Army Recruiting Worcester: what do users think?
Tre Spence: SSGT Ortega was a huge part of the reason I joined, due to his treatment of me as an individual, but even on the days he wasn't available, the rest of the personnel in the Army office were also great people to work with and helped in any way I would need during my long journey to enlisting. Very happy with the branch I chose.
Aeries V.: If you go, ask for SSgt Ortega. You are not just a 9 digit ssn to him. He sees you as a person. He worked through everything with me switching from Marine Corps to Army to get my family taken care of.
Derrick Hammond: It was very great and I really enjoyed my time with my recruiter and everyone in the office. They gave me all the information I needed and made sure I was very well informed about the new life I want to live.THANKS TO EVERYONE IN THE OFFICETHANK YOU SARGENT YOUNG
Dartagnan George: I would definitely recommend this recruiters office if your trying to join, my recruiter SGT Cruz and the whole team are easy to work with and are very patient, had a great experience and thankful for them getting me to where I am now
Thiên Lê: Great place, great recruiters, all the paper work was done and get through quick. Sgt Cruz guides me through the paper work, Sgt Young drives very well
CASWAY29: SSG Ortega, thank you for your professionalism, encouragement and dedication. You reflect true leadership with your hard work.
Maxim Najarian: I have tried for a while to get into the military, my situation was pretty tricky. I’ve gone through many recruiters throughout the years, so when I say the Worcester Army Recruiting Center, specifically Staff Sergeant Ortega, and Staff Sergeant Burns, are the most hardworking and honest recruiters I’ve had the privilege of working with, I mean that. They were with me every step of the way, and I cannot thank them enough. I highly recommend them, as well as every other recruiter in this office.
Remy Johnson: Would completely recommend go through this office if you thinking about joining the army, SSG Abdul was really patient with me and helps with everything single steps that I needed to take to accomplish my goal.. keep on the good work guys!
Tavin Jevonne: This recruiting office is excellent at what they do . There work exceeds the standard and they will help you through any process.
Dylan Graceffa: Sgt. Cruz and the rest of the recruiters helped me get through the enlistment process fast and easy, and gave me lots of information to set me up for a great Army career. Definitely recommend stopping by the recruiting office and seeing what they have to offer you.
Yvonne Sterlin: So I walked into the Worcester Army recruiting office one day not knowing what to expect or even if I wanted to join or not. I had filled out a contact form online and the next day I was contacted by Sergeant Faras who was kind enough to schedule an appointment for me to come to the office. Sergeant Faras was great help from start to finish. He’s very knowledgeable, professional and easy to talked to. He answered any questions I had and what I liked the most was that he was available after work hours when I had last minute changes. I can’t leave the other sergeants in the office out because they’re all amazing. They won’t push you to do nothing you don’t want to do. The sergeants in the office also have a lot of experience and they go above and beyond. I just got finished with my MEPS training and I am so excited and proud of how far I’ve come and where I am going. Nevertheless to say I am proud to be apart of the ARMY Family. Thank you again sergeant Faras and the entire Team.
Ethan Quintanilla: SGT Cruz and the gang really helped me out in my situation. They helped me redeem myself and providing a future and another chance into the military. 100/10 would recommend to others to their office to enlist/re-enlist through them. They also make you you feel like one of them already.
Gideon Darko: Best recruiting staffs ever worked with especially Sergeant Ortega he and the team helped me a lot.
Megan Tobon: They helped my husband enlist 5 years ago. They helped us through every problem and speed bump along the way, and set him up for a successful career. They were very motivating and invested in helping him achieve the goals he needed to meet to enlist. Could not have had a better experience, they really helped us in a time of need. Everyone was great, and really put my husbands first opinion of the army at a high standard.
xEpillzx -YT: SSG Cruz is the man helped me thru out my whole process and they are all there to help stop by if you have any questions they got your back for sure Go Army
James Herman: I joined the army with SfC reberon, he helped me through the process and answered all my questions to the best of his ability, process was fairly quick and straight forward. Thank you very much
Nate Manu: Great group of people on that office, I consulted with Sargent Cruz and he helped me every single step of the way along with the other people in the office. If you have any questions just give them a call and they will most definitely help you and answer you thoroughly.
youstole leoguy: Sargent Cruz helped the process go very smoothly and was great as a trainer.
kkisiel: Fantastic group of recuiters here. Sargent Simien was very helpful finding me a place in the army and answering every question I had. Being from Chicopee, they were very accomodating in terms of travel. Besides that they found me an appropriate position in the army. I ship out Sep 15 and I cannot thank the army recruiters in Worcester enough.
Godfred Yeboah: I was welcomed and guided to enlist into the Army for less than a month ,all my questions answered into detail, all the recruiters are nice and friendly ,call or visit them if you want to join the army and you will be glad
santana wright: I had a great experience with the entire team of Army recruiters at the Worcester office. I felt like I had a friend, in my recruiter, guiding me through every step of the way. Thank you so much everyone.

Project New Hope Inc.: what do users think?
Francis Abram: Project New Hope's PTSD retreat was a excellent experience. The presentations were informative, accommodations and meals excellent!
Charles Lindsay: All veterans should attend the coffee talk session on Tuesday mornings. And please donate to this great veterans group
Robin Paquette: My experiences have been awesome! Best people to help you!
Denise DuBois: Great organization. Friendly staff
Renee Carlson: I just returned from my 3rd Caregiver Retreat with Project New Hope 😊. I've added pictures of the 1st and 2nd retreats, this year, however, I didn't have a decent camera, so I'll have to "borrow" some from the other Caregivers who were there. Bill, Donna, and Betty give so much of their time and money to support those of us who are Caregivers. We always have fantastic food and wonderfully inspiring workshops, not to mention Jen, who works with the horses and Shaun, who gives his time to take a bunch of ladies fishing!
Rick Cehon: Helping veterans in need is what it is about. Serve those that helped keep us free.
Sylvia Yowe: Project New Hope is an amazing organization. They provide much needed options for veteran and their families who struggle with the traumas and stresses of service. The retreats include education, healing modalities, training and workshops, comraderie, and fun and entertainment.Anyone looking for a worthwhile non-profit to support should definitely consider donatating to PNH in support of our veterans.
Rosebud Mosaics: Great staff. VERY helpful and professional even if TR is a dirt eater! Xoxoxoxox HQ CO rules. LOL
Nancy Dube: Tyler is very helpful to Veteran's.
Mady Gray: Bill and his team do an absolute amazing job at advocating for the Veterans of Worcester County. His locations offer tons of support for Veterans and their families, and the addition of the baby "pantries" help so many.

Veterans Inc.: what do users think?
Anthony Rounsaville: I can only really speak of the Worcester location. The staff really care and work hard to help the vets here. It is a far better environment than any other shelters out there. They focus on getting the vets into their own places as they have a "housing first" policy. They did have an issue when I first arrived with staff not really helping people get back out on their own. They did address this by cleaning house on the staff side and it made a world of difference. Since that time, I have seen 2 or 3 people get back into their own homes every week.I am only knocking off a star because the food is absolutely horrible.
Robert Panczyk: I lived at. Vinc for 8 mouths its a great place to get your life in order loved it thete
J J Conlon: Heart and soul goes into serving veterans and the community at large.
GoofyApeGaming: So much help for veterans
Piss “P” Sah: I worked at Veterans Inc - lots of shady stuff going. #1 Lack of legit homeless vets. Where’s the money going?
Jose Munns: Called asked for help but they don’t offer help in “our” zip code so they gave me a Illinois medical center phone number(not sure why).
RL W: I called to volunteer for thanksgiving, because as a veteran, this is the first year I've been, because alone my daughter and granddaughter had to move to Florida for work.Unfortunately the person that answered the phone was as cold as ice. I had to ask him 3 times is this a recording, because his tone was so bland and robotic. I wasn't being sarcastic, I honestly couldn't tell if it was a real person.I've done a bunch of 5k races for Veterans Inc., but if this is how they actually help veterans; I've done my last race with them.
T. Wright: Give them a call and ask how many veterans they’re housing right now. About a week ago it was ten & now it’s zero. One of them is a Vietnam vet in the early stages of Alzheimer’s. They kicked them out on the streets with no warning. I can’t believe places like this receive donations. They only care about profit.
James Hale: I dont know why Vincent Perrone and Denis Leary decided to shift focus from actually caring about veterans to program expansion and profits. As a disabled Veteran with a medically required Service-dog(Marley-Doo) I never imagined being discriminated agianst due to a disability. Imagine the horror and trauma of being neglected and rejected from your veteran family when your biological family moved away or died ? Alone during the holidays and struggling not to become another statistic to suicide, crime and homelessness....shame on them.
JR Jorgenson: This place does not help all veterans they promote favoritism and most of the staff don't care and have no military background whatsoever! My laptop, clothes, shoes and meds were stolen. I caught the individual and he punched me for confronting him and I was kicked out for trying to get my things back and defending myyself.
Shirley Mullen: Very friendly and supportive group. Felt that closeness that I felt when I was in the Navy. Have alot of information I wasn't aware of
Khuong Nguyen: Beautiful place that veterans can call home!
Rodney Moore: Jess will help you
Michael Pavao: They have been there to help both myself and my wife who are both veterans. It is great organiation and they hold the standdown in June which coordinates volunteers and companies who support veterans into one of the greatest days of the year. We are both eternally grateful for their support.
Larry: Beautiful building down at the ground level. If you go upstairs to the dorms however it is a dump. The bathrooms were filthy, and the rooms were just filled with as many beds as they could possibly stuff into them. It was in the winter when I found myself homeless, it was cold outdoors, but I left the place and opted to live out of my car.
Chuck Fegan: Looks may be decieving don't be fooled by the name or the business. In life it's not what you do it's who you are and how you treat others.
Robert Davis (Bob): A life saving stay, when times were tough.
Colleen Chickering: I've spent hundreds of hours doing volunteer work and 2 family members have relied on the"services"
Scott Liptak: After a tour of duty at Soldier On (Leeds) and Court St. (Boston) I can say, with conviction, that Veterans Inc. is the cream of the crop. Ownership and staff are highly approachable with any concerns whether it be housing, addiction or a busted toilet seat. Be mindful that the Grove St. property has 90+ gentlemen with 90 personalities and all sorts of individual problems. Veterans Inc. has multiple properties throughout New England and two others in Worcester and Shrewsbury. These are quite drama-less and can afford you a more private setting.Best,Scott Liptak
Paula Cipriano: After relocating from Massachusetts here to Connecticut, my fiance ,who's a disabled Marine Veteran, was in need of assistance with a security deposit in order to move into a place of his own. With time running out and a real threat of homelessness facing Tom, I was directed to Veteran's Inc for potential help. This in turn put Tom and I in touch with a man named Matthew Colson. After too much time having to depend on",The system", we assumed we were in for a long drawn out procedure with potentially no results. Needless to say we were amazed when not only did Matthew keep in constant contact with us,but with time to spare he was able to provide the assistance Tom needed and, better yet, has since checked in on the situation to ensure that we were doing well and to see if there was anything else he,or Veteran's Inc, could do.Never have either one of us had such a painless, drama free experience such as this. So, thank you Veteran's Inc for your much needed assistance in preventing another veteran from homelessness. And, mostly, thank you, Matthew Colson for coordinating things easily for us.We are forever indebted to both!Sincerely,Thomas J. Corning & Paula
Mr & Mrs Sharp: Great place and amazing building. They are doing the best they can to help veterans with anything they may need!

The Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center: what do users think?
Danielle: ONE STAR!!!!!First of all online it says it closes at 7 and it closes at 6I walked in at 5:53 and they said they were closed. This was my first time there and I was highly dissatisfied. I will definitely give my money to some other place that deserves it.
L. C.: This salvation army don't even deserve 1 star! elizabeth a cashier from there is very RUDE and racist! Be careful not to let a tag off from clothes you are going to purchase. Even if it falls right on the floor by the cashier in front of their eyes!I spent time browsing for a specific Black dress and because the tag came off that cashier elizabeth wouldn't sell it to me and she wanted to charge me $5 more than what the price was marked as. She put the dress back and refused sale. Don't ask for manager either, she won't help you'd only waste your time. They act like their clothes are brand new lol with their pricey items on unwashed stuff. Never going back there. Salvation army needs a new name or new employees at Cambridge St. Unwelcoming. Go to savers instead or even better buy brand new clothes for a better price for quantity and quality at rainbows and forever21 !
Katey Durbin: Eh, ok location. Donation area is alway a disaster it seems but recently (like this past year) its been getting better. Inside isn’t totally well organized but it’s fine for what it is.
Jacob Winograd: Lots of clothes but not many housewares and such
Abby Dancer: Good for odds and ends.
Chelsea McClure: Giving a higher rating than previously as the prices seem to be better lately. However, still can't give 5 stars because the "customer service" at the check out is definitely lacking. One woman in particular..
Jenal Nacole: The Salvation Army has some of the kindest and most helpful people working there. Whether or not I leave with the item I was looking for I am always satisfied at the end of my visit. I recommend to all people who are either wanting to donate or just looking to purchase used goods to try the Salvation Army.
Uoeno Idek: Good ppl
Kat Gordon: Cheap used furniture and home goods. Discounted used clothing. Not am upscale thrift store but a much needed and used resource for locals
Bledi Demirazi: Great selection
Will Conti: A place for everyone.. I do cokunteer work here at the food pantry and honestly it feels good to give back.
Freddie Narvaez: This place is among the pioneers in giving back to its community. HomePrepWorcester and Salvation Army will be doing big things in the near future.I loved the different styles as well as home goods. We loved our experience and had to share with the World. To help those in need.Keep the Donations coming..Thats how we HELP. By giving. Not asking what do you need? Give. Give. Give. Just give more than what you receive! From my family to your.Peace and Love
Sidney González: Tienen cosas muy buenas!
Michael Riel: It's organized
Sherry Devine: good for treasure hunters
Heidi Villaran: Not as nice as it used to be a few years ago. Less selection. It feels more spacious but not in a good way.
Wanda Torres: MY KIND OF STORE CHEAP PRICES !!!
Angela Gerard: Always find a good deal
Don “Mizterboston” Morgan: A decent enough choice of used product and the items are "clean" as far as dirt/mildew/smell. They are a donation central hub, so it seems to be well stocked. Special pricing for items that haven't sold in a week or two. I have scored some nice goodies there. There is some clutter though. Otherwise a good place for used merchandise.
Nara McCray: So many clothes
Lou (Anti_lou): Terrible business practices. Rude staff. Twice a day their laborers go out into the common area for a "coffee" break. The cloud of cigarette smoke fills the entire store. Collectibles are priced ridiculously high for a thrift shop. Only go here if you need to pick up a specific color item of clothing for cheap.
