Dig Time: Service is very questionable. We ordered drinks and just never received them. Sat for about 30 minutes. The young female bartender is very rude and not someone you want to interact with on a personal or professional level. Highly don’t recommend as there are a score of other places to go in the area for drinks. Wings were also dry as well.

Jaye Aster Broder: A go-to college pub, Grendel’s has a nice half-priced food happy hour from 5-7pm when you also order a drink. Grendel’sIs normally busy and a little loud. There are stairs down to enter. While in the basement, there are some windows that let light in. There is a moderate selection of beers on tap and cans as well as some simple cocktails. I would probably discourage large groups from coming here as it can be tough to find a table.

If Mal is on bar, get a green tea shot (Note: it contains alcohol), it is extremely tasty. Best part, it's tasty for any palette; it's not too sweet, not too sour/bitter, great complexities, and absolutely delicious flavour profile. Yummy! Food was still good and I’ve had great service all the other times I’ve been here. Burgers are always amazing. Can’t imaging they have ever messed up a burger. They seem to know what they are doing.

I came here with an enormous group and we stayed way too long and yet our waitress was kind and gracious.Their homemade veggie burgers are DOPE. The people I was with all raved about their food, also. They also serve an impossible burger. The drinks are fun and strong.

Ella Batty: I basically never leave reviews but feel compelled to do so here. I've never had such a bad customer service experience as at this restaurant. My partner and I have been coming for years and generally love this restaurant. He tried something new tonight, a lamb pizza which was advertised to have roast lamb and arugula. It was awful, with no arugula and minced lamb (imagine saying something had steak and giving ground beef). We very politely returned it (which we have never done), but the main problem was the resulting customer service from our waiter. He was incredibly rude. We asked what else we could order that would come relatively quickly (not asking it to be comped or anything) and he said "only a salad" in a very angry tone. He also said he hoped we found something else to eat tonight, again in a very rude tone. He never once apologized in any capacity and smirked at us. Everyone at the table was frankly stunned at how he was behaving.

Shqiponja Kuka: Our server was terrible. Burger 2/10Came on a Thursday because I heard great things about the burgers. Kitchen staff cannot cook to specific temperature. And the grill must be dirty because the well done burger came out with a black burnt crust a quarter inch thick. No one came to ask how our food was after they dropped it off. I had to wave down the server to show him how terribly burnt the burger was and he didn’t care. Not going to get into the story but The Haven should fire that server. He was a dope. Never returning.

A big recommendation for the wild boar pigs in a blanket and the creme brûlée in addition to the fish and chips and burger staples. The scotch list is top notch. If you're looking for something special or to try something really unique, order their private label scotch. It's one of the best bottles I've ever had. Even though the food and drink are incredible, the service is even better. On a recent night, we needed to find a location for a party of 22 at the last minute for an event. The owner made it happen, and made it happen with style. His service team was top notch, knowledgable and professional. Worth the trip any night, but also check out their special events and Dram nights for something special. This is the kinda place worth becoming a regular at.Vegetarian options: A number of vegetarian options including a vegetarian burger option, pizza options, and a surprisingly great veggie curry.Parking: super easy parking in a lot with plenty of spaces

London Management: Weirdly unexpected Scottish ambience, food and vibe tucked away in this quiet Boston suburb. This place could literally be an Edinburgh bar tucked off the Royal Mile (one of the classy ones, not the tourist trap ones).If, like me, you are missing a little taste of the UK... this is a breath of fresh air in the Boston restaurant/bar scene.

Brendan Chen: Been coming here for 3 years. Really good neighborhood pub with a mix of local Cambridge residents/families and Harvard students. Very very generous portions and the service is really good. They have on two separate occasions actually messed up my order where they gave me sweet potato fries instead of regular shoestring...and then just gave me my shoestring fries on the house! Their drink menu is very good and their sangria is top notch. Even if I move out of the area, will likely come back to eat here
