Joel Hencken: Given the technology available today, there is no good reason why DOR makes people stay on hold for ages, subjected to music they may not want, instead of using the technology of leaving your number for a call back when you are next in line. Lots of other agencies and businesses use this technology.

Lily r: Be careful leaving your money at this bank. Someone hacked my card and took money from my account and i reported and still no answer why i was denied when my money should have been secured in your bank. After that i closed my account for 14 years that I was banking with them just to tell me that is not their fault.Horrible customer service. Make sure you check your account daily because they are not responsible for whatever happens.

Robert Hall: Horrible bank, horrible experience starting a loan and opening a simple account, horrible website, long hold times… when I got my loan I was going to do all my banking at Freedom so I didn’t have to manage a separate account. I’m extremely glad I didn’t do that. Nasty attitude on so many people I spoke to when I explained my frustrations.

M Nolee: Customers of Freedom credit union..Alert Alert..I answered a email that was a scam..they took 123 out of my account charging Google games. I got a call from Freedom credit union call center asking if the charges were fraudulent I said YES!!..I called the bank the next day to file a dispute and to get my money back. Google denied the claim bc they didn't see any error they went and looked at my account but obviously they couldn't see anything 🙄. Well obviously you can't I didn't authorize the chargesI talked to Freedom credit union to ask for help. They gave me provisional credit but the investigation was not final yet..today they sent me a letter saying we could not find any error and we will take the money back that you were scammed from because you PARTICIPATED IN By giving them your information. Are you serious 😐..the whole reason of being scammed is you think u can trust them and when you realize they are liars...the bank is supposed to protect and help from this. OBVIOUSLY NOT FREEDOM CREDIT UNION IM SO DISAPPOINTED IN THEM AND HOW THEY HAVE THERE CONTRACT WITH MASTERCARD BC I WANTED TO APPEAL AND THEY SAID I CANT AND THEY HAD THE FINAL WORD! THE LADY THAT I SPOKE TOO I WAS LIKE O GUESS YOU ARE FINE LOSING CUSTOMERS BC SHE JUST SAID SRY MAAM AND ENDED CALL. I SUGGEST YOU BE CAREFUL WITH THIS BANK!!!!!
Jason S.: With them for years, they denied my small auto loan of $10k(With 3k down) because of some unpaid student loans from a discredited school that lost a lawsuit with the state, and the DOE is in the process of forgiving and removing from my credit history. They didnt even talk to me about my situation, just denied me. Everything else on my credit is perfect. And credit unions are supposed to work with you the most. Dont want their business anymore even if they had a change of heart.

Lisa Ashcraft: I was interested in a HELOC but had just been denied a refinance from another bank due to some renovations in-process at my home. I CALLED to ask about their qualifying criteria and was told I had to fill out an application online before someone could speak with me. I filled out the application, but paused when it came to the credit check authorization. I had to check the box (or else you can not submit), but I added in the notes of the application that they did NOT have my permission to pull my credit without FIRST reviewing my appraisal report and letting me know if I met criteria for their financing. I reassured them in the note at the bottom of their application form that my credit score is not in question. In fact, I logged into my credit karma app RIGHT THEN so I could give a current reference... well wouldn't you know it, when I logged in to the app, I saw that they had ALREADY done a hard credit pull!! BEFORE I HAD EVEN HIT THE SUBMIT BUTTON ON THE APPLICATION!!! Since I had not hit submit yet, I went on in my note to describe what I had just discovered and that I was very upset about it. I very clearly wrote that if I did not meet criteria for financing due to the condition of my home that I would be expecting them to retract the hard credit pull since I had NOT authorized it in the first place... Fast forward 2 months of jumping through hoops and wasted time and don't you know, I was DENIED financing because of property condition/appraisal issues (I have $100k in equity, it's just that some things weren't up to code... I was trying to get financing to bring it up to code... so pretty much I'm SOL). They now refuse to honor that I did not actually give them permission to pull my credit, they refuse to change the hard pull to a soft pull or retract it completely, which was what I explicitly wrote in my application. Apparently they do not actually READ the applications. Considering how clear I was about authorization and also how easy of a fix it is for them to simply correct this matter with the credit bureaus, I am disappointed in their lack of accountability and tone deafness to my request to simply honor what was clearly in writing. After 2 weeks of asking and waiting and the issue getting passed up the chain, the answer was still, "No, we will not be retracting the credit pull because you checked the box. You should have called to ask your question"... Wow...Now I have to waste my energy filing a dispute with the credit bureau and the BBB. What a waste of everyone's time... shake my head...

I’ll pay the extra dollar and save on random account fees also known as “glitches” to them, and for experienced and knowledgeable staff.*** Remember a .25-.5% difference of loan rates is only saving you pennies!Save yourself and RUN!

Rollie Wallace: Customer since 2012. Great products and company, but sales is based on an archaeic MLM type model with 95%+ turnover. This results in a terrible customer experience and poverty level for most of the people who work for them. Advice offered is available virtually anywhere so, sadly, they are very nearly obsolete.

Ralph Wright: I purchased a Life Insurance policy in 1962. I paid it off but continued to purchase additional coverage. The MassMutual Agency was in Nashua, NH.The Agency was managed by Mr. Alun Williams. He sold me an Insurance policy. We were both members of The Nashua Kiwanis Club of which I was the secretary. He was married to a nurse and they had 8 or 9 children, all girls. I promised Mr. Williams that if my wife and I have a boy baby, that his middle name would be Alun. We had one child, a boy and his middle name was Alun. Mr. Williams was born in Wales in a small village and served in the Wales Army. Later, to become a United States citizen, he had to serve in The US Army for several years. He started a Mass Mutual Insurance Agency.I recall that he died at a very young age. His widow became a school nurse at the school my son Alun attended. Nurse Williams always reffered to Alun as her son. (she only had 8 or 9 female children.) Her husband's Mass Mutual Agency closed.Today, I decided to cash in my Life Insurance policy. At age 83, I have enough savings to get by and my burial is pre paid.However, my Mass Mutual Agent is not available. Corporate still prints his name as my Agent, but noone knows him. No phone listed under his name. Employees of MassMutual don't recall meeting him. Strange that my agent is no longer working for Mass mutual.I received no help from Mass Mutual to cash my policy. I wanted the forms sent to me, but first I had to reveal my Social Security number. I refused to give it out for security reasons. I asked to have the forms sent to me via over night delivery and MassMutual wanted my Credit Card number to pay mailing costs. What!!! I was a client since 1962. I never was late sending in my payments.My agent is missing. His name still appears on my renewal policy. The MassMutual Boston Office does not know my Agent? Why should I divulge my Social Security number and my Credit Card Number to MassMutual who use the Federal Mail delivery to assure me that I have An Agent, but in reality, I don't.I am certain that Mass Mutual was a fine Company in 1962. But as of today, I found that things have changed. For instance, Wells Fargo Bank has paid a huge fine. TD Bank won't cash my wife's Three Certificates of Deposit and don't know where the funds are. TD Bank in Nashua, NH closed recently. New Hampshire has very few State Chartered Banks. Federal Banks have taken over and are under the control of the Democrats and Republicans who cannot agree on providing safety at the Borders. Ruth Davis: Waited 32 minutes today. Someone said they could help me instead of me making an appointment. I stayed on the phone with her for about 15 more minutes. Then, she put me hold, then the phone went dead and hung up on me. I have spent the last 2 days trying to get a person, then, she hangs up on me. The on line portal kept telling .e my photo of my id was too big. So it wouldn't even sign me in. Then I got worried that I was being scammed by the app. I mean, is there really an irs app?
Punky: Keep trying to call the number given to make an appointment but I only ever get automated responses saying that there’s too many people calling and to call back at a later time or the next buisness day, been trying for a whole week and still can’t get hold of a real person. How are the lines always busy?!

Ms Gill helped us and even went above and beyond to make sure that our mortgage company got everything it needed right while we were there. Thank you SO much Ms Gill.

Also, any time you try to request any document online, they apparently can't identify your mortgage and credit card numbers even though you report it EVERY YEAR. What the hell do they even do all day? $11b for an agency that doesn't offer phone support, have a decent working website, mails you the wrong documents you request, and can't help you in person because apparently the internet is down EVERY SINGLE DAY. I don't get how incompetent a government agency can get
