Theo Greco: My uncle brought in a 3-gallon plastic jug full of coins, mostly non-pennies. Upon entry a female employee asked if he needed assistance and he said he wanted to exchange his coins for bills. She offered him $300 and he accepted not knowing he had at least twice that amount in coins. THAT'S UNETHICAL BANKING! She should be fired for taking advantage of an elderly person!

Destiny Flood-De Jesus: Terrible customer service. I have worked in banking many years and they for sure aren’t a bank that even meets the basic standards of customer service it’s a shame. I go here once a month to make a deposit into a landlords account and how badly I wish my landlord would switch banks. They are rude, and very slow. I actually went to the drive up today and made a deposit and this woman was short with me. And gave me back slip for competing the deposit. She said thank you . But not thank you have a good day and again now I have an attitude becuase of her attitude throughout the transaction, and she literally says WOW over the intercom. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERIVE and the faces of this bank don’t speak on behalf of their name “Peoples United bank” more like “people’s attitude bank”

Recently, Steve dropped everything to straighten out a relatively minor issue that I had with my checking account. It’s my understanding that Steve has only been with the Bank a short time but it was made very clear to me that he has a great understanding of the Enterprise culture of putting the customer first. Beryl Reid: I live in Lowell and this is my bank. The customer experience here is very personal. They know their customers and are eager to help in any way they can. The clerks and professional staff are friendly, accommodating and knowledgable. We have our checking, security box and savings here. If we need something notarized they always are glad to do it. It's like a small town bank in a city.

Nicole J: They are unable and unwilling to Verify a cashiers check made from their facility. Even the same day issued: unfortunately the tellers and the branch manager Maria were the worst people I have encountered . I’ve never felt so disrespected in my life . They refused to cash a cashiers check drawn from their branch if I am not a customer. After dealing with these two gems, I am not sure how they have any customers. When I spoke to another manager Shawn , he co-signed everything Maria stated. So moral of the story. If you have cashiers check drawn from their bank even on the same day, they do not know how to verify the check ( Maria signed it) . They are such a small bank they refuse to take the extra steps or even common courtesy to any patron, whether you have an account here or not. If you want to feel miserable then please go here. They will treat you like a panhandler with no shoes on. I am not sure how this place is still open.
Boston Mom: Horrible bank all around with the worst customer service I've ever encountered. If you need to call for any issue at all, good luck. I always seem to get the same woman and she is unbelievably rude and will talk over you and just continue to get louder until you let her speak.They seriously need to teach their staff some customer etiquette. I mean this is common sense. Something they clearly lack.Don't get me started on my debit card CONSTANTLY being blocked. You know how frustrating it is being denied when trying to pay for something knowing you have plenty of money to cover it?Bottom line, just stay away.
Stacie Casaubon: I was in today to deposit a check. The man who helped me never said a word, just waved me over. When he was done, he put the slip on the desk and continued working. I asked "Am I all set?" He said yes and barely whispered a "have a nice day." That's rude in my opinion. Was I bothering him by depositing a check?? I never even signed it....
Kevin Hagen: Customer for 5+ years; went to deposit a large check from our mortgage refinance. At first they told me they had to hold the check for 5 days. I, of course agreed, then they told me they're weren't going to cash the check unless my wife also came in with an ID; turning me away with a very large check. This was the final straw in a long line of poor customer service, many technical glitches, and poor travel service. People expecting a high level of customer advocacy, quality service, and quality online banking BEWARE!

T W: If you care about timely mobile deposits for your business or online banking, look literally anywhere else. Every couple of weeks, their website just decides to boot your devices out and not let you break back into your own account without contacting them by phone during their business hours (when you’re using the correct information/password). Their advice is usually “delete the cookies” like it’s 1997 and when you do, still nothing works and they have to reset your account manually. This bank has a long way to go to match any other competitors in the 21st century. Been meaning to for a long time and just didn’t want to deal with the hassle, but canceling this account asap
jason tevepaugh: I just recently lost my ATM card and I went into the Washington Savings in Lowell. They were quick and efficient with the most friendly staff. Every time I walk in I am Treated very well and will always use them for banking. Thank you again for the A1 service.

Ami Shah: They do not do what they promise. They promise high interest rate on checking account and their interest amount differs every month even though amount in the account is the same. No one has a clue why is that. Many times they make it super hard to login to on line account so you have no clue what is going on with your account. They have only two branches so if it is far from you please do not open up an account.For Certain transactions they want you to go down to the bank personally.

Chris: Lowell Five is such a great bank to do business with. I am self employed and did a mortgage with them back in 2012. Many of the "larger" banks could not work with my self employed financials, and Lowell Five was not only able to help, but came through quickly and with better rates!! The process was seamless. Recently, with business setbacks due to covid regulations, etc... I needed some assistance. Lowell Five was there to help. I cannot thank them enough. Special Thanks goes to Donna and the executive team!! I highly recommend doing business with a local bank vs the “giants”. Definitely check into Lowell Five for your next loan/banking needs!!

And . They said that we have to come to the branch to do anything.I also explained to them that my Father works .In BurlingtonThat it takes 40 minutes to get to Lowell because of traffic .and the traffic downtown.Basically they didn't care . The hours say 5pm.They told me 4pm .I asked them if they could fix the time on Google .She said they are not going to fix the time .So looks like we might be closing out to the account today .
