it was very flavorful and cooked very well. The staff was tired, it seemed, and more busy on restocking. I feel the menu is a little lacking to what the restaurant is geared towards. The food is overpriced, especially for location. On top of inflated prices, I was charged 3% for the kitchen ... maybe the kitchen should have served me.
Joseph Brassard: Central square needed another spot like this. Funky interior, great food, easy walking distance from the red line. Not too far from Kendall, either.Enjoyed the two cocktails I had (old fashioned and the "notorious FIG"). Also the Thai Red Curry for entree. If you like spicy foods, this wasn't that, but still flavorful.
Jennifer Liang: Great place for brunch! The portions was quite large for the price. French toast was awesome!——Came back again for brunch. Great spot with lots of good and reasonably priced options. I really liked the frittata as well as the shakshuka. The servers are friendly and welcoming. It’s not too crowded in the mornings, so there is no wait time.

DJ Baker: The Dial is the kind of place I've been looking for. Wonderful atmosphere, great music never too loud or soft, and staff is experienced and it shows. From Ava, Camilla, and Nicole, the level of professionalism they pride themselves in while also being their authentic selves. I went back 2 days later because it's a place to enjoy, remember, and certainly to frequent. Food is fantastic and drinks are exceptional including their draft choices.
Ben Pruitt: The outdoor patio is great. Cocktails are pretty standard. Food is hit or miss.
Lena Owens: Great brunch - the French toast and breakfast sandwich were super good. Wait staff was friendly too. The high tops are a little uncomfortable, try to sit somewhere else if possible! Also a bit expensive for what you get.
Chris Nicholson: After enjoying a couple of dinners here, we held our office holiday party in the bar area. I can't speak highly enough of the flexibility and responsiveness of the staff, not to mention the great service and food. Exceptional experience all around. Give 'em a try.
Sam John Jr: The Dial, is one of my favorite restaurants in the Cambridge / Boston area! I cannot say enough about this place. I have been four times for brunch and dinner. The food is amazing! My favorite dish is the chilaquiles, shakshuka and the lamb merguez burger. I think the best time to attend is for brunch on a Saturday and Sunday. During the summer the outdoor patio is beautiful. The decor, the drinks, the dessert and most importantly the staff. Every time I have gone, I always feel treated like royalty. It truly is a world class experience. I am surprised more people don't know about The Dial. It is so underrated. You have to check it out!
je pe: A really cool place for drinks after workFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Nazim Khan: This is hands down the best Indian restaurant I've visited in Boston. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. It was fun to chat with the server and have a beer at the bar while getting my food. I would recommend trying this restaurant.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Katie McHatton: Food: 3/5|Service: 3/5|Atmosphere: 4/5More
Courtney Smith: Very cool atmosphere with unique and delicious drinks. The drink menu has changed since I visited in summer 2022. I would definitely go back to try this season’s options! We got the Parmesan Rosemary fries, which were great. I would recommend making a reservation. We did not have one and had a hard time getting a table.
