Recently, Steve dropped everything to straighten out a relatively minor issue that I had with my checking account. It’s my understanding that Steve has only been with the Bank a short time but it was made very clear to me that he has a great understanding of the Enterprise culture of putting the customer first. During my pregnancy to be on bed rest, l didn’t have any money coming in Santander account so l went over to closed the checking account to avoid paying overdraft. Everybody was friendly the guy who assist me printed documents to sign and also another eye Witness (a customer service) had to sign too. This was done on May 10th, 2021. I was super excited because l through everything was all set, I made all my overdraft payment that day. On November 18th, l received a phone call from the collector for owing Santander $282 for an overdraft fee.. this is not far .. whyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy Santander bank 🏦…. Chris: Lowell Five is such a great bank to do business with. I am self employed and did a mortgage with them back in 2012. Many of the "larger" banks could not work with my self employed financials, and Lowell Five was not only able to help, but came through quickly and with better rates!! The process was seamless. Recently, with business setbacks due to covid regulations, etc... I needed some assistance. Lowell Five was there to help. I cannot thank them enough. Special Thanks goes to Donna and the executive team!! I highly recommend doing business with a local bank vs the “giants”. Definitely check into Lowell Five for your next loan/banking needs!!

And . GREAT service when you want to open an account… Terrible service to customer for anything after that point. When I signed up for my business accounts here, I was promised quick service at a dedicated “business customer” window. The window exists- there is rarely someone there.
Marina Wong: I have been a bank of Boston customer and subsequently a BoA customer for many years. They were convenient and that's why we started with them. The only reason why we have kept them is they are every where. But BoA (not this one in particular but I just want to echo some of other customer's review and that's why I post here) doesn't welcome people to go to their branch (Westford, Boston and Acton branches all have told me I can do certain things at the ATM or online), phones are also often not answered. Wiring needs an appointment (unlike Enterprise Bank which I actually use for my daily banking purpose, I can just go and do the wire transfer) notarizing a doc needs an appointment. Very customer unfriendly and inefficient. The only reason that I am giving a 2 star is because when I helped my daughter open an account, someone actually took the time to explain a lot of things to her, including some financial basics. I have since moved to FL and noticed FL BoA staff are much better. Not sure why. But I am still keeping my Enterprise Bank for my daily usage and BoA is just occasionally when I really need to attend to my kids' accounts of if I have to manage any of my FL tenant banking stuff.
kella clarke: It’s @BankofAmerica saying that they 10 dollar overdraft fee is only for savings accounts and 35 for checking accounts! Don’t get played y’all I was even told they can’t reverse overdraft fees at their branch I’ll have to call costumer service! Complete refusal to answer a phone, laden with excuses, argumentative, and rude .... should I keep going? Questioning why I wasted any time trying to reason with 2 relationship bankers who clearly have no business working in a customer service role.
Sarann K: Why do you have a branch if you're trying to make people go the App, ATM, Twitter, and FB? No one picks up the phone, the customer service phone line is totally useless. Why don't just close the branch if you cannot handle in-person transaction. If a customer wants to talk to a person, it means a customer really needs help with the things that the machine cannot do. Imagine you're not a member and want to open an account, that's gonna be a very unpleasant experience. First you would think you can call to set up an appointment, but no one will answer the phone. So you would go to the branch in person, but you would have to wait for about an hour just to be told that you need to set up an appointment and come back next day. Do Not Ruin Your Reputation By Just Trying to Cut Cost, look at a bigger picture. Have one your staff visit other banks to see that no other banks does business like the way you do.

She offered him $300 and he accepted not knowing he had at least twice that amount in coins. THAT'S UNETHICAL BANKING! She should be fired for taking advantage of an elderly person!

Nicole J: They are unable and unwilling to Verify a cashiers check made from their facility. Even the same day issued: unfortunately the tellers and the branch manager Maria were the worst people I have encountered . I’ve never felt so disrespected in my life . They refused to cash a cashiers check drawn from their branch if I am not a customer. After dealing with these two gems, I am not sure how they have any customers. When I spoke to another manager Shawn , he co-signed everything Maria stated. So moral of the story. If you have cashiers check drawn from their bank even on the same day, they do not know how to verify the check ( Maria signed it) . They are such a small bank they refuse to take the extra steps or even common courtesy to any patron, whether you have an account here or not. If you want to feel miserable then please go here. They will treat you like a panhandler with no shoes on. I am not sure how this place is still open.

I, of course agreed, then they told me they're weren't going to cash the check unless my wife also came in with an ID; turning me away with a very large check. People expecting a high level of customer advocacy, quality service, and quality online banking BEWARE!

T W: If you care about timely mobile deposits for your business or online banking, look literally anywhere else. Every couple of weeks, their website just decides to boot your devices out and not let you break back into your own account without contacting them by phone during their business hours (when you’re using the correct information/password). Their advice is usually “delete the cookies” like it’s 1997 and when you do, still nothing works and they have to reset your account manually. This bank has a long way to go to match any other competitors in the 21st century. Been meaning to for a long time and just didn’t want to deal with the hassle, but canceling this account asap

Rebecca Hargrove: I went to this specific Santander location to see if I can cancel an external transfer I did through my mobile banking app. I went up to the teller & she had no idea what I was talking about so she sent me over to customer service. One of the customer service reps with white hair called me in. She never told me her name. She had no idea how the mobile app worked. In this day & age pretty much everyone uses mobile banking. So you would think they would be trained on it. Now I transferred money from my Santander account to my primary bank account through my credit union. I’ve done external & internal transfers before using my mobile app. I understand it’s not instant. I had an unexpected bill getting taken out of my Santander account so I wanted to cancel the transfer so it doesn’t go negative & I get charged a million fees. My questions never got answered. She wasn’t knowledgeable in the mobile banking app or how external transfers work. Instead she started raising her voice at me because my boyfriend & I have a joint account. The only reason why I’m on the account is so I can have a debit card for it. So I can deposit money in because he works long hours. Well he was negative in that account. The joint account wasn’t the account I did the transfer from. So it was none of her business in the first place. I told her that it was my boyfriends account & she started flipping out on me telling me I have to put money in it so it’s not negative anymore. That it’s my responsibility. And that it’s going to impact my credit if the account closes. I have never been so disrespected & embarrassed by a bank before. I have a $35000 car loan through Santander that I will be refinancing. Also I am closing out my checking account & my boyfriend is doing so as well. If you want to get yelled at like you’re a misbehaving 2 year old do all of your banking here. I left with the transfer not getting cancelled & now my account is negative & I got charged an overdraft fee.

Olivia Curley: I choose this bank for only two reasons, hours and locations. It used to be the best in that department. Now I consistently see locations closing. This is now the closest location to me and the hours are no better, if not worse than other banks. There closed by 5PM weekdays, and the slim weekend hours are no help. Save yourself some money and fees, just go to a local credit union instead.

April Sylvester: I was with this company for more than 20 years. I decided to close my accounts and due to an error which the bank doesn't acknowledge as a bank error I was charged and then given the run around by the bank manager, Matt. I will pay the $37 over which is so important to them that they would sour a 20 year business relationship. After thinking I closed my account I stopped receiving statements and other correspondence from TD Bank. 6 months later I receive a collections letter.Whether or not Matt was able to help me, he should have been honest. Instead he sent me back and forth with the recovery department because he was not professional or mature enough to handle the situation. I WILL SURELY NEVER BE A CUSTOMER AT TD BANK AGAIN.Dishonesty is what you get at least from the Mammoth Rd. branch.

Amanda Powers: Yesterday I went to get a new card since my chip stopped working. It took over 45 minutes to print. We then made sure it worked at the ATM before I left. Went to use it later on last night and it's an invalid card according to the decline slip. So I called to find out the issue just after they opened this morning. The best information they could give me was to bring the card in as soon as possible without even looking at my account to see if it could be fixed without me having to go in. On top of that the gentleman who answered was giving me an attitude as if I was annoying him. He then ended the call. So I called Hurd st and they helped clear everything up and fix the problem in less than 15 minutes.
Sanary Phen: I've never had a worse experience at a bank. I opened a CD account back in 2017 and in 2020 my account was closed and my funds were turned over to the state without so much as a phone call. The only attempt to contact me was through a single letter sent in the mail which I assumed was a statement and tucked away. Once I realized what it was I contacted the bank only to be told I needed to contact the state to claim my funds. After a good amount of back and forth for over a year trying to locate my money I was informed by the state that the bank reported the funds under the wrong name and that was the reason they couldn't locate it. I contacted the bank to have them correct the error but it's been over 2 weeks since and no one seemed to care. I still haven't gotten an apology nor has anyone made any real effort to help me. I keep getting the run around and I'm still waiting for them to fix the issue. I would never recommend banking with Salem Five. They really don't care about maintaining a relationship with their customers or keeping them happy.
