Lorimar Molina: I'm here dropping things off in my unit and when I try to leave at 10 pm it tells me at the gate access denied on trying to exit. Fml no answer to any number guess I'll have to hunker down in my uhaul truck for the night thanks otter horrible storage unit.
John: Do not put your stuff here. There is no staff. Nobody is watching the units. Numerous are broken into currently, the gate is cut open, and one side isn't even fenced, you can hop right on in. Yet despite all this, they are currently building more units, in an already pretty tight place, because that's their priority. Absolutely awful, I didn't even use the unit, left and canceled.EDIT: In reply to their reply, all of your positive reviews seem to be before Otter Storage took over this facility. I included pictures in my review as well. That is not vandalism, you have been repeatedly broken into, there were units sitting open that were just broken into, and numerous units have been repaired from previous break ins, and in spite of this you invest in more units rather than more security. That said everything I needed to know about how you do business.
Carlos A. Ramos Santiago: 24/7 in and out, friendly management and good prices. But now 11/2021 new management name Otter storage. Now everything is horrible, they raised the prices without notifying them, they removed the 24-hour in and out service without notifying and when it snows they don't clean, there is no communication, it's a total disaster Otter storage and the office there doesn't work, it's closed.

Michael Houle: I just came today on the 22nd of February to pull stuff Out of my storage unit on the 2nd floor as usual the elevator on the first floor is out of service cuz it's broken can't use it so you'll have to use the stairs it's unfair that customers have to continue to deal with this problem as much as I have especially senior citizens and other customers that rent at Life storage here at fisk ave the other elevator what's supposed to get fixed inspected what is still unavailable to use not good the managers are good people but the problem is is the elevators are always down or broken

Arslan Asif: I wanted to give 5 starts but my last experience was not good with them. I had storage for more than year with them never had problem very clean storage and good space. But I closed my account with them and return a key to them today they called me and said you have 2 locks on the door and key is not working on second lock I never put 2 lock on the storage I told them but the girl start fight with me and start telling me not to yell at her. And after some time she called me and said I apologize I was at wrong storage you all set I would say storage itself is good but customer service is 0 you need to confirm everything before you call your customers. But not gonna recommend to anyone from today
Donna Zimmerman: This facility is immaculately clean and well organized. It has a loading dock which is easily accessible by large trucks. The units' ceilings are taller than most storage facilities and the corridors are wide for using moving dollies. The office management is friendly and very knowledgeable. They are always willing to go the extra mile to help. The location right off of I-91 is also a plus. I highly recommend this facility to anyone who wants a great experience.

Melvin Coleman: Convenient location. Affordable pricing. No fluff. They have free wheeled carts for moving stuff in and out your units. You get a key card to open the lift door. Only real con is that the roads and pathways outside on the way to the units have potholes and bumps galore so be very careful.

Mallori Grimaldi: DO NOT RENT HERE! On June 7 I paid first and last months rent which would be June and July. I just went down to my storage unit yesterday on July 13, and they have a giant red padlock on my storage unit that they use for customers that are overdue on their rent. So after paying my rent, renting a U-Haul, And hiring people to come help me empty out my storage unit, instead I got there to find out that I wasted all my money because they locked me out of my unit. Then the man had the nerve to say to me “it was a mistake, you make mistakes too”.

B H: Very rude customer service. I called to get some information about renting a unit. The man who answered did not sound at all interested that I was looking to rent, and only gave a 'yes' or 'no' when I asked about other information. I was looking forward to getting a unit here, because their prices are very reasonable, but I giving my business elsewhere .
Paul Goodchild Ph.D., CPA: Good, no frills, indoor storage at a reasonable rate. Nice to be able to drive in. I'd give it a 5 star, but I'll have to see how my stuff stays. It looks like an environment with a lot of dirt, so I expect my stuff to have a layer on there after being there for a month. The storage unit I rented doesn't have a ceiling. As long as you're prepared, then that is not a big deal.

Kim Chen: Simple process to reserve online. I went up to the office to pay and get my code and purchase a lock. The process was fairly quick and the rep was super friendly and helpful. When I went to the actual unit, there was a new lock inside for me. I took it back to the office and was told "oh, they put that in there because they thought you were an online customer. When you complete & pay for your transaction online, you get a free lock." Not once did I ever see that information, otherwise I would have paid online.

Kris Donovan: Repeated break-ins (17 units this most recent incident) and an apathetic attitude regarding security should make this a somewhat less attractive choice. There is a camera. One. Oh, well, what can you do? More. More is what you can do. Also, I slipped and fell due to a solvable issue with how the snowbank freeze/thaw melt runoff creates a swath of ice where you're not expecting it, at night, in a poorly lit area. I reported it to apparently deaf ears. My suggestion for fixing it was ignored. You get the idea.
