Peter Ryan and Son Roofing, Inc.: We have done business with EBSB for the last several years. We have a business account and conduct business with this particular branch quite frequently as our company is located in Wakefield. The staff and service is second to none in my opinion. I have had accounts at other banks and never received the level of service I have with this branch. Lacey truly is a gem, as she is always so pleasant, knowledgeable, efficient and quick to help with whatever we need. In fact, they have even helped in the growth of our business. Twice, to date, we were chosen as business of the month, where we were afforded the opportunity to set up a display at the bank, which gave us added exposure to local residents and businesses within our own community. Recently we asked for help determining which reward credit card would be best for our general contracting company. Lacey was extremely helpful as always, explaining different options and we now have a card that gives added benefits we never had prior. Susan the branch manager is welcoming and always pleasant to speak with. Whenever I make a deposit w/a Teller, I go to Tim (if he's available) who is also friendly, welcoming and a pleasure to do business with. It is comforting to know our bank/branch is a team of knowledgeable, efficient and pleasant familiar faces, eager to do what is best for us, rather than just another institution offering a service.
William J. Snell, III: East Boston Savings Bank office in Wakefield is staffed by knowledgeable and friendly bankers. It is like a small bank that knows all its customers, with the resources of a larger regional bank. I have been helped willingly and most professionally every time I have had a question or a banking problem.

Recently, Steve dropped everything to straighten out a relatively minor issue that I had with my checking account. It’s my understanding that Steve has only been with the Bank a short time but it was made very clear to me that he has a great understanding of the Enterprise culture of putting the customer first. Leonard Bampikaho: Have been to this branch several times and they were nice except for yesterday when I went in and cashed my check. Later after I had left one of the bills turns out to be counterfeit, the next day I go back and these guys cannot help refund my money even after verifying that indeed I had been there the previous day and indeed the bill was among what was given to me. They claim that once a customer leaves the bank, its done, they can't come back to claim counterfeit money given to them. We all go to Banks and get cash that we trust to be good because we trust that they verify the bills before accepting them, how would I have known that it would turn out to be counterfeit??? Am very disappointed with this branch, they just took away my weekly shopping money.... I can't even think of opening an account with this bank and definitely would never reccommend to any of my friends.

Theo Greco: My uncle brought in a 3-gallon plastic jug full of coins, mostly non-pennies. Upon entry a female employee asked if he needed assistance and he said he wanted to exchange his coins for bills. She offered him $300 and he accepted not knowing he had at least twice that amount in coins. THAT'S UNETHICAL BANKING! She should be fired for taking advantage of an elderly person!

Destiny Flood-De Jesus: Terrible customer service. I have worked in banking many years and they for sure aren’t a bank that even meets the basic standards of customer service it’s a shame. I go here once a month to make a deposit into a landlords account and how badly I wish my landlord would switch banks. They are rude, and very slow. I actually went to the drive up today and made a deposit and this woman was short with me. And gave me back slip for competing the deposit. She said thank you . But not thank you have a good day and again now I have an attitude becuase of her attitude throughout the transaction, and she literally says WOW over the intercom. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERIVE and the faces of this bank don’t speak on behalf of their name “Peoples United bank” more like “people’s attitude bank”

Lakhana Phin: It's unfortunate that it's not possible to give zero stars because that's what this location absolutely deserves. I was considering Enterprise as a banking institution but I will be taking my business elsewhere. My financial institution doesn't have a brick and mortar location in the area and Enterprise's threshold for processing OTC transactions is higher than most other banks in the area. With that, I went to this location out of convenience due to proximity and their banking policy related to customers that are with other financial institutions.No customer should ever be subjected to judgment by any agent processing a transaction. The agent asked me highly inappropriate questions that I felt were extremely judgmental and not in any way related to the transaction whatsoever - the series of questions were asked AFTER the transaction was already completed. I can't believe I was told that these questions are "common practice" by Enterprise or let alone by any respected financial institution - questions I've never been asked by any other financial institution EVER. This is just smoke and mirrors for the employees to profile certain customers. How shameful.Response to the owner: As I stated in my original review above, the series of questions that were asked of me were completely off base - they had nothing to do with validating that it was a legitimate transaction/ detecting fraud/safeguarding customers' interests. Please do not justify your agents unprofessional behavior.
Dave: The landscaping there is horrible. They're constantly blowing piles of dirt and debri into the road towards (at) traffic! They should find other means to clean the area.
