Bill Coyle: I have been a customer of Santander for about 6 or 7 years now. I just have basic checking and savings accounts, nothing special. The tellers working up front have always been nice and helpful. They actually discovered my bank acct was compromised and someone was trying to make International transactions so they froze the acct and notified me by text, an email, and a phone call. They took care of everything so I'm not out any money. I also use their billpay option to pay my bills, the mobile check deposit option to deposit checks without going to a branch/ATM. Their mobile app works well. I would definitely do my banking here, they treat you the same whether you have $1 or $1,000,000 in your accounts.

craig spurlock: Worst bank ive ever had the "pleasure of using" so they stole hundreds of dollars from my girlfriend. Her sister got scammed and someone stole money from her account and her account went negative and since my girlfriend had the same last name they froze her account and said her family is under investigation and said they only thi k they could do is close the account and keep all of her money... how is this even legal. This company is a scam i would never use they dont care about customers or anything.

Dan Smith: Well, now I get why their rating is so low - I really should have checked before I walked in. Very long story short....I exceeded all of their criteria for a personal loan to get my roof and siding done. I also already had a line of credit from TD for 42K. All I was looking for was an increase from 42 to 58 and a slightly better interest rate. I brought two years of taxes and two current pay stubs. I was told I'd need, in essence, approximately 14 additional past tax forms....more than I needed to buy my house.....for 16k??They said there was no way around it. So I politely said no thank you, asked them to withdraw my application and went to another bank.Guess what? They didn't withdraw the application. And I was approved for 78K with NO FURTHER paperwork 2 weeks AFTER I told them to withdraw. These people are incredibly disorganized, which is a precursor to being unprofessional. Please bank somewhere else. I am so embarrassed to have wasted my time there.

Montel Jones: I was racially profiled at this location. The bank’s supervisor Kerry who would not tell me her last name but I found out it’s long. Kerry long refused to deposit my check, not cash just deposit my check because it was to high she said. So because of the amount and the fact that it read, my name and the father of, with my sons name after she said she will not take it because her treasurer “might” send it back. I told her to do her job and deposit the check and let the treasurer send it back if they feel as though they need to. So she voided my check and told me to have my lawyer issue me another one with ONLY my name on it

Kam V: Typically this branch is convenient + fast, but a few years later this has changed. Teller lines have become longer. Went to a Branch Manager after being hacked to have charges withdrawn, and after visiting another location they advised me that he was to print me another card. This did not happen. (mind you this is over the weekend and If I was to have an emergency I would not have had access to any of my funds). Not sure, never had probs here, maybe he was new?

Tim Carty: Consistently one of the worst banks on the planet. Understaffed always no matter what branch. Bad hours. I have to go for a business my company makes deposits for. Unless you might need international banking there is no way you should use this bank.
Douglas Quattrochi: I have a small business that was badly impacted by the pandemic. When I ran out of money, Bank of America started charging me "low balance" fees. Other local or online banks don't do that, so I opened a new account elsewhere (Capital One, Cornerstone, lots of options). But to complete my move, I have to close my Bank of America account. I went into their branch today. They wouldn't let me close out. I learned they don't allow small businesses to close their account at the teller, over the phone, or online. You must close by appointment. And the next available appointment is 12 days away. If the delay crossed a statement balance (which thankfully it doesn't) I could easily be charged another fee. To try to discourage me from going through with the closure, they said once I close my account, if anyone tries to debit or credit it, they will reopen the account and I will be charged more fees. Also, I will have to schedule _another_ appointment to close it a second time. They're wielding inefficiency as a weapon to keep me hostage. My advice is not to start. Open your accounts at a local bank or online. For instance, I can open and close business escrow accounts at Cornerstone across the street in three minutes. I am giving Bank of America "two stars" instead of "one" because, in light of recent events at Bank of America, I'm just glad this branch didn't try to have me arrested.

Hilary Doyle: There must have been a big change here since these other reviews. This was the best bank experience I have ever had. Someone very kind named Stephanie helped me immediately despite a long teller line. She got me all set for the meeting and new card I needed. She even took the extra time to teach me how to use a digital card at the atm. I was in and out in 10 minutes!

Tyler Charpentier: Go to the one in Shrewsbury. The people at this branch are rude and incompetent. I deposited a check of nearly $600 and they took that money OUT of my account. Teller was argumentative and refused to fix the problem until I asked for a supervisor. It's also the only branch I know of that has not opened the lobby since COVID cases declined, meaning if you don't have a car they make you walk up to their drive through window.

It was because I don’t have an account there but the check is from TD bank. I have been going to the TD banks with business checks for four years and never had a problem. He was rude and told me to take care of it because he had other customers. Very disappointed in his lack of knowledge in the situation and bed side manner.

D L: I had the worst experience with this bank and will never come back. They charged my mom $170 for overdraft fee without any notifications that her account went negative. I tried to call customer services, and they said what happened was the local bank deposit processing error and suggested me to come to talk them so they can give my mom the refund. My mom who does not know English came to see them the day later, she called me so I can talk to them through the phone. The guy who spoke with me was EXTREMELY RUDE, DOESN'T RESPECT THE CUSTOMER. He said it is my mom's responsibility to check on her bank account everyday; she doesn't know English, and I have my school work to take care of, how can I have time to check on her account everyday like he said? I tried to explain that it was not my mom's fault; her initial balance was over $1000 the last time I checked, then it just went straight down to -$200 the day after and then she was charged $170 for overdraft fee. But he did not listen to what the customer said, and even got mad, and then hung up the phone. THAT IS SO UNPROFESSIONAL AND RUDE. YOU AREN'T SUPPOSED TO TALK TO YOUR CUSTOMER THAT WAY. Poor my mom, she said while crying that she did not do anything wrong to get charged $170. AND THIS ALREADY HAPPENED TO HER TWICE. My mom doesn't know English, but she doesn't deserve to be treated that way. This guy, although he was born in America, he is Vietnamese and knows/understands/ speaks Vietnamese. But instead helping my mom who is probably like his mom/dad, he showed me the attitude of an ignorant person. Wish that I could put 0 STAR, 1 star for this evaluation is too generous for their customer service.
