It's very close to cool coffee shops (Brew'd awakening) and overlooks the canal system in Lowell. Josiah Dykstra: Solid C for effort... they're really trying. Owned and operated by the University means they lack name-brand polish. The ICC is also a dorm (note: guests are not allowed to use the campus shuttle). Breakfast is skimpy with bagels, yogurt, and coffee. The bar served only pizza and hamburgers with a bartender who kept apologizing for it. Had to call the front desk after midnight for excessive noise in the hallway.

Lizzy Dabczynski-Bean: No one was at the front desk to check us in despite having a reservation. Sign said no one would be in the front desk til 7am….what? Spent hours at 1am calling other hotels all of which were booked for a long weekend. Ended up paying $500 for ine night, a room 30 minutes away. I got a refund from uMass Lowell Inn but no one acknowledged the issue or made any kind of apology or took ownership of the situation. And we were our $500 and all the wasted time and energy. 👍

Adriana DiIorio: Victoria was awesome! We had an issue with Priceline themselves and she resolved it for us quickly, and was so incredibly kind our entire visit. The hotel is beautiful and we were on the first floor and had a little patio overlooking the river! It was so great to be able to open a sliding door to the outside from our room. They have complimentary breakfast with bagels, danish, yogurt, fruit, and Starbucks coffee and tea with options to eat in a big dining room with windows overlooking the river or a space with a fireplace and comfortable chairs. The rooms were very clean. Will definitely stay here again.

CJ D: Lived here for 2 years so far and my only complaint is the security for delivered packages for apartment residents is lacking. I am not sure if the instructions from management to the carriers are not clear or the problem is with the carriers but it seems like every carrier has a problem securing packages once they are delivered. It's very common to see packages torn open and ransacked in the lobby or to have your packages outright stolen. Other than that, this is a lovely place to live.

The view is amazing especially during sunset, whenever I have friends or family over they love the brick walls and compliment the high ceilings! Overall great place really friendly workers and people!

Grace Hansen: My friends and I recently moved into the Boott Mills in Lowell, MA. We absolutely love it here and could not be happier. The rooms are very spacious and we love the exposed brick on the walls. It is EXCEPTIONALLY clean, which we really appreciate. The kitchen is user friendly with lots of storage and room to cook. We love the open concept with the floor plan. The bathrooms are spacious and work well.The staff here is super friendly! They welcomed us here right away and made us feel at home. The gym is also very nice and allows room to get a great workout in.The area around the Boott Mills could not be nicer. There is a wonderful river walk right behind the building which is perfect for walks or runs.We love the Boott Mills and highly recommend living here!

Melissa brought about a professionalism and transparency to all aspects, raising the standards of service that the management provided to us residents.

The management staff and maintenance personnel are responsive, kind, and willing to help. Melissa, in particular, has been super helpful and informative in terms of any issues that come about, answering any questions we’ve had, and checking in to make sure our experience is always great. I would definitely recommend living here.

The staff is helpful and attentive, Melissa in the leasing office is amazing and is very prompt, polite, and always willing to solve any issue we've had, no matter how crazy! Meagan is also absolutely wonderful and it's great knowing that they're both there in case of any issues.

Walter Norton: I think the boot mills is a great place to live Melissa and the maintenance staff are on top of anything that needs to be taken care of inside and outside of the building. The apartments are really nice. I personally think it's a great place to live and would recommend living here to anyone looking for a nice place to live to try out an apartment at the boot mills

Dennis Tarwood: I lived here for four years (2015-2019). The apartments are gorgeous and central to downtown Lowell; I regularly walked to shopping, groceries, restaurants, and entertainment. The staff is attentive, communicative, and flexible to your needs. (Due to travel problems, I once had to ask them to take a perishable package into my apartment and unload it into my refrigerator. They did it, no questions asked.)I recommend The Apartments at Boott Mills so highly that I tried to find a co-worker to take my apartment before I left; I wanted my former home to go to someone I knew would love it.

Michael Venetti: I've lived here for over a year and can't say enough good things about the building. Well maintained and beautiful apartments, maintenance always answers any issues we have quickly, and the management staff headed by Melissa is awesome. She is always kind, personable, and will make sure any issues you have are quickly taken care of. The grounds are beautiful as well with the river walk right behind the building and a nice park in front. Only a short walk from really good restaurants, night life, college hockey/auditorium, outdoor concert venue, and minor league baseball in the summer. In a quiet part of town and never worry about walking around too. Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that rent is higher than I am used to, but I'm from a less expensive part of the country. Cost is worth it for us to live here.

Amrita Singh: Update - It has been 6 months here and I have started noticing the small problems which start to trouble the daily peace of mind. The walls are really thin and there is no wall to wall carpetting. The person staying next to us keeps screaming and fighting at odd ours and we ignored it initially but it really is irritating. Not just thin walls on the sides but the ceiling too has such issues..i can absolutely hear when the person staying above me sits on their couch, drops something, or their pet dog bark. I love pets so absolutely don't mind the barking but all the noise from the above and side neighbors due to lack of thick walls is really exhausting.Old - The parking is a bit of an issue considering they are a couple of minutes walk from the apartments but the apartments are beautiful and luxurious with all amenities. Our place faces the river and its the most amazing view to wake up to. The location is perfect, close to highway and situated in downtown The office and maintenance staff is friendly and helpful.

Mitchell Roberts: Unfortunately I've decided to scrap my 5 star review 8 months later due to the mismanagement of the HVAC systems of this property. Let me be clear, this is NOT due to the maintenance team. Management refuses to replace the cooling tower resulting in random interruptions in the cooling loop in the east building. This results in bedroom and den rooms having hvac units overheat and disabling cooling loops that cool the metal meshes (for lack of a better word) that cool the air that blows into the unit. This has happened on no less than 5 occasions in the last month and a half, and it has been confirmed to be the case by other residents that are hvac technicians, onsite staff, and the actual building management themselves. You can actually hear the difference between the fans being on and the fans plus the hvac loop being on. Shame on you for making residents deal with this problem while insisting rent must be 1800+/mo while section 8 and people who I have been told are illegal aliens (yes, as in crossed the border illegally) live here for less than $80/mo. The illegal aliens likely live here for free in (units redacted) because the property owner uses them for illegal groundskeeping work (while paying them dirt cheap wages, of course).I have no interest in airing out anyones dirty laundry, but this has become an absolute joke.

We studied photos online, spoke with the friendly office staff, studied the floor plans...and crossed our fingers we had made a good choice.When we moved in, it was even better than we had hoped. We have now lived here for 4 months and it is still wonderful. We are extremely satisfied with how lovely the entire apartment is and how peaceful and beautiful the views are. In addition, we get immediate responses every time we ask the office and the maintenance team for anything. Everyone we have encountered has been friendly, professional and swift in addressing our needs. We are so happy we chose Boott Mills West and we absolutely recommend it.

Joe Damore: I deliver there everyday and the 2 front ladies always made it easy for me to do my job. They always offer coffee and water everytime I go there. They have a great set up and I look forward to stopping in everyday.
