Melissa Echevarria: Stayed here on a whim with my husband and we were really happy with our choice. We got a king room with a patio and the room was massive. We didn't really go outside because it was a little chilly and it rained the next morning, but it looked like a cute spot to sit and drink coffee. The extra large soaking tub/shower was really nice, and I appreciated that the toilet was in a separate room from the rest of the bathroom. They had the fireplace in the restaurant lit when we checked in and it made it smell SO good and cozy.I would say my only complaint would be that whomever was in the room above us was very noisy and walked with a heavy foot all night. And the people coming out of the bar going to their rooms were a little obnoxious, but overall it was very enjoyable and I would absolutely stay there again!
Jane Cooper: We were impressed with the staff the minute we walked in when the host/Manager made us feel at home from the first greeting. Then our waitress was amazing. Azra Villon: This Sunday, Chateau Merrimack Resort & Spa was a disappointment. At first glance, this resort seems well put together but indeed was a disaster & unorganized. I came to this property with my family on Easter, with high hopes in attending their first annual brunch but left in disbelief. From the very beginning the waitress continuously took our drink orders wrong & would take an extended amount of time to come back to our table. Lastly when the bill arrived, we were charged for our drinks when we were told multiple times by the waitress that it was an open bar. To the point that we joked about having to drive back home. When we questioned the waitress for clarification on why the drinks were priced apart, in front of the owner, the owner's solution...which he quoted "I'll send a round of mimosas to the table". In which we responded no thank you. As the owner he was very dismissive & the waitress admitted at being at fault. The minimum the owner could have done was walk over to the table, apologize & take off all or a couple of drinks. Instead, the waitress was sent over to say it was a miscommunication that she wasn't properly told. Again, not our fault. As a business with 4 stars, I would expect better service, as well as a professional owner. Let this be a learning lesson for the future!

The beds were comfortable, and the food was delicious. But what really stood out for me was the exceptional service from the staff. The waitress at the restaurant in particular went above and beyond to make sure our experience was perfect. Highly recommend Chateau Merrimack Resort & Spa for anyone looking for a pleasant stay!

Kristina Babcock: I was charged twice for two different prices, it was supposed to be split between a friend and I, but she was also charged twice the rate we split and i was charged the split and full. Our door lock was broken which we told maintenance and it still wasn't working- ac unit was not working and maintenance came in at 1230 to try to fix and just said he would move us but it was midnight, no trash bags, no complementaries, just was told watch 3-5 days to see if it goes back.
Daniel Wells: No AC my room is currently 77 degrees, the fan won’t even turn on. Bad tv reception, and the internet is slow. Don’t waste your money.

Yamaha live free or die: I rented a room for holiday inn Chelmsford through booking, and when I got to the hotel the girl at the front desk needed to swipe my card for incidentals. Let's just say there was a little mishap with my card. I called the hotel when I realized the mistake on my card the next day, and the manager Katie at this hotel was extremely courteous, and kind. She took care of the mistake very promptly, and apologized for my troubles. Overall the room was clean, and the hotel serves breakfast. The rooms are a little pricey here but if you use the breakfast in the morning, it definitely works out in your benefit. Big thank you to the management of this hotel for everything!

No where in the website do they disclose these facilities aren’t open!Electronic door locks were messed upAround 9am fire alarms were triggered by the construction. This establishment was a Holiday Inn but I understand Hilton has bought it.Food & drinks: There is a Cracker Barrel a very short distance..A Longhorn steak house a little further down the road.There is a Showcase deluxe cinema in Lowell in the vicinity of theater are other restaurants. There are historic venues close to downtown Lowell. There are many other restaurants in Tewksbury. I'm confident the hotel staff have brochures for local interests close to the Inn.
Marie Huet: We stayed there during one night only and we are grateful we hadn’t planned any more nights …! The front staff was unwelcoming, just gave us the keys and forgot to mention the pool was closed, breakfast was not included anymore and that the wifi had broken down. We had booked a room for 5 and were expected a couch and two double beds but were given a room with two queens and two armchairs (did you ewpect our fith guest to make a bed out of that ?…). We had to go up the front desk again where the lady told us that we should have made an other reservation or that our guest would have to sleep on a camp bed, which he did.Sheets were stained, curtains as well. No soaps, used shampoo and last but not least we had a bug in our room. Save your money and stay somewhere else.
Danielle Cerroni: Booked through a company website and the advertisement needs to be updated. Was not informed that the hotel was no longer the Holiday Inn. Found out that they are being bought out by Hilton, and it needs a face lift. Dust hanging from the ceiling, hair on all the towels they gave us. Water pressure was terrible. Advertisement shows for all inclusive breakfast, Wi-Fi, restaurant, hotel. We could only stay there to sleep and shower. Very disappointing. I would recommend to wait till Hilton finishes renovations to stay there.

The location is quiet and safe but definitely too far from Boston to be charging downtown Boston prices! Elevators are over a year long overdue for inspections and are in serious need of being managed and inspected for guests safety as we have had a couple of instances where we felt it jump! Management should fix it!

CS Kuo: I graduated from UML. SO, of course, I will give five stars to the ICC hotel. After five-day staying, I do have suggestions as follows:1. we (travelers) really can use a clothes closet or something that we can hang our clothes. I didn't have that in my room.2. a fancy coffee machine is excellent. but, it is not friendly to someone who needs hot water to make a tea or something else.3. There was a leaking in the bath tub. Water in was almost the same as water leak.
Amanda Gimbel: This hotel is a great value and the staff are so nice! As a young woman traveling alone I felt very secure and cared for. It's very close to cool coffee shops (Brew'd awakening) and overlooks the canal system in Lowell. Thank you to front desk (Victoria and Cailin) for answering all my questions and being so kind and friendly.

Josiah Dykstra: Solid C for effort... they're really trying. Owned and operated by the University means they lack name-brand polish. The ICC is also a dorm (note: guests are not allowed to use the campus shuttle). Breakfast is skimpy with bagels, yogurt, and coffee. The bar served only pizza and hamburgers with a bartender who kept apologizing for it. Had to call the front desk after midnight for excessive noise in the hallway.

Spent hours at 1am calling other hotels all of which were booked for a long weekend. Ended up paying $500 for ine night, a room 30 minutes away. I got a refund from uMass Lowell Inn but no one acknowledged the issue or made any kind of apology or took ownership of the situation. And we were our $500 and all the wasted time and energy. 👍
Adriana DiIorio: Victoria was awesome! We had an issue with Priceline themselves and she resolved it for us quickly, and was so incredibly kind our entire visit. The hotel is beautiful and we were on the first floor and had a little patio overlooking the river! It was so great to be able to open a sliding door to the outside from our room. They have complimentary breakfast with bagels, danish, yogurt, fruit, and Starbucks coffee and tea with options to eat in a big dining room with windows overlooking the river or a space with a fireplace and comfortable chairs. The rooms were very clean. Will definitely stay here again.
