I advised them to go ahead with repairs and asked they call me when it was repaired. Thru completed the repair timely, and contacted me within the specified time to advise the repairs were complete. Having some experience with car parts and labor costs I was bracing myself for a bill that would be unmanageable with my limited resources.I was pleasantly surprised! Not only was the cost more than reasonable, I was also offered financing which although I didn't utilize is comforting to have as an option and very likely will never put off repairs for fear of cost.They even refinished my headlights which had become hazed.Great place, friendly people, and they really appreciate you as a customer. Bree: Had breaks done the very 1st drive after repair got into accident brake pedal went to floor had to pull emergency brake which had no tension rear ended a car. Brought back to spartan they said it was completely separate issue with master cylinder n charged me again. So they obviously never test the brakes after repairs someone could of been killed the officer at scene was gonna charge me with some offense until i showed repair bill n showed him E brake failed was not re connected after brake job that same day. Also they allow my senior citizen neighbor to put approximately 20k last year into a 1998 honda accord which doesnt see 2 months without a breakdown and another $500 repair.

Broke down 10 hours from home, these guys got my squeezed in same day, had parts in stock, and were overall a pleasure to work with. Salman E.: A huge let down. Don't get mesmerized by all the certificates and decorations. I explained my issue to George in detail at the shop. They were to take my vehicle for a long test drive the following day to hear a tapping noise i described. Not only they didn't, Nick said it was crazy and unusual to do so even though i had agreed to pay the fee. Then he said I needed four new tires and suspensions that would cost me $3000! All they had to do was test drive the car, hear the noise, point to the real problem and be nice about it. Be careful with this shop.

Chhin Nai Eang: Traveled to West Springfield for a trade show at the BIg E from Maine. Thieves chopped out my Cadillac Converter on a Friday night in hotel parking lot. Spartan was the only place that picked up the phone at 9am Saturday in the area. Got a rough estimate of $1200 and dropped Honda Element off at 10am. They have a loaner car for $20, which was really useful. They finished repair at 3pm at cost of $1600, the extra was because thieves chopped off multiple oxygen sensors. Grateful to have a solid repair shop open on a Saturday, and able to get the job done by closing time.Service:Exhaust

Heather Wyman: I experienced the first situation with my car that wasn’t covered under warranty, so I looked for a non-dealer alternative who could work on my foreign car 🚗 (Farfegbroken). Last minute, I could not get a ride to work and was offered a loaner car, which really saved my day. The entire process, soup to nuts (and bolts) was surprisingly Informative and delightfully easy. I received a full detailed report of the work that needed to be done on my car, I was able to text a response to the person letting them know to go ahead, and I could pick up my car after hours when it was convenient. Xio Yara: Went in because my car was making a noise when turning on. The man said it was an air filter duct that was worn out. So i had him replace it, charged me $300. Being a women im sure he knew i didnt know it was not that expensive, completely over charged me. Also the next day the car was making the same noise. Talked to a friend, and took the car in he told me it was definitely on the muffler. Brought it to Precision and they actually said it was a the gasket, they fixed it and no more noise. He basically didn't care about helping and also over charged me.Answer to owner: yes I said a noise, ur the mechanic your supposed to find out whats the noise and try to fix it. The squealing was still there after so you didnt fix the issue and still over charged me. You basically made the engine light turn off and charged me $300.

Sinead Alexander: The absolute worse mechanic I've been to. Replaced my serpentine belt due to minor squeaking. Belt completely came off after driving for a few minutes. He "fixed" his mistake after trying to say it was another issue. Once he "fixed" it he apologized for any inconvenience. Now 5 days later the belt is slipping off again. And again, he is blaming it on something else being wrong with my vehicle when I've never had any other issues with it until he touched it. John Regan: I used them once before for an oil change and tire rotation and had a very good experience, this time I tried 3× in a little over a week to make an appointment for the same service on their website but they never answered my service requests so I went somewhere else.

Karen Schoessler: Made an appointment for a checkup on my belt since it was squeaking. Walked out with a new belt, new back brakes and rotors, and factory grades spark plugs. Just over 700. Great service. I did wait for the job on the car. It was a little over 4 hours for all of that. Not too bad at all. Thank you guys. I will be bringing grasshopper back to you at some point to get more done.
Sharon Kida: The manager of this garage is wonderful. Business is lucky to have him. I needed to get tire nut/studs as I could not get new tires on my 2016 Subaru Cross Trek, they found additional work ( wheel bearings, routers, and brake pads) that needed to be done in order for my car to be fully functional. Manager worked with me to get the best deal. I fully intend to use this place for my future car needs. I feel confident driving now. The owner is lucky to have such a great manager.I returned today, 6 mos later. Had low tire pressure light on. Manager determined low air, filled and said I was all set but I said I wanted to know why. It turned out COSTCO when putting on my tires 6 mos ago did not sand down the abrasion on the rim. This manager is super - goods salesman and good to the customers. Owner should keep this guy around!!! Other people in waiting room also said he was wonderful.Service:General repairs maintenance
