TR Johnson (TRJ1028): This is not a motel, it’s section 8 living. It’s absolutely ridiculous! Nasty, no room service, no breakfast, no towels (unless you bring exactly the amount of towels in the room, to the office.) etc. We stayed 10 nights on business, and 6 of those nights I watched 1-2 people get either, arrested, or hauled out with overdoses. I’m leaving a video to show you what we saw the first night there.

Lawrence Light: 2nd most expensive Motel 6 ever stayed at and 1st in being the worse. Tom Bodett wouldn't leave the light on for this one! Sink plunger wouldn't work, would fill up with water. Didn't shower until the morning, discovered the knob for the water temp was broke so only scolding hot water- didn't shower. Towel rack busted down with one part still on wall sharp and jagged. I believe it's a weekly rental place as well with permanent residents. I suggest separating them from overnight guests. Bed had only one sheet, no blanket but thermostat worked well. NEVER again for this location. Motel 6 is our choice not only for comfort pricing but the doors to room being outside - easy load/unload.

Phil: The signs in the parking lot suggesting you lock your car due to increased robberies was an indication right away that I had made a poor choice in lodgings.Room had no blinds on the window, got a new room and the ac unit was leaking into a pan that had been placed under it.The staff was friendly and understanding though, and did their best to make things right.I will not be returning.

Kristina Babcock: I was charged twice for two different prices, it was supposed to be split between a friend and I, but she was also charged twice the rate we split and i was charged the split and full. Our door lock was broken which we told maintenance and it still wasn't working- ac unit was not working and maintenance came in at 1230 to try to fix and just said he would move us but it was midnight, no trash bags, no complementaries, just was told watch 3-5 days to see if it goes back.

Bonnie McCormick: If you really are concerned about cleanliness and safety, please do not stay here. I stayed here for three nights in October 2022 and was shocked to see that a best western plus was housing the homeless. They are not just hanging around…they live there now. The room I had looked like it may have been previously used as living quarters for the homeless. I appreciate that people can have issues in life, but putting them up in a hotel where you are also accommodating travellers is not the answer.

Sofia Fortune: Not at all like the pictures. Very outdated rooms, beds were doubles, not queens and the hotel looked like it was an off-site homeless shelter. Not in a very good part of town but close to where I had to go. Was tolerable for one night but prob wouldn’t stay there again.

I was not aware that this hotel houses the homeless and those on public services. Very noisy after hours, cigarette butts all over the ground outside the entrance to the "hotel"...dirty elevators and lobby, and I didn't even attempt to have the free breakfast that was included in the room I PAID for because unfortunately not everyone waiting for breakfast in the lobby looked or smelled clean. I stayed here 4 yrs ago and had no issues which is why I booked my stay again....but they will loose my business and anyone else that stays there due to the conditions and changes. They should be transparent on their website.

Vanna Bun: I booked this hotel through Priceline. I booked 2 full beds because that’s all the had available and I went back online the next day I saw that they had 2 queen available. I called the hotel and I spoke to someone who was in the front and they said yes they can change it for me but when I got there. The person I was talking to did not change my reservations. They was completely booked. I was very disappointed. The pool was also closed for renovations. The reason why we even booked this hotel was because of the pool. The room we had was very outdated and it smelled of mildew. It was like a humid room. The ac wasn’t working. I didn’t ask to change room because obviously they was booked. I called and ask for toiletries and towels and they did not bring it up. I was not happy with this hotel and I do not recommend it at all.

I received no answer nothing. when we arrived the receptionist didn‘t greet us and seemed a little annoyed when we came to check in. Rooms are big and clean, breakfast is ok. not many of the employees wear their name tags and also housekeepers didn‘t really wear their uniform either. it was hard to tell if they were from housekeeping or not. also no one really greeted us when meeting. overall we enjoyed the stay.

JG: Edit, after staying here nights I'm sadly aware the HVAC doesn't work. I complained Tuesday, but as of Thursday morning it's still crazy hot. See pic, AC was on all night. Pretty sure the set up is that the hotel can have either cooling or heating available, but not both. It's a warm February here and the sun bakes the side of building in the afternoon so the room was actually warmer before bed.Rooms are well furnished, clean, and decorated in a pleasant contemporary design. Staff is great. Bathroom is extremely well lit, something I think that is important.you can't even open the windows.

The breakfast pretty basic but you can have an omelette, fried eggs etc... at the place but they never had bacon.On the beginning I asked to order a taxi for me and they put me in troubles and stress. The taxi guy arrived in rusty old car, without any clocks and no ability to pay him with a credit card (as just arrived to USA didn't have any cash on me). The driver drove through the town instead of highway to bring me to an ATM that did not accept my bank card and didn't give a money from my Visa after entering the code, so he brought me to another one to try (which finaly worked). For the receipt he had to figure it out with his boss as i needed it for reimbursement but without clocks it was an issue too. Right! This is exactly what I needed on the morning in foreign country and going first time to my work office - slow driving through the town with unnecessary traffic, run to ATMs, receipt issues and stresing out about all of this! Not OK at all! Just asked for a taxi! The room make up is by demand only. Some day it was noisy in the corridor from kids for a long time and all is well heard in my room.Rooms: I had a big room with 2 beds + sofa. Stove, fridge, microwave, dishwasher and all you need for prepare food. Also there is a big TV, table... Very good and comfortable. However it was on the ground floor and on outside walkway small polls with bright lights will force you to close tight you blinds otherwise the room will be lit bright from outside. As well since it's ground level and big windows basically everyone passing by see you sunless, again, you close the blinds tight and therefore can't enjoy the natural daylight.Walkability: Walmart and groceries with several restaurants by walk.Noteworthy details: Pool is closed.

Vivian Rios: 5 stars just for the amazing customer service by Jess at the front desk. I just checked in, haven’t had a chance yet to even check out the room but her compassion and great attitude deserves immediate recognition. I came to check in due to power going out at my home, the same as many many others. Her system was not working properly but she still helped everyone and took care of everything with patience and grace. Making us feel at home right from walking in the door.

Jarrod Hermance: Booked a room with two beds and a sofa bed for three people for three nights about a month in advance of our stay. We received a confirmation stating it would be a total of $876. When the three of us arrived, the room we reserved was not available and the staff seemed to know nothing about our reservation. For the first night they ended up splitting us into two rooms and made us pay for this even though it's an issue with them and Marriott. When we checked out, I received an email confirmation stating that I was charged $1535 for the whole stay instead of the $876 that was on my confirmation! This better get resolved....

Mark Hernandez: I’ve checked in at this motel 6 occasionally when I travel and it’s been a pleasant stay. Alicia, Margie and Christian who all work the front desk during different shifts have been friendly, helpful and accommodating. It’s quiet so I’m able to get a good night sleep. The area is a prime location near stores, banks, restaurants and the mall.

Because we just moved to the area, we ended up staying for four nights while our rental house got approved.We got 2 rooms: a king for my husband and me and a double double for our adult children.The rooms both looked OK. The had laminate flooring, so no nasty carpet, and white duvet covers. The kids room had a vague Smokey/chemical smell, but it wasn’t horrible.Our room however reeked. It was strong stale smoke and offensive chemicals that were obviously used to try to cover up the cigarette smoke smell. I got headaches and nauseousness. It was really bad.Once we got to our house I had to wash EVERYTHING that was in the motel room — including my cat!I picked up a makeup sponge today, and the stench brought me back to that horrid experience. If there had been an option, any option, I would have left.

Josiah Dykstra: Solid C for effort... they're really trying. Owned and operated by the University means they lack name-brand polish. The ICC is also a dorm (note: guests are not allowed to use the campus shuttle). Breakfast is skimpy with bagels, yogurt, and coffee. The bar served only pizza and hamburgers with a bartender who kept apologizing for it. Had to call the front desk after midnight for excessive noise in the hallway.

Spent hours at 1am calling other hotels all of which were booked for a long weekend. Ended up paying $500 for ine night, a room 30 minutes away. I got a refund from uMass Lowell Inn but no one acknowledged the issue or made any kind of apology or took ownership of the situation. And we were our $500 and all the wasted time and energy. 👍

Adriana DiIorio: Victoria was awesome! We had an issue with Priceline themselves and she resolved it for us quickly, and was so incredibly kind our entire visit. The hotel is beautiful and we were on the first floor and had a little patio overlooking the river! It was so great to be able to open a sliding door to the outside from our room. They have complimentary breakfast with bagels, danish, yogurt, fruit, and Starbucks coffee and tea with options to eat in a big dining room with windows overlooking the river or a space with a fireplace and comfortable chairs. The rooms were very clean. Will definitely stay here again.
