James Timba: Fraud alert....be warned. Avoid this station for an inspection sticker. What a bunch of crooks. So blantantly dishonest. They will try to hold you hostage if you go for inspection sticker.The guy who inspected my car told me that my wiper blades would fail inspection and I needed new ones. To my shock, the wiper blades had been replaced less than a month ago. I ended up buying their unbranded low quality wiper blades that they were arm twisting me to buy for $25 just to avoid driving around with an 'R' sticker. I insisted I wanted to keep the old wiper blades to get an opinion from my reliable trustworthy mechanic. My mechanic confirmed that the so called warn out wiper blades would pass inspection anywhere else other than this station.

Maretta Poston: Worst customer service! Owner unwilling to explain or communicate issue, if inspection fails. Gave me a fail, I found out from personal friend mechanic, based on fail report. It was a $4.00 fix!!! I was heated..I was quoted $80 to get it to pass inspection. I have NEVER had my car fail for $4. And feel so assaulted by a " neighborhood company", I attempted to support during 2020. Will never return. Or recommend. Communication is key to referral business and life!

David Shreeve: Very disappointed. Called ahead about getting an oil change on a Saturday, was told to show up at 7am opening and that they did not book in advance. The next week I did just that. I was the only one there and was told that they were too busy for an oil change, that it was the last day of the month and they were going to be very busy with inspections.

I chose to wait as I had some place to go. I went back today to get it done his price he quoted was same today. I asked if he could do a oil change too he said sure. Oil change and outter tie rod was done in 1.25. I was impressed and will be recommending him to others. Inspection sticker can be done on Sunday and he does them. Thanks for a great job.

So I went to Mike's instead, the guy's were friendly, they took people in the order they arrived, they were quick. Everything about my experience was great, I'll definitely be going back to Mike again.

Stopped to use the air machine, popped a dollar in and it did not work. I walked over to the attendant, who could have cared less. He just did not care I was in a bad situation! Showed no sense of human kindness. Very sad this is what this business has become...

These folks managed to get my car fixed within the span of 2.5 hours from 4pm to 6:30pm without a prior appointment! It was such a relief to not have to leave the car overnight and figure out alternate transportation. I may have just gotten lucky but I was impressed nonetheless. S Db: Jim & sons serviced my vehicle and diagnosed and replaced the starter the same day it was towed to them. i am so pleased with the experience as a whole, all communications were very professional and polite very quick service (I was lucky to get them on a slower day but even so they wasted no time getting my car back to me) the price was very reasonable for the work that was done they did a really good job and correctly fixed the issue. You can tell they are very experienced and good at what they do. I have really struggled finding a good auto shop to go to with my car in the past and I have had work done on it and not had the problem resolved immediately knew I will not be returning to previous places but I'm so grateful to have the exact opposite experience with Jim and sons. after finding Jim and sons and having such a positive experience I can happily say I will absolutely be going back with any and all my car issues (I actually am bringing my car back in the upcoming week for a separate problem that's been going on for awhile and I've avoided but now I can confidently and excitedly bring it here to be resolved, that's how satisfied I was with them and the work they did) as well as recommend them to everyone I know. Finding a reliable honest professional mechanic is priceless and if I could give them 10 stars I would , don't listen to any of the bad reviews honestly this shop is amazing if you don't take your car here you are missing out and going to risk it with all these other shops in Worcester but I can guarantee that Jim and sons will not only treat you as a valued customer but also do a really good job with your vehicle at a realistic and honest price , thank you guys so much!

Bradley Hunt: I've used Jim and Sons twice for inspections. Being new to MA, they made the process easy and got me in and out quickly. I mostly handle my own repairs, but if I needed a repair that is above my pay grade, I wouldn't hesitate to take my car here. As to people complaining about perceived political leanings or COVID precautions, we are all individuals and entitled to our own opinions. While MA was the birthplace of the Revolution, it seems they don't really teach about it or the ideas behind it. Thanks for the great service.

Michael Jacobson: I came here for a vehicle inspection, which went smoothly enough. I came here because it is close by and most of the reviews on Google were positive. But I won't be back.-The guy doing my inspection didn't wear a mask. I didn't feel comfortable asking him to put one on based on the right wing rhetoric posted on the walls of the waiting area. After reading one of the other reviews, I'm glad I didn't! So he sat in my car with the windows up, heat on. When he delivered my car to me after the inspection I got in and didn't want to take my mask off. There was a strong smell of cigarettes even 10 minutes after the inspection. I drove around with the windows open to air it out.-The place just doesn't feel like a modern professional business. I'm new to the area and I get that a mom/pop small business like this is probably typical for Worcester, though it seems like things are changing somewhat. Just not my thing.

Rick(mgr) called to let me know that in fact is was not the diff. nor did I need new drum brakes but just new tires.
