CHA Obstetrics and Gynecology Center at Cambridge: what do users think?
TOBY BUTLER: Horrible staff, what’s the point in going to a hospital if they are going to treat you like a child and make fun of you for something you cannot control. it’s like the staff got their certificates from a cereal box.
Syd RL: I had an IUD placed by PP a few years ago and had a terrible experience- I had a lot of pain and the provider cut the strings too short. I went to CHA to get it removed and replaced, and it was much better than I had hoped. The provider talked me through the steps that would happen if she couldn’t find the strings. She used enough anesthetic and had great technique and repeatedly checked in about my pain level. I had to reschedule my appointment at the last minute and they fit me in for the same day and didn’t act like they were in a rush or I was inconveniencing them.
Jane Maksimik: Terrible service, terrible waiting time to get an appointment even when you have an urgent case. They still offer you only a Televisit which can be scheduled only in a month and which doesn't make sense at all. I will immediately be changing the organization.
Rachel: Not sure why others have given such poor ratings. I think they are making judgements based on one time interactions. I have been a CHA patient since 2005, and most recently entrusted my pregnancy care here. Not only have I received excellent medical care, my entire experience from admins to nurses, to labs, to Doctors and communications has been friendly, warm, and supportive, not just in the past 9 months, but over the last 15 years. I love the easy access to my Doctors and Nurses through the online portal, and get a lot of my questions answered there quickly.Through out this Covid pandemic, I have continued to receive excellent, excellent, care despite my long time OBGYN being temporarily re-assigned to cover Covid patients instead. Many hospitals in the area had to pull surgeons and other Nurses and Doctors as all-hands-on-deck was needed to tackle the Covid pandemic surge, including mine and reallocate them to Covid front. Despite all this I have so received excellent care! Thank you CHA!
Julia Hayden: DO NOT GO HERE. If you want professionalism, medical results relayed to you in realistic time frames, and a facility that respects you as a patient, THIS IS NOT THE PLACE. The staff here has owed me information from my procedure for over a week now and despite multiple phone calls made, I have yet to hear from them. They have been giving me the work around since last week and refuse to provide me with any information, only taking messages and saying “they’ll follow up”. LITERALLY GO ANYWHERE ELSE. They are not worth your time or money and shouldn’t be practicing medicine due to their lack of respect. Women’s health should not be an area of neglect!!
Fabina DEMEDEIROS: If you are pregnant and care about your baby's health and your !!AVOID that hospital ,I had the worst experience with Dr Jackson a obstetrician, we could notice she has no much experience!!Just repeated everything rhat the nurse had said. She just focus in how bad things can turn when u pregnancy. She really shouldn't work as a obstetrician. And the woman at the lab were taking a NapWhile one Girl was working on answer the phone, printing labels and collecting Material. She got mad because the poor girl had to interrupt her NAP time.I couldn't believe what I saw
Wendy Chacon: It's been a great And outstanding patient care. I'm truly grateful for everything. 🙏🏼

Fresh Pond Women’s Health: what do users think?
Hailey B: My mom has been coming here since she was pregnant, and I've been coming since I was a teen. One of the doctors (who's now retired) delivered me. Smart, kind healthcare professionals! A safe space.
Patricia Kelly: I have been a patient of Fresh Pond Women's Health since the birth of my daughter 15 years ago. You will not find a more caring, compassionate, and cooler nurse practitioner then Carol Tallon. She is a treasure. I would recommend her to my own daughter.
Ultra Mundane**: Awful experience with Nicole today. No help whatsoever, told me to go to an unethical practice for my issues and told me there was nothing they can do. And I know that’s not true. I can’t believe they wasted my time like that.
Emily Greenspan: Dr. Carol Tallon is absolutely incredible! So warm and friendly, and she genuinely cares about her patients. All the staff there are so helpful.
Amanda Villagran: I see Carol and Dr. Cruickshank, they are so kind and caring. I had a high-risk pregnancy and it had a lot of ups and downs. They were with me every step of the way. The nurse Kelly is absolutely amazing! She went above and beyond for me. Jane the receptionist was also so helpful. All the medical assistants I saw we great especially Beulah. I am so excited to work with them again.
Daniela: I am so happy with this clinic. My doctor is Dr. Finkle and the nurse who usually helps me with things whatever it is I need is Nurse Kelly R. They make me feel comfortable and like they care about me, my pregnancy and my twin babies that I am carrying. They are so responsive and knowledgeable too! I have had a pleasant experience with all the other staff members that I have come in contact with as well! :)
M.J. K.: Today I came up from Cape Cod for an appt with Carol. I didn’t want to have to come up during my summer vacation but I found out I was pregnant and when I called to make an appt the secretary told me I needed to be seen between 8 and 10 weeks and since I am 10 weeks I decided to make it work.I came up with my husband and four children, and on the way we told the kids they were going to have another little baby brother or sister and they were so excited! We told them we would go to a celebration dinner after I had my appointment to find out the due date.Unfortunately we hit some traffic due to construction getting from Newton to Belmont and it made us 15 minutes late. I apologized when we got there and explained that we had come from so far over vacation and that I was told I had to be seen this week, but they refused to see me. I was told I have to reschedule after coming all that way with my family so excited. I told them I wanted to speak with Carol who is so kind and would never turn me away knowing I had come from so far, but it turns out she left early even though she was supposed to be in an appt with me at that time.Dr. Cruikshanks delivered my son, and Carol was with me every step of the way, so to say that I am hurt to be treated so coldly and poorly is an understatement. The receptionists there have terrible client service and in fact lied to me and said she was with another patient when Carol had in fact left. They lack professionalism and common decency. I would not recommend this office to anyone, I would say to look for a place who really cares about each and every client, especially returning clients. I would say look to find a doctor and an office who values what they do. Delivering someone’s baby is not a just a business, you never forget your experience with any of the births of your children and you deserve to make sure it will be great from start to finish.
Cassie G: Everyone here is great. The receptionists are kind and helpful. I mostly saw Carol and Dr. Cruikshanks, and I am so happy with my care there. Carol really takes time to listen and answer all the questions you can think of. Dr. Cruikshanks is very down to earth and pragmatic, she was the perfect doctor for me. Nurse Meghan is very responsive to emails (I love that feature!). I delivered at Mount Auburn and it was a good experience. I am sad to have moved away. There is plenty of parking but the spaces are small. The facility is clean and cozy.
Lauren Lasker: Fresh Pond is great! Nothing but positive experiences (GYN and OB both) with NP Carroll Tallon and Dr. Yehezkel.
Sophie Wondolowski: I feel very taken care of, doctors and nurses are so compassionate and knowledgeable.
Cassandra Sherman: Decent women's doctors, will continue here. I see Carol Tallon and she's really sweet and nice. I've seen others here as well and they've all been good. I can't talk to the previous review but I'm pretty used to getting women's checkups and sometimes you just feel emotional, which isn't the doc's fault. I have experienced good and bad receptionists but I really don't care what mood they're in as long as everything goes relatively smoothly. I imagine that being a difficult job with a lot of difficult patients. It would be nice if they had later office hours since it's hard to make an appointment and/or discuss women's issues when you're on your lunch break or at work without privacy.
Nozomy Aoyama: I have moved out of this area and glad that I don't need to return to this place.I chose this place that was only because it was the closest in-network clinic. I had just moved to the US and did not know very much about the US health system, but you got to do research before you make an appointment, and I hope my review would help you.The receptionist girls were terrible, I said in the past tense because it was improved in 2 years. I think someone brave complained about them, and they got all fired (at least I didn't see them after a while), and now new girls are sitting there waiting for you. They are not the best, but they do their job much better than previous ones, give you a bit of smile and can say the word " sorry ".The nurses and technicians are good and nice there but my doctor was horrible. I don't know the other ones, some has good reviews on the review websites, so you should choose the doctors. My doctor was Jean Fechheimer, and you don't want to see her at all. She talks very softly and has smile on her face, sounds caring and nice, but when she does procedures, she does everything very rough! You know, Gynecologists deal with the feminine area, it is sensitive and need to be " handled with care. " I saw several doctors before, had pap tests, and had never thought it was painful or uncomfortable. However I thought she stubbed me with the Q-tip and after that she touched me like she was making a bread dough or something. it was just rough and it was hard to hold my mourning. From my experience, I did not want to see her again. So after a year, another appointment, I asked one of the rude receptionists to chance my doctor to another one, but what a surprise, when the door was open, Dr. Fechheimer was there with a kind of creepy smile. I was almost fainted because I swear to god, I didn't want the rough job again on me.And again, after a year, I asked the other one of those rude receptionists again to change my doctors, and you know the ending, I saw Dr. Fechheimer again.I don't want you to experience this. Do not see the doctor if you don't want to feel like you are raped.

Mount Auburn Hospital - Center For Women: what do users think?
Trina Dinnar: My journey with this facility began in June of 2021. From day one, the office staff was mediocre at best. Scheduling was time-consuming and response time was slow or non-existent. However, Dr. Mackenzie has an impeccable reputation as an endometriosis excision specialist and it is only for that reason that I dealt with the terrible staff there and remained persistent in order to receive his care. I would rate the office staff one star if I could. Dr. M, on the other hand, is the best specialist in the field in New England. It was worth a 15 month wait to have surgery with him. For anyone looking to have surgery with him, be prepared to call the office repeatedly to get anything done. Much patience is needed, but in the end, Dr. M's care is worth it!!!
Elio Maggini: Once seen the care is acceptable. However, we have never been seen even close to on-time. Which is understandable but they should AT LEAST give feedback on how long the backlog is.....waiting an hour past our appointment with 6 other couples shoulder-to-shoulder is just not acceptable at any time and definitely not during The Apocalypse Part II.
Renée Ọmọladé: I’ve had three children with the midwives who are knowledgeable, friendly, and supportive.
Katherine Harrison: Do not come here. I had an IUD put in at this office and about a year and a half later, had some unexpected bleeding (like a murder scene amount of blood) so they sent me to get an ultrasound in the hospital. The ultrasound revealed that the IUD had embedded in my uterus which I had been warned was an uncommon but very serious condition. It wasn’t yet fully puncturing through, but if that were to happen it could be an emergency situation. The office staff and nurses I spoke to were EXTREMELY blasé about it. When I called to make the appointment to have it removed I couldn’t even get through to a receptionist until the next day when they finally called me back. The receptionist acted like I was having a routine removal and said nothing was available for a month. I had to repeatedly insist that this was just shy of an emergency and that this was noted in my chart. She made it very clear that she had no idea the severity of my situation and hadn't opened the notes the nurse left. Essentially I was left in a situation where I had to wait for them to get organized and get me an appointment or wait for the IUD to fully pierced through my uterus causing significant damage and bleeding so I could go to the hospital.
Maureen Curreri Collier: In reply to the woman, who stated the front desk crew were unhelpful and rude. This couldn't be more far from the truth! Nicole and all the ladies knock themselves out for patients, no matter how busy or stressful their day may be.....they are GREAT! Thank you ladies!
L: Horrible customer service!
Hannah Joyce: I am a patient of Dr. M and have had surgery with him for endometriosis. I cannot recommend him and his staff enough! They have given me the best care and significantly increased my quality of life. Kind, caring, compassionate, knowledgeable, professional are a few ways to describe Dr. M and his entire team!
Elena m: They had me reschedule a couple of times due to lack of availability of the NP. I had a quick and easy Telehealth call with Carol, but the day before I was scheduled for my procedure, my appointment changed time and provider. When I arrived for my actual appointment, the staff were all friendly and welcoming. Dr. Cruickshanks performed the IUD insertion and was very quick and gentle. Overall good experience, but be prepared to change appointment date or time. While inconvenient at times, the office is good with communication and I was able to get in on time every visit.
James Stockwell: Exalent
Leslie Wang: The midwives are fantastic and make you feel cared for and heard. I don’t think that people should rate this practice based on the front desk staff. I totally trust the midwives to deliver my baby in the safest way possible.
Akilah Stith: Friendly staff.
Jennifer Rykerson: Try to book an appointment called 4 times, the 4 times put me on hold. I said I am having a terrible pain and say she did not care she still did not have an appointment. Very bad customer service .
Mapenzi Raha: The front desk representatives are very unprofessional, rude and useless . No point of making appointment because of how busy they are especially after noon appointments. . . 2:00pm - 4pm one hour or two in the waiting area... Saturday appointment just don’t do it. They ask you to come 15 minutes early for no reason don’t do it. This place will give y’all the worst experience ever be prepared bring snacks and anything to keep you calm. I hope this helps you
Krystin Rines: Love my midwife!
Bob: They wont call or email you an appointment confirmation - really a ridiculous policy.
Melissa Barros: SUPER RUDE STAFF...They’re the first people you speak to as you approach the front desk and I just can’t believe how rude they are. It’s a shame because the midwives and medical assistants are extremely polite and helpful.
Weiqi Yang: I recently visited Mount Auburn Hospital- center for women for my routine OB visit. I was scheduled to have my 5 month ultrasound test. I showed my health insurance information to the front desk staff before the test and the nurse helped me order the ultrasound test. However, I was charged with an out-of-network lab test bill. I have contacted the office manager six times so far. Finally she responded me that she didn't know my insurance information. She said that there were over 800 different insurance companies and she indicated that it was my insurance's fault that it didn't cover this lab test. She also said that she couldn't submit an appeal for me because this was not her bill. However, I gave my insurance information the first time I visited the center and they should figure out which lab was in-network or out-of-network before sending the test. They should not send a patient test a random lab without checking the insurance coverage and let the patients suffer additional bills. The front desk staff is rude and unhelpful. The only good thing is that OB is nice.
Daisy Opanga: Love this hospital quick and get information you need right away very clean and nice hospital!!!

Mount Auburn Hospital Women's Health Clinic: what do users think?
Anthony Terranova: Dr. Nathan Price was great, but the lab lady who took my blood was rude. I told her the last time I got blood drawn it was a really bad experience and she just went off and said, "What do you want me to do? What do you want me to say? If you don't want to get blood drawn then don't, I have to do my job too." How about "it will be okay?" But, her rudeness helped me stay focused to get in and get out and to not wiggle so it wasn't the worst. Pretty much everyone else was nice.

Mount Auburn Practice For Women: what do users think?
Marin Bergman: If there was an option for no stars that would be a more appropriate rating. I miscarried and their level of care was nonexistent. In no way did they prepare me for the amount of physical pain I would experience, they didn’t check in on me once and they weren’t even capable of sending orders for my labs. I would never wish an experience with a practice such as this on my worst enemy.

SMG Women's Health at St. Elizabeth's Medical Center: what do users think?
Nikki Garren: I went to the Harvard St. office today for an OB intake visit, and they refused to see me because I had my baby with me. The front desk was immediately very rude, and when asked what women who do not have child care do, they weren’t able to answer. This is currently April 2022, well beyond the height of the COVID pandemic, and I know of no other medical facility right now that wouldn’t allow this. Moreover, at no point was this posted anywhere or discussed prior to the visit. It very much speaks to the patient population they are catering to, meanwhile providing no reasonable option for those who may not have full time child care. Along with their illogical and out of date policy, the extreme rudeness of the receptionists was just very off putting. I would recommend avoiding this office if you are able to.
julia kotlinska: This is terrible organized clinic! They canceled my appointment ( I was waiting for it for more then three weeks) just a couple hours before!!! An appointment was made at 4.45 pm as a new client, so they canceled it, because they closed at 5!!! So why did their system offer me only this time!?I feel very bad and need a doctor, they told me to come back in June, instead of April 11!Terrible people who don’t care about anyone! Just don’t waste your time here!
