Kim Tien: So I paid for a package of 11 or 12 for Full Brazilian wax but I did not realize that I only need full Bikini wax. Full Bikini wax is cheaper. After using 6 out of the 11 or 12 package, finally one of the girl told that. Therefore, I asked the girl at the front desk to see if they can add couples wax to my package or keep me some kind of a credit because I paid more and didn’t need the services, and the girl at the front desk said, sorry they can’t do anything. I have to use up my package and than I can buy a new package with just Full Bikini. Not happy with their customers service. Make sure you asked in details before buying the package

BUT, the service itself never comes out how I like but usually I am lalright walking out with whatever they do because what other choice do i have right ? But this specific appointment was awful. I don’t remember the name of my waxer because it was my 1st time with her. She was nice but she didnt even ask how I like/want my brows. So i took it upon myself to tell her what I wanted before she got to work. Throughout the process I felt like she was removing too much hair but did not stop her just in case i was wrong. But i wasn’t. My eyebrows are horribly uneven. One longer than the other. She took off one whole side of my eyebrow on the side of my face. I really wonder if all these women are TRUE and qualified estheticians as I have never left 100% satisfied or with a job well done. I’ve tried different estheticians just because i liked the place but this was the last straw for me and I will NEVER return. I would honestly rather stay hairy than go back to the wax center at any location .Service:Eyebrow waxing

Elizabeth Valeri: I have been going to EWC for years and typically go to the Nashua location but they were totally booked today.I've never once had a bad experience until today.I cannot for the life of me remember my esthetician's name, but I went at 2 pm for a brow wax.Something happened today which I've never once experienced (and I've been getting my brows done for 12+ years). The waxer went over the same spots on my skin 2-3 times. It was soo painful, and at 10 pm tonight still feels sensitive and is still red. I'm not an esthetician, but I always thought best practice was to only go over a specific spot once, and tweeze what's leftover in order to avoid any skin irritation or lots of redness. I thought about saying something during the process..but I didn't want to be rude or question her. My eyebrows came out good, however, my skin is still red hours later (and I've been aloeing the areas).This experience has unfortunately made me rethink going to EWC ever again.Service:Waxing

Patience Virtue: I personally would NOT return to this place. The service I got is pretty poor for the price I paid. I had Marissa a few times- nice girl but she rushes through waxing and doesn’t do a thorough job. She doesn’t really care enough to do the best waxing. You know how some aestheticians are every attentive and love what they do ? Yeah she is not one of them. I’m totally unsatisfied, so this place is a NO for me.

Highly recommend - if you're new to electrolysis, it does hurt sometimes but it's not terrible! Also, buy cooling hemorrhoid gel (not cream, must be cooling) ahead of the appointment as she notes this is the best form of after care and you'll have it ready for when you go home :)

Emmanuelle Joassaint (Manou): The best and most effective electrolysis I've ever received and I've seen two providers before her. Despite a pretty penny spent over a few years the hair came back strong, coarse and dense so those treatments probably had maybe 20% overall efficacy. I didn't know there are different voltages and other beauty alchemy I'm unaware of but Marsha explained what may have happened before and in about a year of approx bimonthly treatments: gone. Gone. Dramatic permanent removal of hairs. Nothing has come back over ~6 treatments by Marsha."Maybe this reviewer didn't have hirsutism like me" you're thinking, oh no, I did. Easily plucked 20 hairs a day on average off of my face. Every day. Could've been in a 90's R&B boy band if I let it grow out. (Seriously though: don't pluck/wax when you start electrolysis, only shave. It disrupts the growth cycles)She's also aware of differences in hair texture, skin tone and wont give simple size-fits-all advice. Follow pre-treatment/aftercare directions carefully and you'll see great results. Also easy to be comfortable with - wanna chat? She'll chat. Don't wanna chat? Won't chat. Works on where-ever to your comfort, time flies quickly.And she is multi-tested (supported referrals and first hand) LGBT-friendly. She's a friendly, straight forward, professional and gives results that are truly permanent. Can't recommend her enough. Definitely going back for other treatment areas.Within walking distance of UMASS Lowell. Clean comfortable office.

Dakina Dorvil: I've only technically been waxed by 2 people that I genuinely felt comfortable with. Today was different because both of my usual people that I would go too were both booked or left early. I needed to get waxed today though because I have an event coming up and couldn't skip this day like all of my other days.I must say,1). I was very nervous and scared because waxing is not painless and depending on the person , it can almost be painless.2). I'm not comfortable with just anyone waxing my body. I was getting a WBIB (BRAZILIAN) Just came back from waxing, Alyssa waxed me; and it was first the time meeting each other. All I have to say is HIRE MORE ALYSSA'S AND LAURENS. I'm sure the other girls are great and sweet and amazing but so far these two girls in Westford have my heart.I felt super comfortable from start to finish with Alyssa. You did amazing girlfriend!

I have incredibly thick eyebrows (that I love) and I’ve been going to the same place for 10 years. However, location and work has forced me to switch. Suzette in Westford did my eyebrows and I was AMAZED. Truly a perfect wax experience and Suzette was so kind, sweet and full of smiles. I totally recommend coming here for your wax needs!! The girls are sweet as can be.
