MARISSA Surbaugh: One again thank you to the medical team that helped out with our 1 month old son. This is the second time they treated our son with the upmost respect and the one on one with him. Thank you to the nursing staff they always made sure our son and us had what we needed at all times and thank you to the doctors that kept us updated through the process on what to expect and not expect.
Jose Cabrera: Today April 19 came into this hospital with leg pain. I was seen at triage and they told me I might have a blood clot, but yet they have me sitting here for over 8hrs and they tell me I need to sit here and wait. This is insane. You will die here

wifi ad: Some of the doctors in the hospital seem to be from India recently with a heavy Indian accent. It seems like they might have come here during the pandemic when there was a healthcare provider shortage. This doesn't necessarily mean that these are good doctors. This hospital needs better doctors. Nurses are very nice even though they are from other countries.

Daniel Lynch: I declined everything I could, spent less than 20 minutes getting attention (at the hospital for less than an hour total), it wasn't an emergency, I wasn't in critical condition, my vitals weren't even elevated, and yet was given zero information or choice about my brief treatment then was sent a $7000 total bill. They're not compliant with 45 CFR 180, they intentionally added unnecessary and hyperinflated items to the bill, and didn't take the dispute seriously. I hope the employees that saw me that day get paid over a $1000 an hour, because that's the only way the charges make sense. One Ex: They said I had to take a Covid test, which I tried to decline, then charged $182 for it. Meanwhile they set me loose before even getting the results so obviously it didn't effect the care at all. Just another money gouging method.

Marc Caldwell: The most impersonal hospital ive ever been too. My daughter went into labor and Baystate is where they had arranged to go to. When we got there There was no triage done and her contractions got closer we had to keep asking for assistance from the security guard. After about 45 min someone finally come and got her. We had several family members there and all had to wait in the general er waiting room. There were family or other waiting rooms. Absolutely the worst hospital process ive been through. Throughout the deliverly process there was no way to get any updates. I would never go back there. Find another hospital to go to
Keana Whitfield: I usually hate coming here because of the wait time but I do understand that they are busy saving lives behind the scenes. Anyway I came here because I was having problems with my trach. I was having shortness of breathe and when I made it to the front desk one of the workers immediately saw something was wrong with me and rushed me to admissions. While waiting to be checked in the other nurses also rushed to my attention because I was having a really hard time breathing. They took me to the back and assured me I was in good hands and I was. They did everything they could to control my breathing and I’m so thankful for those ED nurses who acted fast because that was so scary for me. Everyone at baystate is nice and everyone focuses on care. I have plenty of great experiences here but that one really took it up a notch. Thank you 🙏🏾

Patrick Gregory: Unfortunately not all trips are born out of pleasure or business. My sister was admitted to this hospital after suffering a massive heart attack. I made the frantic trip home to Massachusetts , dreading every ring of my phone. My sister was critical, requiring a hybrid type of heart bypass surgery. Getting to the point , this hospital was impressive from the attendants who valet parked my truck to the surgeons who saved my sister’s life!!! The nurses in attendance at the Mass Mutual CCU were without a doubt absolutely incredible! Their attitude, professionalism ,compassion and commitment to their profession played a critical role in the successful outcome of my sister’s life threatening condition . My hat is off and my heartfelt thank you goes out to all of them

The Real D Nation: I been in this emergency room since 11 am still waiting to be seen this is the slowest hospital service I have ever seen in my entire life I recommend if your ever in need to be seen go somewhere else worst hospital in Massachusetts I even asked for a doctors note for my job after sitting here for 7 hours and they told me no not without being seen I watched people come in after me and leave already by the time I get seen it will be 12pm and I came here at 11am the way they treat people is horrible planning to file a lawsuit I just sat there from 11am to 733 pm and still never was seeing or given a note stating I was there
Wigwam Luc: Definitely a no star rating. 98 year old grandmother goes by ambulance to Baystate er at 7:30pm - due to a fall. In pain- at 2:30am we are told she can go home vitals all clear - ct scan and xrays are clear as well. I said absolutely not she can’t stand and is in agony- the dr responds oh really? Thats not in her notes. Seriously??!! After insisting they do more scans low and behold- 2 fractures in leg also ankle and foot! Oh but she is fine ! Go anywhere else but Baystate. I need a whole new review for the front desk and security- just as bad.
Jay O: I cannot explain the exceptional job the doctors, RN's, CNA'S, medical interpreters and specialty doctors such as nephrologists, respiratory care personnel have done while caring for my mother. The rapid and professional approach is noticeable. The care, communication and treatment is clear, concise and within the ethical means. From the ER to the 5th fl. (Daly) the treatment has been great. The hospital is clean, the temperature appropriate and environmentally safe. Needless to say, this is the only hospital we consider for my family.
Ahpakach Yo: *Be warn* this hospital will make you wait in the waiting room for very long hours👉over 13 hours without treatment, without seeing a doctor forcing you to leave then send you a large bill for just sitting in the waiting room. This hospital is running an insurance fraud/scam on patient's insurance, BBB should be investigating this hospital.
L C: In ER. Nurses told us no one in ER waiting room getting seen today because they are full. That unless we are dying we aren't getting seen. When I ask for my labs they said i need to wait until a room becomes available which isn't until much later the next day. At least if they released the labs you can make an educated decisión on wether to leave or not. The wait is insane.

kim allaire: This was my first time here and I usually do not write a Review. The staff were all very friendly and Doctor Cecily Wiswall was Amazing. She didn't rush at all and was thorough with every part of my health. She answered all my questions and even looked up a vitamin I was taking to make sure it was right for me! Even the woman who makes the schedule and man who weighed me and took blood pressure were kind and happy! I can't say enough how refreshing it was to have such happy people take care of all my needs!
Jessi Gonzalez: Mason Square has been mines and many low-to middle class individuals care providers since diaper wearing days. I truly never had a problem here because when I did go I was always young and still curious. Now that I’m older I will be switching my providers because this is unacceptable. I Called 4 weeks in advance to set up a Medical Clarence and lab appointment requested by my surgeon. I was told there was nothing available and I’d be contacted back when so. When not hearing back, I continuously contacted them back and was told about an email going around and again, “I’d be updated about availability shortly.” When I finally got a call, I didn’t get my desired date and would have had to push my surgery 2-3 weeks back but I was satisfied I finally got the appointment. When feeling relived, I get a call back not even 2 hours from the appointment confirmation call just to be told that you no longer provide evaluations for OUT OF STATE SURGERY?! I don’t understand how that even works, nobody is going to get surgery in Massachusetts! I wouldn’t say that the receptionists were rude or unprofessional, honestly they were patient and I understand they can only do so much in THEIR position, but as a medical field ITSELF, you’ve showed me uncoordinated work.
Trish Nonya: This Drs office is the worse. You guys dont care about patients. You cancel appointments and don't let people know! Are you going to pay me for my time missed from work for a telephone appointment that I been sitting here the last two hours waiting for. Finally got ahold of someone at the office after about twenty minutes to tell me the person canceled. Nice of you to let me know. Sirena: Staff are beyond incompetent. They tell you they'll get back to you "at the end of the day" but neglect to tell you they never received the paperwork you sent in to them and therefore have nothing to get back to you about. They'll tell you they'll send you something but fail to inform you they cannot email and sharing of information must be done in person. You end up doing their work for them with how much you have to call and advocate for yourself. Long wait on the phone just to be transferred to the wrong person just to wait longer then getting hung up on.... the examples are endless. Staff do not know the difference between he and she when referring to a specific physician on the team therefore causing complications that shouldn't exist if they all understood how to do their jobs. Doctors are no better, making fake promises and never seeing through on them. Saying they would make referrals or prescriptions or complete paperwork that never got done. Not only that, but the building is in a bad neighborhood. You can see empty alcohol bottles litering the streets. Definitely leaving this place. Unfortunate. Never had a problem at any other Baystate facility but this one needs to hire more competent people. It's astonishing how these people are still working.

Tajinique Jones: Very unprofessional. I’ve been going since i was younger and I’ve always had bad experiences. Now that I’m an adult and i take care of my own appointments i can really see the unprofessionalism first hand. There’s been times i made an appointment and i get there and they tell me i don’t have one. One time i went for an emergency post covid and the nurse told me none of the doctors had returned from their lunch break when they were supposed to .. and i waited a long time before i left and still wasn’t seen. My last straw with this place was after they told me i would get a call to schedule my appointment because they couldn’t book me that far out and then never got a call. So taking matters in my own hand (because i really needed my appointment) i would call to try to schedule but i would always get the “we have to call you back to schedule” or when i would make a complaint about that i would get the “we will have the manager or nurse call you back” it was so much run around and i never got my appointment scheduled OR A CALL BACK.. Then out of no where i get a message saying I’m scheduled for this random day and time that they just gave me without confirming or calling me to see if that could even work that day. After that experience i had decided to leave the practice. I hope some day it’s handed over to a new team of management because i would never recommend this place to anyone.
Lecil Sweeting: To be completely honest my doctor Elizabeth Boyle is the best she always helps and attend to my care needs and Tanya Johnson is the very best employee up there she really loves and cares for her patients and will go to back for you if need be but just like every place there are some bad apples in the bunch but not every just a few but I been going to this place since they opened and would not trade them for nothing in the world

Matthew Creighton: I really think this place should be investigated for the way the handle patients. I needed a prescription changed because the one I was on was causing me some side effects. Instead of taking the time to look through my chart they called in a prescription I already have. Now I'm going to have to wait until Tuesday because of the holiday to get the proper medicine I need. How can they run a Drs office like this ? Nothing but issues with this place.***EDIT***: funny when someone leaves a bad review someone writes a good one not that long after. Brenda Medina: I went to the hospital months ago with severe pain in the waist and with a high fever and tremors and in the emergency room they left me in the waiting room for 12 hours and the nurse did not help me go to the bathroom, who helped me was another person who was in waiting room accompanying another person who was sick and she had to leave her father for a moment to help me go to the bathroom because the nurses on duty could not help me, the problem I had was starting to leak urine. I cried a lot because of that pain and the people who were there told the nurses to please let me in because I was very bad. Thanks to the incompetent people who work in the ER, today I have a bacteria lodged in my kidneys that has not gone away and I am taking medication for life, thanks for the incompetence of the people who work in the emergency room and more to the incompetent team overnight. And on the other hand they always have the excuse that they don't have a bed available. Mercy hospital is not like before, they changed the way of working. They work for money and not for the health of patients.

My treatment was so bad I'm honestly terrified to seek care when I need it now. The nursing staff was arrogant, blamed me for their mistakes, and left me in pain they caused after I bawled to the staff about it.

I have to say that what really stood out toe was the caring, compassionate care I received from my nurse, abc who made me feel so much better just with her level of empathy! Linda Neylon: Had a great experience at Mercy GI. A unit secretary named Margaret went above and beyond to get me in at an earlier time which was very important to me. She even found me later to say hello and introduce herself. The recovery nurses were fantastic.

Also, the young man, tech, in the radiology department ensured all my needs were met there. He even escorted me back to the pre OP unit. A great experience due to your outstanding staff.

sun shine/lovelylyz: I have been going to this location and they have been okay. However, there is a new NP. there who is phenomenal. Kate is what healthcare is all about! Patients should feel like they matter and not as if their just a number. She is personal, she follows up, and she works very hard to make sure you have all the resources needed for anything extra. Not sure where she came from but Baystate got it right with her. Im so happy that she's apart of my care team! Great job Baystate you found a gem! Kudos to you Kate H. you have put back the CARE in healthcare.
Jalisa Serrano: If your appointment is at 2:00pm don’t expect to be seen till 2:40pm and waste literally your whole day there just to be dismissed by doctors. No one takes the time to listen and understand what’s bothering you. All these doctors do is look at you if you don’t show TEXTBOOK symptoms then good luck ever trying to get a diagnosis or any kind of reassurance that you’re okay.
꧁Mis ty꧂: Bad place. Believe the reviews bc what they say is true. At one time i hurt my back so bad and I was in so much pain and some Doctor there named Mini told me I was fine and I was not. i had to talk to a Supervisor that day and they still did nothing about it, it was as if thry didn't believe i was really hurt. i never got the attention i deserved as a patient and was sent home with this pain. I was seenin the ER department and they told me i needed to follow up with my Primary Care Doc. But this doctor did NOT care about my injury at all. I had to spend 1 whole year with no improvement and it was unaceptable. When i finally chose to go to another Doctor at Mercy Hospital was immediately sent to get an Xray and it showed up i had a buldging disk with sciatica nerve pinched I couldnt even believe it. After going to Physical Therapy, this showed up in my chart and all of a sudden my chart was wiped out it was as if i was never seen there before and i no longer had acess to it. i have been requesting access to it thru email and i have not gotten a response. I was recently reffered to a GYN with them and have not heard from anyone. I no longer trust Baystate Hospitals for my personal Healthcare. Sorry!
Lindzy: The only reason I even come here is for my nurse practitioner not my primary care doctor.Receptionist are ghetto and rude. The wait with a scheduled appointment is too long and i blame the receptionist who are too busy socializing on their phone.. making us patients feel uncomfortable not knowing why a phone is out!!! doctors misdiagnose and prescribe things based on profits cause Cleary Pharmaceutical companies giving them Incentives no way every patient should have same scripts or diagnosis smh. It's hard to believe this place is associated with Baystate hospital
Brooklyn: This clinic has the worst quality of care. My husband and I have been going there for years and he’s been dealing with his health issues for years and no results yet. They brush off his concerns, worries and pain and attribute everything to anxiety. They don’t do any type of check up and they give you a pat on the shoulder and say see you next time. They tried the same thing with me but I left that clinic and now I’m waiting to start up in a new clinic with a new health plan. Waiting for my husband to do the same cause in reality this clinic,140 high street is not only not caring about its patient’s, they’re also misdiagnosing. Be very careful and think twice before going there.

Music Is Life: Personally I wouldnt recommend coming here at all. Many of their Doctors (and trust me you'll probably see all of them because they just pawn you off on whomever available) brush off symptoms and dont take concerns seriously, they book appointments without talking to you, and most of the time you will find yourself waiting long periods of times after your appointments supposed to begin wondering why your still a patient here as they take their time getting to your appointment sometimes thats more 40 mins so be sure to have an extra activity on hand whether your in person or on the phone. I highly recommend that if you so choose to come here that you get a lot of practice talking in the mirror because you'll need to get used talking to yourself because most your appointments will definitely be spent that way. Good luck to anyone who has seen this warning and decides to go here anyways.

B: If you're looking to book a appointment here don't do it or if you already go here you should definitely move to a different location. This is the worst location ever I'm always on time and always wait 30 min toa hour to get seen they barely have any openings and they either don't know what's wrong with you or diagnose you with something you don't have and put you on meds that you don't even need. ImI Currently ready to file a lawsuit against them
Jackie Laureano: The wait is a little ridiculous .. the bad smell in the bathrooms is horrible you feel until the waiting room I think that to be a health clinic they should be cleaner. The bacteria that must be worrying ... Otherwise I am satisfied with the treatment of doctors, nurses and practitioners.

But my Doctor is wonderful and on point, and listens to my concern and questions. For that reason it is with a wait. I give three star casue the waiting really sucks

Joe Lupien: I have had multiple visits from this company and everytime I answer a million questions on the phone, then the same questions in person. I have to beg to get my vitals checked. Then they barely address the issue at hand, pretend to collect more information that is supposedly being forwarded to the primary care. But for some reason the Dr never receives it, even after multiple visits and attempts. They gave us an 8 hour window from 8 to 4 and I kept my PCA here all day waiting because I can't walk and only she could let them in. After my mother spent the entire day on the phone trying to figure out an ETA they called at 530 to let us know they weren't coming 😑 😒 Top notch care, quality mission statement. BS!!

joanne leduc: I have used Dispatch Health five times so far; three times for my elderly uncle and twice for my elderly mother. In time, I am sure I will use them for myself. I cannot give enough praise to them for their professionalism, thoroughness, kindness, and convenience. Anyone caring for elderly relatives understands the challenges involved in getting them immediate attention with a doctor and the prep involved in getting them to those visits. My uncle's case required hiring a wheelchair van each time he had to leave home for a doctor visit as well. With Dispatch Health, it just required a call where I answered questions and a home visit followed. My relatives were cared for by Physician Assistants or Nurse Practitioners and I found them to be extremely thorough. In one case, they spent far more than an hour with my uncle, and they even hung an IV to infuse fluids to improve his BP. They also tested his blood, and with my mom they checked her urine and sent it off to a lab. In each case they prescribed needed medication, and I received follow up calls. With Medicare, the cost was minimal; but what was best was the comfort level that my relatives had being cared for in their own homes. I love Dispatch Health! They have brought back a service that has improved the quality of life for people needing medical attention. You don't have to be elderly to use them; it is a service that can be used instead of waiting in an urgent care facility and I can think of a few times I used urgent care for infections that would have been more pleasant/convenient in my own home.

LeighAnne Decoteau: "No appointments available the next 2 days" 3 minutes after getting a response there were appointments available today.Their response:1) Call earlier [which the site doesn't allow- it kept telling me the site was closed and try later].2) Call your primary [yep, already tried that]3) Try in person Urgent care [they are not accepting Walk ins].Not very urgent or helpful. And my insurance doesn't cover ER visits so that isn't an option.

Judy Marek: I did not feel comfortable driving or siting in a waiting room because I had a frequent productive cough. The PA and her assistant who came to my home were very professional, friendly and concerned. They did a thorough examination of by vital signs and my upper airway, then ordered a chest x-ray, and reported to me within a few hours that it was negative. They informed my PCP, who followed up with me the next day, and i am feeling much better within less than a week. This was a very comfortable and easy way for me to have my mind put to ease. I would call them again if I had another need.

Mark Perry: Dispatch health came to my home 2 hours after I called them and they were very very helpful. They took all my vital signs and ran some COVID and flu test. They also drew blood for tick bites. I think they were very professional when they showed up and I would recommend them to anyone that cannot travel
