Moves & Vibes Dancing Academy: what do users think?
Emily Paron: Best dance studio in Massachusetts. I have learned so much dance styles and have not only gained friends- but people whom I can call my family. A great, upbeat and friendly environment that demonstrates a safe space to learn and grow , whether you're starting out as a beginner or intermediate. There's always something new to learn. 10/10 recommend!
Linda Pettway: The dance center overall is a cool spot and you can try out a number of different dance styles and classes no matter what age you are
Zaya Amgaabaatar: Very friendly staff!
Jeff Connor: Inna was our dance instructor for our first dance at our July wedding. Truth be told, my (the husband) dancing experience was no more than moving to the beat (and not spilling my beer) at college and house parties (my wife has been dancing well for years). Inna was patient, funny, and got me into a position where I felt comfortable (and couldn’t wait) for the first dance. We enjoyed our first dance and it went by smoothly. We recommend her to anyone (especially those with two left feet!!)
Brian Cox: Inna is amazing! My fiancé and I booked a private lesson with Inna to prepare for our wedding. She was quick to respond and flexible in booking. The lesson itself was exactly what we were looking for. Neither of us are dancers so we weren’t looking for anything too complicated. Inna taught us simple, but elegant steps that look good and are in our skill level. She made us feel comfortable and confident to do the dance for our big day. Inna was patient and kind and I’d highly recommend her!
Allan Baumer: Went here to learn how to dance for my wedding. I think we grew a lot. I had just about zero experience going into it, but after a few lessons we got the movements down.
Masha Amelina: Best sensual dance school in Boston hands down! Classes are so much fun and teachers are awesome!
HKF Construction: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality
Daniel Mirabito: Positive:Professionalism
Monica Andrade: We were recommended by a friend who recently got married and had Inna as their dance instructor and she was great. Very patient. AJ and I have no clue how to dance and she made it seem like we knew what we were doing! Everyone was shocked it only took us five weeks to learn our dance. I would definitely recommend Inna to anyone getting married and looking for dance lessons!
Carlos Sales: Show de bola...o salão de dança com o professor Carlos. A comida precisa melhorar...mas isso é responsabilidade do clube.

Q Ballroom: what do users think?
R M H: I watched the hosts and admissions people be stunningly rude, insulting, and snobbishly unprofessional to several guests. If you just want to have fun and learn this might not be the place for you.
Adrian Obleton: My wife and I had a wonderful experience taking a private ballroom dance lesson at this studio. It was our first time trying any kind of ballroom dance, and our instructor Stas was fantastic. He patiently taught us the basic steps for Salsa, Rumba, and Foxtrot, and we had a lot of fun in the process. We're already thinking about coming back for more lessons. Highly recommend this studio and Stas as an instructor!
Glenn Webber: Fun dancing
Meghan Lynch: I have taken a handful of ballroom dances lessons in Massachusetts and other spots around the USA, and Q Ballroom is hands down the absolute best. Every staff member is wonderful and the instructors are equally passionate and insanely talented. This is your best option for a ballroom studio if you are looking to take classes just for fun, to become a competitive ballroom dancer, or to learn some basic skills for your wedding first dance. If you are about to get married you have the option of taking a private lesson or participating in one of their wedding workshops! I absolutely love Stas's teaching style and Q Ballroom's tiered level system so you can keep improving & taking classes in a group setting with all new steps. I have completed Level 5 & Level 6 so far and plan to be back again as soon as my musical theatre show season finishes up or aligns with the class schedule. Q Ballroom is the best of the best and I can't recommend them enough!
Monire Jalili: Great place to fall back in love with dancing.
Harrison James (Htrom): Boston Swing Central is awesome! Thank you for running these events!!
Daniel Peralta: Me encanta este lugar para prácticas de tango
Kris C.: Despite the crowded location, Q Ballroom was a great studio for my fiancee and I to take private lessons for our upcoming wedding. We worked with Helle who was super helpful and friendly. In 5 lessons we felt prepared! But all of the instructors we encountered oozed experience and professionalism. The interior is nice and clean, although during peak hours you might need to share the floor with several others as there is only a single but large space for dancing. Price wise they are comparable to other studios we looked at in the area.I highly recommend Q Ballroom and will likely return for more lessons in the future!

Sarah Coburn: Atiana is AMAZING! We laugh throughout our entire lesson and are actually progressing (despite our 4 left feet!). Her energy is contagious and she REALLY knows her stuff. I recommend Atiana and her studio to anyone that is looking to look snazzier on the dance floor-regardless of your reason! She will help you pick the best dances for you to learn and personalizes the entire process. Olga and the other staff are always very welcoming and pleasant. We stick out like sore thumbs in the group classes, but they make us feel SO comfortable and give us the guidance we need to progress! If you want a great experience that is truly beneficial in the area of dance, this is your place!

Arthur Murray Dance Studio of Weymouth: what do users think?
G M: I have been dancing with the Weymouth Arthur Murray Dance Studio for 5 years. It's been an amazing experience! I had looked for a studio that didn't require me to bring a partner and I found my dance home here. I love the classes, the parties and of course the private lessons! I highly recommend the Weymouth Arthur Murray dance studio. Between Harrison, Alex, Cassidy, Erica and Jacob - there's a solid team of people there to help you achieve your dance goals!I currently work with Harrison for my private lessons. He is a very accomplished dancer and goes out of his way for his students to feel comfortable dancing and with the curriculum. He also doesn't mind if you goof up!!! We keep trying until I get a better hang of the moves he is teaching me. He also doesn't mind breaking down the nitty gritty pieces of the moves if that's what helps you get a grasp on things. He does all of this and brings fun and smiles to the lesson.Additionally, if you call the front desk and speak to Cici or anyone else, you will get good service and with a smile you can hear over the phone!
Adrienne Turi: I always wanted to learn ballroom but didn’t have any dance experience. The instructors are amazing and the students were so welcoming that they all made it easy to jump in and start learning. I look forward to classes and lessons at Arthur Murray Weymouth for all the fun, laughs and dancing with friends!
Lorraine Le Bel: I started taking dancing lessons at Arthur Murray Weymouth to become more comfortable with social dancing. I choose this studio because of the beautiful array of Ballroom and Country Dances they offer and because of the friendly, positive, supportive and helpful atmosphere at the studio created by the staff members and students. The professional instructors are superb and will help you to reach your full potential as a dancer. I truly love being a student at Arthur Murray Weymouth and being part of such a welcoming, accepting and fun community. I always leave feeling challenged, happy and closer to my dancing goals. I highly recommend Arthur Murray Weymouth!
Kara McCormick: I started at Arthur Murray looking to dance again and restart an old hobby. I am so happy that I made the decision to join! The instructors are knowledgeable, encouraging and really tailor the experience to what your goals are as a dancer. It is an amazing community where I have made some friends and grown so much as a dancer. Everyone at the Weymouth studio is warm and welcoming. I look forward to going every week.
Marie-Christine Carvajal: It all started because of my daughter who wanted to learn dancing. How to resist dancing?!? Well, you can’t after you met the instructors at the Weymouth studio. They make you feel like you can do anything. Their kindness and professionalism make you at ease. I truly love being part of the Arthur Murray Weymouth family!
Gabrielle Carvajal-Poisson: I started ballroom dance because I wanted to be able to feel confident as a follower. Not only has the team been super supportive on this journey, I have made friends and joined an incredible community of people. Whether looking to dip your toe, get competitive, or meet new people, I recommend coming to Arthur Murray Weymouth!
Amanda Matson: Came to be more social and I have made so many friends, everyone is so nice and welcoming!
Erika Hodlin: I grew up dancing and was looking to find an excuse to get back into it when I stumbled upon Arthur Murray. I called inquiring about lessons and they called back within an hour offering a free class to test the waters. I cannot say enough about how wonderful my experience has been since! The staff are so incredibly welcoming, kind and fun to work with. I was nervous going into classes alone but the Arthur Murray team has created such a warm environment that it’s been so easy to connect with other students and push myself out of my comfort zone in terms of trying new styles and dancing with new partners. I’m thrilled I found them and highly recommend to anyone whose interested in dancing for the first time, looking to get back into dance, or trying new styles of dance. I leave the studio with a big smile and new found confidence every week 😊 seriously, go dance with Arthur Murray!
Joseph Roark: I started at AM a few months ago and it has been nothing but a positive experience. The instructors are excellent at taking a student-centered learning approach, with meticulous detail to their lesson plans to ensure you are getting the most out of your lessons. The atmosphere is always fun and the community as a whole is great to be a part of.
Margaret Flatley: We had such a great time taking dance lessons ahead of our wedding at Arthur Murray of Weymouth. The instructors and other students there were always so nice, welcoming, patient and a vibe to hang out with! Our first dance was fun, stress-free, and magic thanks to them. We made the extra trip to the Weymouth location from Boston because of a recommendation from a friend, but we are sure the other locations are just as special. Thank you to Cassidy, Erica, Harrison and everyone at Arthur Murray of Weymouth!
Sofia Tavares-Zlock: My husband and I took lessons at Arthur Murray leading up to our wedding. We were both nervous since we had never taken lessons before and felt totally out of our element. The team and community at Arthur Murray is incredibly welcoming and made us feel very comfortable. We had so much fun with our private lessons and our group classes. We treated it as a date night and had so so much fun! They helped us feel comfortable on the dance floor and prepared for our first dance. We kept the dance a surprise from our family and friends and everyone was so surprised and wowed by our dance. It was one of our favorite parts of the night. It was so so special and we've been able to use what we've learned at other weddings. Thank you Arthur Murray!
FATMATA SESAY: I just love all the teachers at Arthur Murray dance studios in Weymouth! Dancing is something I have always enjoyed wether my African dancing or club dancing or whatever the form I enjoy dancing. It’s a time when I can forget all my worries whatever they may be and simply live in the moment and enjoy myself while getting a much needed exercise without thinking of the fact that am exercising! I joined this studio this past January as a spur of the moment kind of thing in my quest of doing things I always wanted to do but never had the chance to try. I set and cancelled when I got cold feet but eventually was able to sign up and Cassidy was my dance instructor. She is one of the most fun and energetic instructors I have ever had the pressure of meeting. She made dancing fun and her energy and excitement is contagious! I love her ballroom waltz and east coast swing lessons! She later introduced me to my now permanent teacher, Harrison. He is a wonderful teacher and a great listener! I am a single mom and although I love dancing, it’s not the cheapest hobby and sometimes I struggle about how am going to afford it. However thanks to him he was able to work with others in the team to make it work for me. Although I don’t get to dance 1:1 lesson every week, I get to do it every 3 or so weeks while still having access to the group dances and doing something I enjoy. I often show up and first thing I say is Harrison this is it I’m going to quit this I can’t afford it. He never gets mad or annoyed. He just listens to me rant and he will give his suggestions next think I’ll be happily saying see you next week! I love his line dancing lessons always so exciting snd fun! He helps me try to refine all the rough edges of my dancing and am looking forward to see how far my dancing will go under is wonderful guidance! I have also had Erika not as my 1:1 teacher but as one of the instructions in the group classes. She is very good at what she does and is a wonderful dancer as well. Love her salsa lessons amongst other classes as she’s easy to follow and very patient. Melissa is another great teacher who simply enjoys her job! I love her classes and especially enjoy the classes where we walk on turns! I always feel so graceful (when not tripping on my own feet)! Nick is another talent I have had the pressure of attending his dance lessons. He has such a wonderful voice and makes dancing so energetic and fun! I especially enjoy his tango dance lessons!! Even when am stumbling over my own feet I find myself laughing rather than embarrassed in his classes! Then there is Kristen , another fun instructor! I go to her class feeling like an odd duck and leave feeling like a swan! She works on styling and making dances look sexy snd it’s been really fun trying out the different movements and poses that can make such a difference in a dance! All in all Arthur Murray dance studio in Weymouth really has awesome instructors who really enjoy their jobs snd make everyone feel at ease and have a great time! It’s one of the highlights of my week and something I look forward to every week with glee and anticipation to see what my brilliant snd fun instructors are going to cook up for us their students!! I wish I had money so I can buy them the biggest thank you gives but I don’t. Instead I what to sincerely thank them all for the position energy they bring to my life and putting up with me even when I seem to be stuck in the awkward stage of dancing! It’s been a fun journey sand I look forward to exploring all the wonderful dances they offer. Thank you all and happy teachers week to each and everyone of them!! Fatmata
Shelley Devane: I never thought in a million years that I would be able to dance. I alwayswanted to, and have missed out for years and years at parties, clubs, weddings as I would always sit it out. NOW I WILL DANCE!!! I thank the professional dance instructors at Arthur Murray. They are extremely talented . It is an honor to be able to work with them. A dream come true.
Joseph Bognanno: The staff at Arthur Murray Weymouth are motivated and fun, yet highly professional. I always wanted to learn to dance, but I never had the confidence to try. I was able to learn at my own pace while the instructors challenged me to get out of my comfort zone . I highly recommend this studio for those wanting to learn to dance and enjoy a social outlet, as well.
Dellarita Gaskins: I was introduced to this hidden gem on the South Shore by a Nift gift certificate offering 2 complimentary dance classes. Surprisingly, my instructor was the owner, Kristen, who is a sweet, kind-hearted encourager. I was doubtful that she would be able to turn my two left feet into the proper form to follow any dance steps, however, she knew the right words to use to guide me through a challenging process. Her guidance along with instructors; Melissa, Nick, Cassidy and Erica have turned those two left feet into a work of art, lol. These great instructors have each afforded me their individualized expertise which along with the tidbits I receive from their awesome students has built much needed confidence on the dance floor- thank you all! especially Nift, without that certificate Weymouth AM would have remained hidden. So whether you want to dance, exercise, have fun meeting a new family of friends, or all of the above this is the place, the "No Judgement, just Encouragement Zone" come on down!
Joe Allen: Great place and a lot of fun to learn lessons from!
patricia wilkinson: Positive:ProfessionalismExcellent professional dance instruction for all levels in covid compliant atmosphere that is friendly and inspiring. Plus SO much fun while learning new steps ,styles and exercising!
Norman R. Guivens, Jr.: I started dancing through a ballroom dance club while in college 45 years ago, so I speak with a lot of experience when I say that EVERYTHING is very, very right at this ballroom dance studio. Kristen, the principal owner, and Melissa, the Studio Manager, run the studio very professionally, and they rank among the most capable teachers with whom I have ever worked -- which is very important to me as an advanced student -- but I also notice that many of the new students are developing a strong foundation very quickly that will enable them to develop their dancing skills. There's also a fantastic energy and camaraderie among the students, so studio parties and other events are always a lot of fun. It's also very exciting to see many beginners come in, find that their lessons are a lot of fun (as well as good exercise), and decide to join the studio's Medalist program to continue to develop their dancing skills!
Jacqueline Monteiro: Adding to my first review of Arthur Murray Weymouth from 3 years ago. My decision to learn to dance is still one of the best decisions I ever made. Further, the professional, talented, patient staff at AM are still there. Creating an inclusive, supportive environment for all students.Given the pandemic, it is important to note that the staff has established procedures to keep everyone safe and healthy. These actions have enabled the personal learning, community spirit, and positive energy to continue to grow and get stronger.Today, more than ever, we all face additional stresses and challenges. As remedy, put a little joy in your life, try dancing!
Philip ODwyer: I love to dance and I have danced many years and even in different countries and I want to say that the Arthur Murray Weymouth Dance Studio is an all round brilliant and excellent place to learn and enjoy Ballroom and Latin dancing! The location in South Weymouth is just minutes from the Route 3 motorway and then loads of parking right outside the front door. It is a brand new building and very well designed for teaching dancing. But the news gets even better once you step inside as you immediately feel you have entered the world of dance, the music is always playing and your hectic, stressful, life stays behind you at the door and now the good feel of dancing and music and excellent staff and students, consumes you into a feeling of total happiness and motivates dance achievement and fulfillment. There are no clocks on the walls as time stands still as you enjoy the dancing and it is the medium of the music, that is always playing, that cues you your dance detail.Arthur Murray Weymouth is one happy place and this is so because of the excellent staff, each one as good as the next and yes, absolutely the best dance teachers you will ever meet.Special thanks to the studio for keeping the dancing going all through the pandemic, first virtually through zoom and then opening back up promptly and always safe and strictly following the guidelines of the Board Of Health.I always feel safe there and so loving the fun. It’s a very forward thinking and creative studio and the staff and students just last month produced the blockbuster dance murder, mystery, movie, “Whodunnit?”, the experience of a lifetime and the creation and production of the brilliant studio director, Melissa Friebe.Melissa’s signature is all over the success and continued growth of Arthur Murray Weymouth.A special and sincere shout out and thanks to the staff and Kristen the owner and also an instructor and then instructors Harrison, Erica, Cassidy, Nick, studio director and lead instructor Melissa and then my favourite dance dude and partner in crime Matthew, who, from afar, still makes it happen!POD.
Maria Burke: Arthur Murray dance studio in Weymouth is such an amazing studio. The instructors are wonderful, patient and kind and very skilled. Beautiful dancers and are so happy to share their dancing knowledge in a way that you can incorporate into your own dancing. My dancing journey started three years ago. I always wanted to take dance lessons and finally found the courage to start on my own. My goal was to dance a tango to the best of my ability. I danced my first solo tango at the end of my first year in the Marriot ballroom and even though I was terrified!! I did it with the incredible support of the Arthur Murray family. Since I have started dancing , my posture and self confidence have improved which has spilled over to other areas of my life in a very positive way. I am so grateful to Kristen (Owner) Melissa (manager) Nick, Marquis who are all excellent teachers.
