kathleen sabella: I called 8:30 am on Sunday and was told I had to come in to make an appointment for 2 hours later in the morning. When I arrived for my appointment I had an hour wait in the waiting room, then went into exam and was told I was next…I had to go out to the desk after a 20 minute wait. The wait time is totally unacceptable! If they’re booking by appointment only and only 3 hours open please explain why they’re so far behind? No explanation was given. The receptionist was very nice but unfortunately I’m not sure I would go back.

Didn’t wait long to long to be called in, but it took forever for the PA to come in and look at me.What really surprised me was supposedly she prescribed me medication. She did not specify she was going to prescribe me anything so I didn’t look at the notes that were given to me right away, but when I did, it says she prescribed a medication which was not sent to my pharmacy.

Adam M: Arrived 90 minutes before closing. Not a car in the parking lot. Not taking any more patients because of a “new system” and too many in already in rooms…. who I assume all walked there at night…. In December. Went to the actually “open” AFC Urgent Care across the street.
Carlos Torres: Called this location and the one in West Springfield a bit after 4 pm to ask if walk-in were still being accepted and was told the wait was 4 hours which puts it past closing so my daughter was most likely not going to be seen. What a coincidence both locations have a 4 hour wait 4 hours before they close, not suspicious at all.

The girl on the phone said yes so I headed over there from chicopee when I got there I told them who I was and I had just called. Then they went on to ask me if I minded waiting a hour and a half. PIus i shouldn't have to subject all those people sitting there to my chronic cough. needless to say they threw me out. And don't let them tell you it was because I was rude. David Wezniak: In my years in the medical field I have NEVER seen someone act the way the MA did at this location. Falsifying medical reports is a serious problem and when a patient has high blood pressure at the time of visit, you are supposed to record the exact pressure reading, and check it again after the visit. Instead they just wrote a normal reading (after telling me it was much higher!). Then putting a body temp down without actually checking my temp....again, documented a normal reading. When asked pain scale, I reported 6 he documented 4. You have better luck and care at an ER. Thisnplace is a joke

This time around the check-in process is ridiculous and you make patients do ALL THE WORK. Checking in on a nasty tablet that aren’t wiped down after every patient uses it. Then checking in again on your cell phone?! Absurd. During my visit the computers went down. This making patients fill out ANOTHER form answering the same questions for a third time. All this waiting for 3 hours for me to be told I should probably go to an emergency room. Staff should be well informed enough to make proper judgement on when to send someone elsewhere or let them sit and wait.Will never go back to or recommend this place to anyone.

Rachel Rivera: Has on MH that they’re accepting new patients, but when I called they refused to see my 1 month old newborn. I spoke with Sherry who I explained having called about 20 different Peds who all refused a 1 month old new patient. I also explained my son was Frank Breech and needed to be seen for a scan on his legs as well. She put me on hold to speak with someone. She then told me that the practice approved to see him and that I would just have to change his plan to the Be Healthy Plan and call back to schedule his appt (she was going to give me the 28th of this month). She also told me she was going to write a note in the system so when I called back no one would give me an issue. I did exactly what she said and called back 16 minutes later and spoke with a different lady who apologized with a giggle and said bc my son was a little over 1 month that they couldn’t accept him as a new pt and that Sherry was new there and she had given me the wrong information. Thank you for refusing to see my newborn who is 43 days old, you have lived up to your horrible reviews.

Ali D: I was sent there for a pre-employment physical. I sat in the waiting room for an hour and 45 minutes then I got brought into the exam room and I sat there for another half hour. The physical exam took about 10 minutes and it was a total waste of my 1 day off. Not to mention when they did my eye exam for pre-employment they wrote down that I have 20/20 vision I wear glasses and did not have my glasses on and know for a fact I do not have 20/20 Vision in both my eyes. I could have said whatever I wanted I could have lied about my past history and they would never know the difference. Just goes to show you a pre-employment physical that determines whether or not you're fit for security work police officer work or armed guard work through this company is not trustworthy thank God I actually am in good physical health!!

They contacted me when the wait was approximately 20 minutes until my turn so I returned to the clinic. After a short wait I was taken right in and provided with great care . Jennifer Marshall: I went in with a referral from an orthopedic surgeon. The surgeon was under the impression I either had a UTI or a serious nerve rupture in my spine. I thought going into urgent care would be fast to get a UTI test done before getting specialized imaging at the emergency room. This location was 5 mins away and the emergency room was over 30 mins away. I informed the staff at the desk and gave them the write up. They showed the PA on staff and still had me wait hours because “it wasn’t an emergency”. I ended up not having a UTI or the nerve rupture, but I did have a herniated disc. If I had the nerve rupture the time waiting for urgent care that should’ve been immediate would have delayed my treatment and possibly left me paralyzed and/or incontinent for the rest of my life.

Heidi Dube: Worst place. Went in for a car accident and because I have a headset since the accident and I've had laryngitis for 3 weeks I had to have a negative vovid test. My symptoms were from totally different things. Also don't ever go there within the last 3-4 hours they are supposed to be open until because the always close early with not one person in the waiting room.

If you don’t want to do your job and attend patients then close the dam building because you’re not in service! If you turn people away and I was turned away 3 times on the same day by urgent care walk-in S please don’t tell parents where they can go and drive all over the dam place your ridiculous don’t give resources that are fake and not hopeful!! You are careless and dangerous to health. Practice what you preach repeatedly because you’re lying. Stay closed and don’t say you’re open because you can’t even answer the phone neither.

A.M R.P.: Worst place ever. Today i went with my mom to her respiratory test on the next building. 3300 main st. And clearly she was shaking and short of breath after the test. A very nice Doctor on this facility (3300 main st) told me to go right away to URGENT CARE. Which I did, and right away with me even explain this nurse told me that it was better for my mom to go to ER. Come on was a emergency! Whats the point of me paying taxes for everything plus every year ? For this ?Or what!
Danielle C: Went for ear pain causing a sore throat (no other symptoms) and they refused to see me in person due to the sore throat being a Covid symptom. Offered to schedule a telephone visit and can "prescribe antibiotics over the phone." That doesn't make sense. Blindly diagnosing over the phone without a physical exam is not providing good healthcare. Covid is not new. We are two years + into this pandemic and people should not be turned away for in person care. All that is going to do is force people into going to the ER for non- emergent illnesses.

Use the boatloads of money you charge to see people to hire more staff and pay them better so you can see patients. Wish I could use that excuse of its too busy at my jobs. They just gave me a sheet of paper for other places and told me good luck. Took a Lyft here for nothing after checking hours online.

madison picard: The staff here - from the front desk to the nurses to the PA - are SO kind. I cut my finger open and I went to get stitches and everyone was so sweet and accommodating (especially the nurse Ginger!). I went back a week later to have the stitches removed and was treated by a new nurse/doctor whose names I can't remember, but they were just as sweet and quick & easy.
Erin L: This practice is always the best. There are a few local practices like AFC along these lines and they are all pretty good but Baystate has the absolute nicest staff. Usually wait times are a little shorter than the competitors too. Good COVID practices and again the nicest staff around make this the first choice for my Urgent Care needs.

MARISSA Surbaugh: One again thank you to the medical team that helped out with our 1 month old son. This is the second time they treated our son with the upmost respect and the one on one with him. Thank you to the nursing staff they always made sure our son and us had what we needed at all times and thank you to the doctors that kept us updated through the process on what to expect and not expect.
Jose Cabrera: Today April 19 came into this hospital with leg pain. I was seen at triage and they told me I might have a blood clot, but yet they have me sitting here for over 8hrs and they tell me I need to sit here and wait. This is insane. You will die here

wifi ad: Some of the doctors in the hospital seem to be from India recently with a heavy Indian accent. It seems like they might have come here during the pandemic when there was a healthcare provider shortage. This doesn't necessarily mean that these are good doctors. This hospital needs better doctors. Nurses are very nice even though they are from other countries.

Daniel Lynch: I declined everything I could, spent less than 20 minutes getting attention (at the hospital for less than an hour total), it wasn't an emergency, I wasn't in critical condition, my vitals weren't even elevated, and yet was given zero information or choice about my brief treatment then was sent a $7000 total bill. They're not compliant with 45 CFR 180, they intentionally added unnecessary and hyperinflated items to the bill, and didn't take the dispute seriously. I hope the employees that saw me that day get paid over a $1000 an hour, because that's the only way the charges make sense. One Ex: They said I had to take a Covid test, which I tried to decline, then charged $182 for it. Meanwhile they set me loose before even getting the results so obviously it didn't effect the care at all. Just another money gouging method.

Marc Caldwell: The most impersonal hospital ive ever been too. My daughter went into labor and Baystate is where they had arranged to go to. When we got there There was no triage done and her contractions got closer we had to keep asking for assistance from the security guard. After about 45 min someone finally come and got her. We had several family members there and all had to wait in the general er waiting room. There were family or other waiting rooms. Absolutely the worst hospital process ive been through. Throughout the deliverly process there was no way to get any updates. I would never go back there. Find another hospital to go to
Keana Whitfield: I usually hate coming here because of the wait time but I do understand that they are busy saving lives behind the scenes. Anyway I came here because I was having problems with my trach. I was having shortness of breathe and when I made it to the front desk one of the workers immediately saw something was wrong with me and rushed me to admissions. While waiting to be checked in the other nurses also rushed to my attention because I was having a really hard time breathing. They took me to the back and assured me I was in good hands and I was. They did everything they could to control my breathing and I’m so thankful for those ED nurses who acted fast because that was so scary for me. Everyone at baystate is nice and everyone focuses on care. I have plenty of great experiences here but that one really took it up a notch. Thank you 🙏🏾

Patrick Gregory: Unfortunately not all trips are born out of pleasure or business. My sister was admitted to this hospital after suffering a massive heart attack. I made the frantic trip home to Massachusetts , dreading every ring of my phone. My sister was critical, requiring a hybrid type of heart bypass surgery. Getting to the point , this hospital was impressive from the attendants who valet parked my truck to the surgeons who saved my sister’s life!!! The nurses in attendance at the Mass Mutual CCU were without a doubt absolutely incredible! Their attitude, professionalism ,compassion and commitment to their profession played a critical role in the successful outcome of my sister’s life threatening condition . My hat is off and my heartfelt thank you goes out to all of them

The Real D Nation: I been in this emergency room since 11 am still waiting to be seen this is the slowest hospital service I have ever seen in my entire life I recommend if your ever in need to be seen go somewhere else worst hospital in Massachusetts I even asked for a doctors note for my job after sitting here for 7 hours and they told me no not without being seen I watched people come in after me and leave already by the time I get seen it will be 12pm and I came here at 11am the way they treat people is horrible planning to file a lawsuit I just sat there from 11am to 733 pm and still never was seeing or given a note stating I was there
Wigwam Luc: Definitely a no star rating. 98 year old grandmother goes by ambulance to Baystate er at 7:30pm - due to a fall. In pain- at 2:30am we are told she can go home vitals all clear - ct scan and xrays are clear as well. I said absolutely not she can’t stand and is in agony- the dr responds oh really? Thats not in her notes. Seriously??!! After insisting they do more scans low and behold- 2 fractures in leg also ankle and foot! Oh but she is fine ! Go anywhere else but Baystate. I need a whole new review for the front desk and security- just as bad.
Jay O: I cannot explain the exceptional job the doctors, RN's, CNA'S, medical interpreters and specialty doctors such as nephrologists, respiratory care personnel have done while caring for my mother. The rapid and professional approach is noticeable. The care, communication and treatment is clear, concise and within the ethical means. From the ER to the 5th fl. (Daly) the treatment has been great. The hospital is clean, the temperature appropriate and environmentally safe. Needless to say, this is the only hospital we consider for my family.
Ahpakach Yo: *Be warn* this hospital will make you wait in the waiting room for very long hours👉over 13 hours without treatment, without seeing a doctor forcing you to leave then send you a large bill for just sitting in the waiting room. This hospital is running an insurance fraud/scam on patient's insurance, BBB should be investigating this hospital.
L C: In ER. Nurses told us no one in ER waiting room getting seen today because they are full. That unless we are dying we aren't getting seen. When I ask for my labs they said i need to wait until a room becomes available which isn't until much later the next day. At least if they released the labs you can make an educated decisión on wether to leave or not. The wait is insane.
