A couple weeks later we adventured to this gem of a location, a bit off the beaten path (at least by car). We were enamored with the atmosphere, a mixture of an Italian bakery/Italian deli/Italian foods store. I have had the Italiano grinder, and it is wonderful! I couldn't pass on a package of Pizzelles, which were delightful. Please be sure to visit this location for lunch, you will not be disappointed!

It was for my friend’s special day.The icing smelled of egg ( horribly) , way tooo sweet. The cake was very very dry , to an extent that it crumbled while we cut it. I had asked the guys across the counter and he had boasted of the pineapple cakes being very moist!The pineapples were from a can, definitely not fresh. Will: What a cute shop with tasty treats. Popped in to check it out with my mom. The owner greeted us warmly while another was busy whipping up some fresh cakes. Smelled amazing in there. The shop is cute and has a floral back drop that is cute for selfies (took a couple with my mom lol). Lots of variety with an emphasis on Latinx flavors. The guava cheesecake was phenomenal and I will be trying the passion fruit version next. The tres leches was very good but the icing was a bit heavy for me. No complaints on the cheese flan 🤤. The portions are large and definitely worth the price, I could only eat about a third of each dessert at a time.

However, just spent over $120 for a multi colored cake. Rock hard jimmies on the outside. Dry cake on the inside. Most of the cake thrown away. Very disappointed. First time spending so much on a cake. I think we'll stick with the cheesecake and brownies. Never again will we spend that much for a cake and be that disappointed.............

We each got two deserts (I know a tad excessive but we didn’t eat them at once). We both too our first bites and instantly agreed it was amazing. Glad I found this place!! Very clean and a decent variety! Noodles galore as well, they have some selection of pots and pans and very small amount of altar equipment. Lots of your typical herbs as well. I also did not feel as if I was being stared at quite as much as I normally do being a white woman with a Vietnamese man.

They also did not communicate that if they don't receive payment right away they will cancel your order. They had sent me a link through paypal to my email which I did not see until this morning because I had been working all day. Since they only sent the invoice yesterday and the cake was due today, they canceled my order. They did not attempt to reach out via phone or text and just emailed me this morning to tell me my order was canceled.I understand they are short-staffed, but I also run a business, and communication with customers is key to satisfaction. I will not be using their services again. Very poorly run.

Brenda Sieng: The website states the open times for walk in and I drive 45 mins to their place and it was close on a Wednesday at 2pm when it states it’s open. I have messaged twice for a quote and was told they confirm orders on Monday and Tuesdays and I have heard nothing back. I wasted my time, and looking at the previous reviews, it isn’t great either.

Sarah Forte: I feel sad writing this but first of all I was waiting for 10 minutes at her store and then she finally showed up. I was so excited as I am gluten free and since it said gourmet bakery I literally went out of my way to buy stuff. I bought 3 different things. As the cupcakes looked good they were so dry and she said that one of them was freshly made, which is highly concerning. I bake a lot and I can tell you the stuff she gave me was probably 2 weeks old or not packaged right. I’ve never had worse baked goods and I’ve been eating gluten free from before there were any options and you only had coconut flour. So that’s saying alot.

##: First of all I like how this place is allergy free from 9 allergens, but I don’t see why there is such a high rating, for one the communication on her part SUCKED! I was the one that had to keep writing to her to make sure I got a cake for the date I wanted, also she tells me the week before I’m suppose to get the cake that she doesn’t do 3D cakes and only puts toys on the cake, if I would have known that I would have made the cake myself or I would have gone elsewhere. It came down to the whole cake look, which was so ugly, the theme of my sons party didn’t even match the cake… I get the concept of the cake design but it was horrible, now the taste of the cake was DISGUSTING!! I like oatmeal and it tasted a little like oatmeal but very grainy and it was very very thick! Yuck! To me it seemed like the cake was rushed and not much thought or care was put into it. Very disappointed! Never again!

Shahnaj Ullah: I'm unsure what everyone is raving about here. I picked up a mystery box today and was incredibly disappointed. The donuts and brownie had a 'sponge cake' texture. The pretzel was dense and crumbly. The cannoli shell was hard and its filling lacked any creaminess whatsoever (it seemed to be pure icing sugar). The blueberry bread was the only decent item I tried, though pretty mediocre when compared to a typical homemade banana bread. All the items had a 'cheap' taste.I know this is an allergen free bakery, but I really think these recipes need to be reformulated. I've had much better allergen-free baked goods before. If you're a vegan (but not celiac) then I highly recommend checking out Whole Foods bakery section.All the best to Jennifer Lee's Bakery, I really hope it can improve. I love supporting vegan businesses but this place totally missed the mark.

My husband and I lost our aunt this week and I've been diagnosed with a gluten allergy on top of that. I couldn't believe how amazing these treats are!!! So far we've had a bunny cookie and a donut. Robert Nguyen: I went on Friday September 23rd, 2022 just to get a quintessential banh mì thịt nguội Vietnamese sandwich and a OKF Sparkling yogurt drink for lunch. Miraculously, a tray of Bánh cuốn and Bánh bèo was looking at for $25; what a steal. Usually you have to call the supermarket one day ahead of time for them to specially prepare it for you. They sell like hotcakes during the weekend. I was going back to East Boston via the MBTA Purple Line and my Mother was rushing me home for that food tray because she was craving it the most easiest digestible food for a U.S. Senior Citizen to slurp down 😎

Between the smell throughout the store and outside, the bugs everywhere, and the general dirtiness, it's unappealing in many ways. I wanted to like it, but I don't see a good reason to come back given the proximity of the Asian Supermarket on Mill Street and Mekong on Main.

Ill91: Personally, I really liked BEST SUPERMARKET. The Fruit and Vegetable section had a delicious array of foods, and the BOSS REVO LUTION really helps you connect to your friends out of country. They also have lysol wipes and water. Wow. Amazing.
