Misslita143: The lady at the counter was very friendly and welcoming, she did her best to accommodate me, the prices were very good and the location was great. They were some downfalls like somebody tried to get into my room and was only stopped by the ball latch hook but I'm pretty sure it was somebody from housekeeping because they used a key to try to get in, they forgot to shut the door tightly and left it cracked, the beds were awful squeaky hard as a rock and it felt like I was sleeping on plywood, and they had cockroaches. They were little and few and far between but they were there. Very scary.

boston sprockette (Amy lake): My mother was harassed for her disability. She was staying over for the holiday and I had been running her card to the office. We thought we paid for three days, and when we realized that there had been a mistake and we only were charged for 2, they asked me to run the card. I was not available. My mother was not able to walk her card around the building and into the office. Their solution was to call the cops on her. They could have just walked down to her room to get the card, like many other hotels have done. I think maybe the town's homeless stay there and the front desk person is sick of dealing with it. If that's the case, he needs a new job. Don't assume everyone's out to scam you or trying to steal a free night. Some people just can't walk that well.

Nunya Bizniss: My friend and I went to Boston and Springfield for the weekend of November 18-21. Check-in took FOREVER! We were placed in one of the separate buildings which appears to be undergoing renovation. Fine, I get it, you have to renovate at some point, right? But, this stay was pretty foul! The building itself appeared to be falling apart. The overhang had no paneling, lights and ceiling boxes, insulation, all were visibly hanging out. There were broken screens on many of the windows. Then, we step into the room. The smell of stale smoke and ash nearly knocked us over! But beyond that, the toilet seat was broken, the walls were dirty, and the whole room was simply gross. Now, my friend booked this room, so I didn't complain too much. But keep in mind, neither of us smokes! And he said he asked for a non-smoking room. But, we were only going to be staying one night, and spent most of that time out and about anyway. So, we sucked it up and dealt with it. If I had booked this room, I definitely would have asked for a different room, at minimum.

James Diamond: First off it's a motel not a hotel. First room kinda smelled weird and when we used the bathroom the toilet wouldn't go down. They moved us upstairs which was nice and it was quiet definitely cleaner. Beds were advertised as a queen it was a full. For the money spent and just location it was an ok deal. Oh yeah second toilet wouldn't flush fully either

Cheryl S: Nice clean motel. Stayed there four days, three nights for a mini quilt retreat. Very friendly staff. The only issue I and another friend had was the fridge, in our room, solidly froze our food we brought for our lunch and supper. Dunkin Donuts is next to the parking lot but no restaurants are within walking distance. Motel is right off the highway and about 30 mins from Bradley Airport. Dogs are also allowed for a fee. I would recommend staying there.Rooms: Rooms are very clean. Refrigerator and microwave are included, however, in two of the rooms the food got totally frozen in the fridge.Nearby activities: MGM Casino, Mass Mutual Center, Basketball Hall of Fame, the Big E, Springfield Armory and Dr Seuss to name a few.Safety: Plenty of safe, well lit parking in the front and back of motel.Walkability: Where this motel is located, there's nothing really close by to walk to, except Dunkin Donuts.

Rachel Darr: My husband and I stayed here for 2 separate occasions, but within the same month. I was having surgery at Baystate Hospital, so this hotel was incredibly convenient for us. Also, this hotel is right next to the freeways, so I imagine it's convenient for most people. The 1st stay was for one night for two adults. The place was pretty quiet and the staff were very kind and attentive. My only real complaint was that the toilet in our room wasn't properly secured to the floor, so it wobbled while in use. The 2nd stay was for two nights for two adults and a medium-large dog. It was much busier this time with lots of kids running around, but that didn't bother us. The staff were still very kind and attentive. Our room smelled mildly musty, but that didn't bother us, either. The toilet in this room also wasn't properly secured to the floor, but it didn't wobble as much. Also, this room had doors on opposite walls that led to other rooms, which was only mildly problematic the first night. We had to call the front desk at 1am because the people in the room next to us starting blaring music and talking super loud, but the front desk immediately intervened and luckily the folks making the noise obliged and were fairly quiet from that point on. My husband and our dog stayed in the room by themselves the 2nd night because I was in the hospital, but he reported that it was much quieter that night. All in all, this place is pretty stellar for the price. Don't expect the Ritz and you'll probably find yourself comfortable here. We will definitely be staying here again!

I am honestly extremely disappointed in this company and will never stay at one of these hotels in my lifetime again even when I’m over 21. For future reference, if you have a policy that forbids people under 21. (I’m 19) to stay at your establishment. V Singh: The check in process was great, I am glad that someone is always at the front desk. The rooms are good but some of the brand amenities are not up to standard. Many times the pool is not clean and the fitness center is missing 4 weights. I know you'll ask me to go through the hilton website to look into this further but I don't really think there needs to be an investigation.

Mahalia Minton: I am currently staying at this hotel and have been here for two days for an event at the Mass Mutual Center. I didn’t expect much but I was pleasantly surprised with my stay here. The breakfast was great (they had an actual warm food breakfast rather than just pastries), the service is amazing, friendly, and so accommodating, and everything was very clean. There is a pool, fitness center, and beverages, free of charge, available throughout the day. Each time I come to Springfield this will be where I stay.Walkability: You’re in the center of anything you need. I went and ate at three different restaurants, gambled at the casino, stopped a CVS, and saw a show at the Mutual Center. Never needed to or moved my car once. Everything is located in a short (very short) walking distance.Food & drinks: There are so many food options only feet away from you. Korean, Italian, American, Spanish, and event a great spot for açaí bowls, smoothies and Buddha bowls for healthier options. Park your car and leave it because you can walk anywhere you want to go.
Nancy Kraft: Our room was across the street from a bar. The weather was nice and they took the party outside. Drunk people yelling all night. Sounded like a big party until nearly 4 am! And on a Tuesday! Wednesday was a rough day for me. Couldn’t they do something about this? Like call the police? Other than being unable to sleep, everything about our stay was lovely.

Sierra Janelle: Late review!! I was in town for funeral services of a family member and I was feeling really low. I had an issue with the room that was assigned, but I must say Charlene at the front desk to very good care of us, and she got us into a different room. She was so kind to us. In our grieving, to FEEL cared for during such a difficult time, is what made writing this review worth it. The hotel is next to literally everything we needed!! Great views even down to the restaurants...everything was great. Thank you so much again! Charlene is an example of great customer service! 5 Star service!

Dr. Tyler: Horrible. Balcony sliding door did not keep noise from highway. Could barely sleep. Hallways are dimmly lit. Something like a horror movie. Walls are thin, someone was getting it good for about an hour in the middle of the night while im just trying to play some damn pokemon before i go play in a massive pool tournament the next day. Hallways smell so wierd , its such an obscure smell that i cant describe it. Theres a big sign before the elevator that blocks off the entire first floor of hotel rooms, definitely a little girl in a white dress that comes out at night there. I payed for 2 nights but left before my second night because i wasnt staying there again. And i would pay to not stay there again. Pretty much just Dont stay here. Staff was friendly, only thing they have going for them. Just go to starbucks for Breakfast, who tf knows what's in there waffle mix.
Kimberly Shoen: This is a clean, no frills hotel, that is conveniently located just off an exit. Its just over 15 Minutes from Mt. Holyoke and is in a road strip of food and shopping options. Breakfast is standard fair with make your own waffles, and the breakfast room is clean and spacicious. The room was clean with a nice sized refrigerator and microwave. It also had a small table and chairs, as well as a desk and chair and a balcony. The bedding was nicer than I expected for the price. The fitness room is 3 treadmills and an elliptical in a tiny room so do not expect a real fitness center. Pool is seasonal only. For a quick easy stay, this works.

Bill Kisselstein: Stayed one night Jan 27th. Check in was easy, staff was friendly. Room was clean, everything worked except coffee maker needed cord positioned just right to stay on. Breakfast was good. It does show some wear and I could nitpick little things but almost all hotels are like that, I don't care if it's not perfect. This hotel still has carpets, in fact they seemed new, clean and bright. Probably the only goofy thing was I had to bring the desk chair back in from the balcony where presumably a previous guest had left it. Our third floor room included hair dryer, previously mentioned coffee maker, microwave, mini fridge with separate freezer section, iron and board, hair dryer, alarm clock, and Direct TV with local channels and some cable. I think it was a double Queen room, both beds had four pillows. Walk-in shower.
Pete Palma: Asked about the shelter group that rents the bottom floor, was not informed about. Management was very un easy when asked, why was I not informed they can only use half the bottom floor and we as guests can not walk through the hallway.. you shouldn't have a shelter at a kids hotel

Lauren Chausse: I was transitioning from one place to another so I had to stay at the quality Inn for five days. I noticed that I had bites all over my body from the first room so they switched me to another room. My apartment is not gonna be available until tomorrow but they will not let me stay another night. The room was available and then I literally came back down to the front desk probably three minutes after that and they said everything was booked. I’ve been so nice to every single person here and they’ve made me feel like I’m an inconvenience. Josephine Murphy: So. The first red flag was when I got into the shower a roach scurried away. Fast as can be… I should have left!!! It was outdated, dirty sheets with hair and stunk of mold and smoke. I was passing through and needed to just make it through the night. I can do it right? I should have stayed in my car! I woke up about 2am to feeling a little tickle on my ear. I slapped it away thinking it was the sheet. A few minutes pass. I feel it again. A rat. A. RAT. I left right there. Do NOT stay here. If there’s nothing left in the state- do NOT stay here. It has really gone down hill compared to the last time 15 years ago I stayed here for the night.

Dora Venette: At the end of the day it was an avail room for a smoker. The rooms were very dingy and out dated. The pictures on the website def do not represent how it acctually is. There was mold on the ceiling, the ceiling was peeling off in the bathroom. Thw bathroom door was on 1 hinge and did not secure. No housekeeping came after we asked for fresh towels. Just very disgusting I would never stay here again.

Mando: Pictures must be from 30 yrs ago and that’s not an exaggeration. The place is old. They do their best to clean and staff was nice but smoke and grime are in the rugs and walls. We walked in, got to our room and promptly left. Saving $50 isn’t worth possibly bringing bed bugs home. Lesson learned.

Kierra Mack: I wish I could give 0 stars I will never give these people my money again. I was quoted and received a receipt for one price but after my stay once I check my statement I see I was charged a totally different price. I stayed here 3/18/23. Today is 3/24/23 and the issue is still not resolved. The first time I called the person was very rude and gave me two different names when I asked for his name then when I offered to email or text proof that I was charged a different price he said "and what am I supposed to do about it on my end it doesn't show that price". The second time I called I asked for a manager and was sent to her voicemail I left a message and a day later still hadn't heard back. The next time I called I explained the situation again to another worker she gave me an email address to send my statement to. The next day I called twice and was told the person I had just spoken to during the first call of that day was not there although I had just spoken to them. By this time I'm frustrated but hoping since I emailed them proof someone would do something. I was wrong after not hearing from the manager or anyone I talked to previously I called again today and was told once again they don't see the price on their end and I should check with my bank when I asked why no one got back to me once I sent proof I was told the manager is working on it yet no one contacted me about ever even receiving my email so yes never again will I deal with these nasty people

I will never go to another Red Roof Inn ever! we changed rooms 3 times and all the beds were the same kind of filthy!! and to top it off when checkinh oit the lady had an attitude with Me. if they had bettwr customer service I probba bly wouod have given then 3 stars. Karla Panier: When we checked in they let us know they don’t do room service but twice a week. The next time they did room service we would be gone. Immediately when you walk into the room we rented, there’s an old smell. Everything is outdated, shower head is old and hard water stains. Everything about the place made me uncomfortable and annoyed that I couldn’t sleep well. Horrible experience.

Allyson Wynn: I just want to say how much I enjoyed staying at this hotel. Everyone was friendly and helpful, especially the night staff - Tammy and Marcella.I arrived in Springfield around 11pm, expecting to take a lyft from the train station to the hotel for my stay. I could not find a lyft anywhere in the city so I called the hotel to see if they had any suggestions because apparently Springfield does not have cab service either. Tammy was a rock star! She actually came and picked me up from the train station while Marcella tended tothe hotel. Then when I got to the hotel starving, they made suggestions for dinner and activities for the next day. I opted to purchase a frozen meal and a drink from the pantry; Marcella offered me plates, napkins, etc . for me to enjoy my meal as if I were out and about.The breakfast buffet was very good, the room comfortable and clean. Overall I had a fantastic stay but wanted to shoutout Tammy and Marcella for making it even better! Thank you ladies for saving the night for me!Nearby activities: NBA Hall of Fame Museum is across the parking lot, 7 min walk to the MGM Casino and 10 min walk to the Dr. Seuss Museum

Michele Lanci: I booked our stay through Expedia. We arrived at the hotel after driving three hours to be told Expedia canceled our trip. The receptionist said she couldn’t help us and there was no manager to speak to. I finally spoke to the manager Shane. He was rude. He spoke over me. He wouldn’t let me speak. He hung up on me and refused to come to the hotel. We had two families without a place to stay. We were over three hours from home. After waiting two hours another manager, Adam, helped us and we were able to stay. Not sure why we were told there were no rooms and then they found rooms. Our stay at the Hilton ruined our trip. I won’t use Expedia or stay at the Hilton if I can help it.

Robin Holden: It's a nice hotel, always has been. It can be a bit tricky to get around on and off the highway if it's your first time. There are place to eat within walking across the parking lot distance. The only issue was more times than not the elevator stank like weed, as did the area waiting for the elevator on the main level. The breakfast is better than many HGIs, but allow you self some time as it's not quick, but it is tasty and reasonably priced, I think the omelette was $12 with home fries and a side of breakfast meat.

No issues there, the front desk just did not give us our meal voucher when we first checked in and also when we called the front desk at night to ask them to bring an extra comforter they said they would and they never did. Other than that our room was great ! The curtains really block out sunlight which really allowed me to get some long overdue sleep.
