Christina who works in accounts receivable is probably the rudest person I have ever dealt with. She is arrogant and teeters on the verge of harassment.After dealing with her, I spoke with Chris who was not much better. These people should live on a planet all by themselves.Their customer service just stinks. I will sway anyone I speak away from dealing with these people. They need an education on social skills and dealing with people.

Mike Rufletor: I used to order from these guys until Chris raised his voice at me. He’s not a very personable guy but acts like he is on the phone but when stuff doesn’t go his way he acts like a child. Simple I was telling Chris you ripping your drivers off and taking advantage of them paying them 5% when other companies pay 15-20%.
Anthony Fugazi: You’ll never get fresh product besides fantini subs and bulkys. Everything else is re-tagged and put in the freezer. They might be helpful on the phone to sell you something to mark it up 150%. Chris has been working communication for 25 years with a revolving door for drivers.
Lisa Fugatta: Customer service is terrible. Product gets delivered frozen. When you order pastries or a cake they are ordered the day before and sit around on the warehouse floor. They freeze basically everything brownie sheets, cookies, all different types of breads.

Diana: Grew up coming to this bakery. Wow, has it declined over the years… The past 4 times I have gone in for pączki, they have been extremely dry or they have give me the wrong kind of filling that I requested. Horrible. I have learned my lesson to let this place go the same way the new owners have.

J K: As a wife of a Polish American man, this place is a must for anyone who embraces Polish heritage. I really like Polish donut (called Pączki), even more than Dunkin donuts! When I come in Sat. morning, I pick up their bread rolls because they taste so delicious with butter / spreads.Their breads are nothing like a grocery shop's bakery department. Natural without preservatives. But you do need to finish the bread within a week or it gets stale or moldy. I definitely recommend this place. The owner and shop clerks can speak Polish but they also speak English as well.

Catherine Sakakeeny: I put an order in a week before I would pick it up. They informed me that this would incur a rush fee, but it took days for them to respond to me to tell me how much that would be and they never actually quoted me an entire price until the day before I was scheduled to pick it up (which was $80). They also did not communicate that if they don't receive payment right away they will cancel your order. They had sent me a link through paypal to my email which I did not see until this morning because I had been working all day. Since they only sent the invoice yesterday and the cake was due today, they canceled my order. They did not attempt to reach out via phone or text and just emailed me this morning to tell me my order was canceled.I understand they are short-staffed, but I also run a business, and communication with customers is key to satisfaction. I will not be using their services again. Very poorly run.
Brenda Sieng: The website states the open times for walk in and I drive 45 mins to their place and it was close on a Wednesday at 2pm when it states it’s open. I have messaged twice for a quote and was told they confirm orders on Monday and Tuesdays and I have heard nothing back. I wasted my time, and looking at the previous reviews, it isn’t great either.
Sabrina Moore: THE BEST! Everything Jen makes is the absolute best. So yeah it's allergen free but literally the flavors and textures are so spot on. Jen is the most hardworking woman I know and she puts out the tastiest treats. Go grab some for yourself asap!

Sarah Forte: I feel sad writing this but first of all I was waiting for 10 minutes at her store and then she finally showed up. I was so excited as I am gluten free and since it said gourmet bakery I literally went out of my way to buy stuff. I bought 3 different things. As the cupcakes looked good they were so dry and she said that one of them was freshly made, which is highly concerning. I bake a lot and I can tell you the stuff she gave me was probably 2 weeks old or not packaged right. I’ve never had worse baked goods and I’ve been eating gluten free from before there were any options and you only had coconut flour. So that’s saying alot.
##: First of all I like how this place is allergy free from 9 allergens, but I don’t see why there is such a high rating, for one the communication on her part SUCKED! I was the one that had to keep writing to her to make sure I got a cake for the date I wanted, also she tells me the week before I’m suppose to get the cake that she doesn’t do 3D cakes and only puts toys on the cake, if I would have known that I would have made the cake myself or I would have gone elsewhere. It came down to the whole cake look, which was so ugly, the theme of my sons party didn’t even match the cake… I get the concept of the cake design but it was horrible, now the taste of the cake was DISGUSTING!! I like oatmeal and it tasted a little like oatmeal but very grainy and it was very very thick! Yuck! To me it seemed like the cake was rushed and not much thought or care was put into it. Very disappointed! Never again!
Suzanne Wigen: I was freaking out trying to find some dairy sensitive desserts for a friends dinner party. I asked my husband if he could make something and I could see the fear in his eyes!! I was hoping I didnt have to travel far to find someplace and found Jennifer Lee's Gourmet Bakery on Cambridge Street! The gentlemen working there was super helpful and my friend Shelley LOVED everything- especially the truffle desserts. Woo hoo! Thanks Jennifer Lee.

Shahnaj Ullah: I'm unsure what everyone is raving about here. I picked up a mystery box today and was incredibly disappointed. The donuts and brownie had a 'sponge cake' texture. The pretzel was dense and crumbly. The cannoli shell was hard and its filling lacked any creaminess whatsoever (it seemed to be pure icing sugar). The blueberry bread was the only decent item I tried, though pretty mediocre when compared to a typical homemade banana bread. All the items had a 'cheap' taste.I know this is an allergen free bakery, but I really think these recipes need to be reformulated. I've had much better allergen-free baked goods before. If you're a vegan (but not celiac) then I highly recommend checking out Whole Foods bakery section.All the best to Jennifer Lee's Bakery, I really hope it can improve. I love supporting vegan businesses but this place totally missed the mark.
Ashley Turner: A very dear friend of mine had a mystery bag delivered to my door step during a pretty trying time. My husband and I lost our aunt this week and I've been diagnosed with a gluten allergy on top of that. I couldn't believe how amazing these treats are!!! So far we've had a bunny cookie and a donut. I'm saving the blondie for as long as I can :) Thank you to whomever made the trek to my neck of the woods in Halifax to drop this lovely surprise at my doorstep. We will for sure be visiting your bakery in person!!! 3

The Virtual Jonathan: Having only been here a couple of times, I was very graciously led through various items and recommendations from the woman working the counter. She even let me try some wonderful passionfruit pudding she was making.I initially stopped in to get cans of guarana (which i can't find in grocery stores) but the baked goods were so appetizing that I ended up getting some sweet and savory pieces.Wonderful food and exemplary customer service.

Justin Tognazzi: This bakery is the best, still consistent, the bread has the same crust & crumb softness flavor texture. This bakery has been the same since day one. The bakery has been handed down through generations and the process has never changed. This bakery sells Italian Portuguese and french bread. Others can mimic it. But there is only one. Mazzarelli's bakery is the one!!!!!

I got there and they were smaller than slider buns, nowhere close to hamburger rolls or bulkies. The woman who originally took my order argued with me about my order, even though I ordered on her recommendation after I asked for bulkies. We got things resolved, and I left with hamburger rolls. They were supposedly baked the day of but they were hard as a rock. They went into the trash and I sadly bought superior mass produced bulkies from BJ’s.
Bob M: Gave them a lot of business over fifteen years, and was rewarded by refusing to deliver to our third restaurant , the owner said that he can’t deliver less than five dozens of bread!!!!!!!!!, it is a new pizza restaurant, how come for one week old restaurant to sell five dozens of bread a day???, we used to order every day more than your minimum average to deliver.I think you got enough business to turn your back on your old customers.. good luck to you, because that is the beginning of the end.
jj sleighride: If you have a bakery in your town, you are quite lucky because it’s a luxury in the 21st Century. Bake Shops in local grocery stores have taken the place of bakeries and satisfied our appetite for fresh baked 🥖 bread. Loaves, rolls, French, or Vienna , there’s nothing like fresh baked bread and Maxzerelli’s Bakery still operates after 80 years . The selection is not as vast as it once was, but all the staples are still there, and it’s baked fresh daily and I don’t have to tell you it’s quite good. Easy access, pull up in the front or park along the side of building. Most people just leave their car running, it’s fast, quick, and easy to pick up bread at the counter and step right out!
