Fred: Last month, at Public Storage, 351 Parker St., Springfield MA, I explained to Victor, a manager, that I was experiencing financial hardship, affecting my ability to pay rent. As a senior citizen, I asked if there was any way Public Storage could assist. Victor helped me apply for a rent decrease request, which favorably impacted my rent this month. Bill Spratt: I have been a tenant of this facility for two years and the secure location is wonderful. I have a 10x20 unit that is a great size. Lighting is not an issue in the dark hours if needed. Communication with the owner is also great.

Lorimar Molina: I'm here dropping things off in my unit and when I try to leave at 10 pm it tells me at the gate access denied on trying to exit. Fml no answer to any number guess I'll have to hunker down in my uhaul truck for the night thanks otter horrible storage unit.
John: Do not put your stuff here. There is no staff. Nobody is watching the units. Numerous are broken into currently, the gate is cut open, and one side isn't even fenced, you can hop right on in. Yet despite all this, they are currently building more units, in an already pretty tight place, because that's their priority. Absolutely awful, I didn't even use the unit, left and canceled.EDIT: In reply to their reply, all of your positive reviews seem to be before Otter Storage took over this facility. I included pictures in my review as well. That is not vandalism, you have been repeatedly broken into, there were units sitting open that were just broken into, and numerous units have been repaired from previous break ins, and in spite of this you invest in more units rather than more security. That said everything I needed to know about how you do business.

Now everything is horrible, they raised the prices without notifying them, they removed the 24-hour in and out service without notifying and when it snows they don't clean, there is no communication, it's a total disaster Otter storage and the office there doesn't work, it's closed.

Melvin Coleman: Convenient location. Affordable pricing. No fluff. They have free wheeled carts for moving stuff in and out your units. You get a key card to open the lift door. Only real con is that the roads and pathways outside on the way to the units have potholes and bumps galore so be very careful.

Mallori Grimaldi: DO NOT RENT HERE! On June 7 I paid first and last months rent which would be June and July. I just went down to my storage unit yesterday on July 13, and they have a giant red padlock on my storage unit that they use for customers that are overdue on their rent. So after paying my rent, renting a U-Haul, And hiring people to come help me empty out my storage unit, instead I got there to find out that I wasted all my money because they locked me out of my unit. Then the man had the nerve to say to me “it was a mistake, you make mistakes too”.

B H: Very rude customer service. I called to get some information about renting a unit. The man who answered did not sound at all interested that I was looking to rent, and only gave a 'yes' or 'no' when I asked about other information. I was looking forward to getting a unit here, because their prices are very reasonable, but I giving my business elsewhere .
Paul Goodchild Ph.D., CPA: Good, no frills, indoor storage at a reasonable rate. Nice to be able to drive in. I'd give it a 5 star, but I'll have to see how my stuff stays. It looks like an environment with a lot of dirt, so I expect my stuff to have a layer on there after being there for a month. The storage unit I rented doesn't have a ceiling. As long as you're prepared, then that is not a big deal.

I called the day before to confirm that the trailer was available (after reading a lot of bad reviews) and the employee confirmed that they had it. When I arrived, I was told that the trailer was not available. After driving 3 hours from out of state, this was the last thing I wanted to hear. A call beforehand would have been great. Thankfully, another uHual in Chipoee had the trailer.

kc colter: This place is the absolute worst!! Has a very hard time finding a storage until. Finally found one here, smaller than I wanted but was the only one they had, so we took it. Booked it for July 1. Agreed to everything and reserved it on the website. Turned out we really needed to access the unit 2 days early so we called and made arrangements with someone on the phone to access the unit 3 days early. Was ok’d by the employee and was told we’re all set for a 5x10 unit. We show up today with a full truckload of stuff only to be told there’s no unit for us!! After talking to multiple employees and reservations on the website, we were told sorry the we dontt try run the website we only work here but we could rent you a 5x5 for the same price$100!!! Are you kidding me!! They were not willing to help us at all!! Told us there’s an open 10x10 but we can’t rent it to you!!!! Why would you tell someone that if you can’t rent it??? So extremely rude and unprofessional!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! Now I have a full truckload of items and nowhere to bring them.. The lack of responsibility and refusal to help remedy the situation was appalling!! If you have a reservation here double and triple check it but my recommendation is cancel it. This place sucks!!😡😡😡

Everyone goes through cash struggles sometimes. Joe the owner reached out by emails and by phone to make sure my family didn’t lose our belongings. He worked with me and made arrangements to ensure he went out of his way to take care of us. Just by communicating our situation. Joseph Commane: They raised my rate several times in only a years-time and so I got my stuff out and vacated. Upon signing the documents and turning my lock/keys in, they told me that they are purposely increasing peoples' rates to try and force them out so that they can sell the unit at a higher rate - Unbelievable
Kasey Smith: Avoid this company!!! They raised our rent by $200 in only 3 years. This is illegal price gouging. We are getting our stuff out immediately!!!

Gabriel A.: Why arrogance and really bad aptitude? Why they do not cooperate with the corporate as a representative on the property? They are like bipolar. They may be going to retaliate for this comment here. I rented a 10x25 and found that it is a 10x22, when I asked her about the remaining feet of 10x25 she said that it is what it is and it is the closest measurement. I replied that the closest measurement is 10x20. she answered me take it or leave. that is, 3' x 10' are 30' that I pay for without having them for my use. Why don't they give me another small space to cover the remaining feet? I am 63 years old with physical conditions and I cannot move or move due to health conditions.

I have been a customer since March 2022 and have had absolutely no issues whatsoever!! I highly recommend this storage facility for your storage needs!
Mark A. Bibbins: I began a rental contract on or about October 2021 and received the first month rent free and the next 4 months were a little high but I paid. February I was informed that the rate beginning March would rise. I am not happy and feel I am the victim of a bait and switch.

Stephen Blanchard: Don't get a unit against the retaining wall. They will tell you dust might blow in which is true, what they won't tell you is the mice own that side of the complex. Ruined a ton of stuff. Also the main woman there will tell you one thing one day and literally yell at you the next as if she forgot. Safe place though
Ricky W: A friend needed storage on short notice. Life storage was able to accommodate and gave the first month free. He got a climate controlled interior unit. The property was clean. My only complaint would be that the access road to the unit was very tight and we could not fit the truck past a small car that was unloading. It took about 15 mins to get to the unit once we were inside as we had to wait for the other person to come out and move there vehicle.
