On a trip from Boston back home to CT, I got a service transmission message and check engine light on my 2015 Jeep Cherokee. I was having trouble shifting into drive and accelerating - not a good situation to drive home from Boston with! My friend called around to about a dozen places to get it checked out to make sure we could make it back home safely, but no one would help us out. We were very grateful to finally call Interstate Transmission. They told us no problem, and squeezed us in between their other work. They cleared the code and I was able to drive home with no issues. Tomcat TomMA: You will not find a more courteous, patient and skilled group to diagnose and work on your transmission. Recently experiencing some elusive symptoms in my car. Another chain shop told me I needed a torque converter - part of the transmission. They weren't confident to do the work. That was lucky because after Steve and his crew checked out my vehicle, they said that I do not need a torque converter and recommended that I do NOT replace it. Clean bill of health at no charge. Even though he was full that day, he said to come in anyway so he could see if it was something that might be a quick fix. It wasn’t, but he told me to come in the next morning and reassured me it was still safe to drive. Came back the next morning to drop it off and the issue was solved later that day. Very happy with my experience and definitely will be going back to him. I could tell from the beginning that my car was in good hands.

Macy Drude: This is the most trustworthy mechanic I’ve come by. I have been duped by several mechanics over the past year—spending way too much money on a car that should have not been sold to me. I took it to Phil once I realized there’s a few things wrong with it to see if it was worth fixing. He told me it was not, but once he heard about my situation, he gave me a discount on the cost of service, which I felt was very nice. I wish I had found this place sooner! It would have saved me a lot of headaches over the past year. It’s a bit of a stereotype, but I’m a young girl who doesn’t know about cars… I think i’ve been scammed a lot by shady mechanics in the past. Orlando Colon: Phil is a very honest man and busy i have a 2013 chevy equinox that kept drawing power out of numerous New batteries took it to various shops threw warranty and they said nothing wrong even Chevy dealer left it for few days an nothing.... Finally came across Phil's auto repair told him take his time no rush this man did the work himself because it was a challenge that he even lost sleep behind this vehicle he even took pictures of everything he took apart to resolve the problem dashboard took apart finally found the problem two of the fuse boxes were faulty they were giving out power while car was turned off so far so good and gave us six months warranty on work.... He saved us from getting into a new car note thank you Phil may God continue to bless you and family.... I truly would recommend him not many honest mechanic out there.... 👍👌🙏

They would send me regular updates with photos and videos, letting me know what issues they found and what would need fixed. Jim has gone beyond the call of duty. He put a new engine in my Venza and realized my wiper is bad he replace with a new one with no extra charge. Jim is a wonderful man. I wish him more success.
Leanne Etre Mcpherson: Jim is an honest and trustworthy mechanic, which can be difficult to find these days. He found the issue, no one else could find in my BMW 325xi. He did have my car for 4 months but he fixed everything that needed to be fixed, even returning it to me with a new inspection sticker! He's not the cheapest, as it cost $2000 to compete the repairs, but do you really want the cheapest?Also keep in mind its a BMW. He's honest and performs the necessary work, without trying to fix things that don't need to be fixed, as others will attempt to do. He's fair, honest, and competitively priced. Keep in mind he fixed the issue literally NO ONE ELSE Z could figure out! For that alone he'll continue to be my mechanic for future repairs

Isabel Rummelhoff: Spoke with Scott directly when I needed an oil change and had only been going to the dealership previously. Happily got me in within a few days of calling and pointed out I needed new tires. Usually I am very skeptical of local mechanics after having some bad experiences at other private mechanics in Worcester. Scott showed me the tires and had me feel them and I was able to see myself they were almost completely bald. I appreciate a mechanic who is willing to teach me more about my car to make sure I was getting the right services. Btw the tire prices we far less than what I would have expected to pay elsewhere. Daniel French: Brought my car for a couple things I knew about and a few I wanted him to check out. They got right to work to diagnose and find parts. He also looked the car over for things that I'll need a little way down the road which is nice to be able to plan for preventative measures instead of a surprise breakdown.
