I witnessed a rude customer giving the staff a hard time and it was upsetting to watch. This staff is so patient with the public,especially a gal named Tiffany. NANCY: I frequent this UPS store on Riverdale Road at least a few times a month and it's about time I write a review for the awesome staff at this location. I have been in numerous times and I have witnessed how rudely the staff is treated by a large portion of their clientele. The staff is just trying to do their jobs. Tara, Shawn & Tiffany go above and beyond in providing excellent customer service! They take the time to explain to customers how to properly pack their returns and also advise that the instructions are provided in their emails as well. I go to this location because of their superior customer support. They're always very friendly- service with a smile. Keep up the great work! Great job in keeping your composure too. Please be kind to these hard workers. Thank you!

I just got out of the hospital - my best friend died, I asked for help on two pair jeans that were the same retrieved the codes - but was very rude. I know these pass two years have been tough but this does not give anybody the right to laugh at a crying woman. I will never return. Just look at the reviews of this place. How can this place keep operating - they are terrible to their customers - they will get it in return - karma goes around, but would it not be nice just to be kind while doing you job?

Trish Baez: Went to drop off 2 items being returned to Amazon. Said no package or box required. There were 2 items, same saller, to 2 return codes. The girl only scanned 1. I asked her and she said there is only 1 package, that is how I received 15 minutes ago! Just scan both codes. After trying to explain to her I simply took the Items out of the envelope and threw it away. She then scanned the other code and asked where my packaging was. Not needed I saidand walked out. They are very very rude there and lack any common sense. Won't be back.

Tariq Faridi: My package was fully packed. I just needed maybe 4 inch piece of tape for the package today beflre shippimg, 4 INCHES, and Diane at the front desk said I need to pay $2 for it. She said I have a QR code for return so customer has to package it fully otherwise they'll charge 2 dollars. My item was fully packed,, I just needed a 4 inch piece of tape. I asked to speak to a manager and she said manager is not here, and the other person there also said it's a policy. They clearly lack common sense , to make exceptions in certain situations. I have shipped alot of things because of my business from UPS and I was never asked to pay $2 for a tiny piece of tape. I asked her if she can just put the tape today and Noelle that I know I will make sure it's fully packaged, but she didn't accommodate. Next time I'll choose PICK ITEM from my hiuse for Amazon returns instead of me dropping it off. Not visiting this UPS store, they can come to my house.Dear owner, my item was PACKAGED AND SEALED. I just needed a 4 inch tape, and it was right on the table which she didn't let me use. I even told her I didn't know about this policy in the future ill make sure it's fully sealed. I have a business and have policies too, but I let my employees use common sense and focus on customer service.

My packages have gone through numerous post offices for its delivery across state lines, and then it hit Springfield and completely stopped it’s route, they should’ve been delivered 3 days ago, and normally something like this would be fine but nobody is notifying me of a thing, there have been no warnings, and if I may say this is quite the anomaly. I’d travel there but it’s 4 hours out of my way.

Kim: Honestly this has been the worse experience I've had with a company/government office. I sent information to the US Social Security Administration back in January 2015. It was return receipt. It's been sitting with the post office since then saying it's in-transit/delayed. What the hell does that mean? And how can it be in that status for that long? Once I found out the status I tried to file a case in February but haven't heard from anyone until today. In addition I tried calling the USPS to speak with someone and that was a nightmare. I opted for the call back option so I didn't have to sit on hold. The first time they called back it gave a busy signal and hung up. So I called again and opted for the call back method again. This time I did speak with someone. She wasn't very courteous. She asked for my phone number and I said 'You just called it' but she told me it was automated and that she would give me her supervisor. I didn't even ask for that...I was on hold for 7 minutes before the system hung up on me...again.I am doing all of this for my mother so she then tried contacting the local post office in her town and they saw the case I filed. They said they would get back to her within 24 hours. No one called back.How difficult is it to keep up with mail that is supposed to be tracked and in a computer system? Their customer service really sucks.After more digging it appears the address given to me for the Social Security Administration was an old one so I don't believe they are there anymore. What I don't understand is why the letter was not returned back to the address listed on it? Isn't that the purpose when the mail is undeliverable?If companies had their customer service and ran their business the way the post office does they wouldn't be very successful.Extremely disappointed customer!

The main door does not even have the time that the store opens, I am really not coming back, I called the west Springfield office and they open at 8:30 am like everyone else.

Dawn S: Saturday hours are posted online and on the doors as 9-1. Got to the PO at 12:40 today and the doors were locked. Guy inside didn’t bat an eye. 4 other people arrived in the time I sat there, banging on the door, waving to him. He walks in the back and never came out again.

John Rhoades: 80% of the time I'm supposed to get a package, I get a "Sorry we missed you!" slip instead. They never actually knock or anything. They ignore the slip when they come back and I've signed it and checked "leave package here" or whatever it is. They always tell me my package is at the main post office when I go down with the slip. It never is. For some reason they think my house is on the main office's route. It isn't. I end up going back and forth between the two for two hours, and finally they decide it must be out for delivery, regardless of whether I've asked them to hold it for pickup. This exact scenario has destroyed at least 20 hours of my life. It's almost farcical.Yesterday they delivered a package to someone else at my house, but didn't deliver the already one day late overnight delivery I really need. Instead the tracking was marked "could not get to front door, mailbox, or driveway". Insane.

Jesse Taylor: This is the worst USPS I have ever been to. I sent a certified letter with legal documents in it last week. It was supposed to be delivered to a location that is under an hour away from the USPS. I signed up for updates to keep track. I got an update that said it was leaving the Springfield USPS and was heading for Hartford, CT. When I checked it later, it was in Albany, NY. When I checked this morning, it had arrived in East Schodack, NY. (I have never heard about that town in my life.) I printed up and filled out a form to get my money back and brought it in with my receipts from the post office, including the certified mail. The woman I spoke to said they don't give refunds. I pointed to the form on the counter, which I got from USPS.COM, and said, "This form that I got from your site says you do." She snapped at me, "We don't give refunds." I asked her if they didn't, then why did I find the form on their site. She repeated, "No refunds." I said, "Thank you SO much for being part of the problem. You're doing a GREAT JOB!" and walked out.I will never step one foot in this post office ever again. They don't have any clue of what they're doing at all and they couldn't care less about providing good service. #shameonthem

Waited in what seemed to be the line for the people doing passports before being told we had to get sent back to the same line as people doing their packages. After probably 40 min of waiting in line just to be seen, we are told that we need to go back to the original line we had waited in. Completely ridiculous communication that just sends people on a goose chase. What should have been a 15 minute task took about an hour and a half because these lazy employees don’t even know where they are working. If you can, go somewhere else. This place is the absolute worst.

Sarah Jayleen: one of the employees named ERIC was very unprofessional and disrespectful when I dropped of my package. I came in with 2 packages and as I was coming in he rushed to the door and spoke in a very HIGH tone "WE ARE CLOSING SO THIS BETTER BE QUICK" Sir its not my problem the door was not closed. I find this comment very inappropriate. NOONE should be spoked to like this. I find this very disrespectful. I work in the healthcare field and patients come in late however I would NEVER speak like this to any of my patients. WHO SAYS SUCH A THING LIKE THIS TO CUSTOMERS??

They are great here and very patient.Edit: just read some of the other reviews and the low reviews mostly have to do with UPS delivery trucks, not this store itself. Pack your boxes better and you won't have any broken goods and if it does break it's 90% of the time the delivery person dropping or throwing the package, not the clerks in the office.This location is amazing. bill Miller: My wife dropped off a heavy package at this location & went back to the car to get another package for drop off & told me she saw the girl behind the counter take the heavy package and push it off the of the scale onto the counter top & then onto to the floor causing the package to hit the floor making a loud noise when it hit the floor. I do not know of the package is broken or not, but I already reported this to the buyer of the package & I am going to report this to Usp main headquarters as well. I have had a large package break in the mail with this Ups store in the past & they should not intentionally push a customer's package on to the floor from a high distance & should get help carrying the package if it is too heavy for them to carry ( my wife weighs about 120lbs & carried this package in by her self from my car. No reason this worker could not have gently lowered it to the floor rather than push it off of the counter . This is ridiculous & I would like this package back so it can be inspected for damages! And after reporting this to my customer he is upset with me!
