Bleacher Bar: what do users think?
Scott Estabrooks: The view is amazing, drinks good and cold, the food was top notch and fhe service was the best. I highly recommend this place before a game. But go early as it gets busy.
Lance Elicker: It's a cool bar to be at field level
Shane T: What a view! My wife and I even got to chat with the visiting Twins coaches while they were in the outfield during BP. I found out one of the coaches is a friend of a friend. Crazy!
Tom Lagacy: Great little bar. Historic, nostalgic and very small. Get there well before gametime if you wanna get in and get seat
Daryl Moore: Even the urinals have a view!
Chris Ferreira: Great time beautiful view
Tom Edwards: Great place at Fenway!
Michael Currie: What a great place to "pre-game"! It gets crowded, so I recommend going thru the hostess for a table. Guys, the men's room has a unique feature to keep your eye on the game... Just down lose your aim, lol.
Wendy Lacy: Great place for a beer after a Red Sox game!!! Especially after a WIN!
Jillian Kenney: SO. MUCH. FUN!
Helen S: The food was gross, very salty just not worth it.
Andrew Barrows: Staff is really great - best place to pregame for a day at Fenway
L. Cartwright: love this place, went for dinner and beers before game, have sliders and sandwiches. can always count on a good meal and great service here..
Derrick Cabral: Awesome view awesome beer
Erik McCarthy: Get here before a RedSox game to great a great view of the field. Good food, especially the chicken sandwich.
Jessica L. Grenon: Amazing views of Fenway right from the restaurant and bar! What I didn’t expect was the amazing customer service. The bouncers help my dad secure a seat as he couldn’t stand, the waiter, John, gave us service the one would expect at a steak house, not a bar.
Brian: Great place. Food was 8 out of 10
Paul Anderson: Great location. Good burger. Excellent service.
Mahammad Mutallimov: Best view! Cool bar, cool people. Went to the free comedy show and the lineup was awesome. Had some laughs and good wings. 👌
Taylor: Came here in a whim - pleasantly surprised by a hilarious comedy show. Great view of the field. Such a great show for being free :) 10/10 best date night ever
Stanford Cross: Staff is great, food too! and the atmosphere is fun. Ask for Gregg at the bar, then sit back and enjoy.

The Black Rose: what do users think?
Wanda Brown: We visited mid afternoon for a late lunch. The place was only 1/2 full but the noice level was very high to the point of not being able to chat with my dining partner. I had the Shepherds Pie and was not impressed. I’m used to a pie with a meat gravy - the tomato paste was more predominant than the gravy flavor. In addition, the potatoes were very dry and lumpy vs the creamy smooth topping that I like. The Irish coffee was good!
T.J. Haas: Came in for a few drinks prior to airport departure back to Florida and stayed until last possible minute. Great staff all around and shared stories with manager of the day Jamie. Great atmosphere, staff, and band that started at 5pm.Ready for a return trip already and will absolutely be returning to The Black Rose for all it has to offer. Thank you to all for the hospitality and great time! See you soon! TJ and Jen from Tampa Fl
Tristan Vessio: Food: 3/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 3/5Recommended dishes ChowderMore

Tanya Comeaux: Visiting Boston you have to go to an Irish Pub and order Fish and Chips. They had a live Irish band playing music and the atmosphere was A-1. As we sit enjoying the music a young lady comes to our table with the same monotone look (and later voice) that she had for the duration of our visit. I do not like monotone service. I will take at least 1 smile and 1 influx in your voice but none is absolutely a no for me. Only reason I gave her a 2 star is because she made me a good Arnold Palmer. We ordered Fish and Chips at an Irish Pub and just knew it would take us to Ireland. We got closer to Ireland at Captain Ds. We had crinkle fries that I buy from dollar tree for my grandkids and fried mushy haddock (could have been cod but would not have made it better) that just was not good.We are well traveled and huge foodies. I would give this place another chance as we all deserve 1 but it will be awhile. Boston was a great town too. I will visit again. BGTN (Black Girl Travel Notes)
Aaron Frank: Great bar, great food. What you expect from an Irish pub bar. The live music was 5 star. However, it was a tat loud and we could barely talk. We brought it to the attention of the staff but they friendly said we see what we can do and left it loudly. I bet other times it may be better but it took off a star as we left daily quickly after the good food.
Jimmy M.: Food: 5/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 5/5More
Nick: Went for a nightcap and had a great time. Live music was awesome. We came back the next night for dinner and drinks. Different band, but equally as great. Food was good, beer selection was good too.
Mark Mazzaferro: There is no better place to visit on my first night in Boston. Grabbed a Guinness and their Jameson Whiskey Wings while enjoying live Irish Pub Music.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Justin Martin: Fantastic traditional Irish pub. The Shepherd's Pie is delicious, and every dish that I've tried has felt like it includes really quality ingredients. The whiskey and scotch selection is not extensive, but includes things I really like, so it works for me. I love the old building too, I always appreciate the aesthetics and functionality balance of past generations.
Adrian Aicken: Asked the doorman what time the bar closed he said "none of your business"Service: 1/5|Atmosphere: 2/5 …More
Forrest Flump: Great pub. Didn't stay for food but it smelt fantastic. Beer was awesomeService: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
Pepa Peña tejero: Parking: No sé si había aparcamiento
Adriana: Great place to visit at Boston with local food and local live musicFood: 5/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
martin caldwell caldwell: Really very friendly girl from Finglass in Dublin..Good sense of humour
GARRY SCULLY: Overated.. very poor of a Wednesday night. Music was poor.Service: 3/5|Atmosphere: 3/5 …More

Narcisse Kunda: Went there for a happy hour with colleagues. Great atmosphere and I loved my quesadilla.
Tone Loc: Great place, I will continue going here!
Tori Hiney: A favorite after work spotUpdate... Still an absolute favorite after work or weekend spot. Shout out to Pam and TC.Incredible atmosphere. Dope tots too.Looking forward to the outdoor seating again ☺️
Kimberly Gamber: We apparently walked in the wrong door and were instantly 'permanently banned'. Being from out of town, we were super confused why someone came up aggressively screaming at us. It's not like we walked through the kitchen, apparently just used the side door instead of the front, even though it's not clearly marked. That was my 'welcome to Boston', as we had just arrived about 45 minutes prior. Thanks for making Boston the most unfriendly city. Tell your bouncer to calm down on the 'roids, because he was full of unnecessary rage towards us.
Jen Nascimento: Great Place to kick back relax & grab great food
Okella Wood: I love this bar!!! Big shout out to Pam, Matt, Kevin, Maddie, Nick, Connor, Biff, Billy, John, Vanessa and TC ! All great people and bartenders. Tacos, burgers, pizza and more....my happy place
Beth Robertson: Welcoming atmosphere, attentive staff and great pub eats. Add cold beer and keno. Life is good!
František Hrdina: Great place
Suzele Fortina: simple place but good service and waitress very friendly
Joseph Mendes: Heaven is a real place
Ruddy Francois: Secluded
Andrew Bisceglia: Awesome kind staff. With a unique egg roll menu.
Merk Aveli: Shark week must
J N: Quite a nice dive bar. Friendly bar staff
Coulibaly Mohamed Donitrigue: It's a pub
Dn Altb: Was visiting from out of town and was happy to try a place with good reviews.. But when I asked for chicken tenders they were frozen from the middle... Nothing fresh about the food here.
JaQ T: I met a couple of coworkers here at the corner pub. I believe the Bartender's name was Mike. Thanks Mike for making me feel welcomed. I arrived a little after midnight so I did not get a chance to eat and i was starving after work. This would have been great if there were peanuts etc out on the counter for people like myself.
Bruno Ngjeliu: By far the best pub around! Their egg rolls are to die for and the staff are some of the most welcoming people! One of the best gems in Boston!
Bridget Nee-walsh: Great service and great food!
Sam Bilodeau: Great atmosphere. I will return.
Karan Sethi: Cool Boston vibe and good service. Some game options to play around as well 👍

Cindy Lam: We came from a late show and wanted some food and wow did we land on a pleasant surprise! The bartender was extremely kind and even showed us their new cocktail lounge The Wig Shop. The chicken wings were incredible! A+++
K Q: I understand that fancy burgers are usually great at Medium/Medium Well, but if you’re going to serve them that way, it should be known. I assume that since you didn’t ask, my burger would’ve been fully cooked. I am pregnant and needed my burger fully cooked due to the raw meat (bacteria, etc, etc). I was fully prepared to answer how I wanted it cooked, but was never asked. It came out pink. Luckily my husband had a different meal with fully cooked meat and he offered to switch plates with me.
Annaliese Heindel: Love JMs go often, great cocktail, caramelized onions in the burger are iconic. Nashville hot fried chicken isnt too hot, franks red hot level, still a pleasant sandwich! I would just call it something else cause it’s on a italian sub bread
Aine Ni Thuathail: This was just ok, the food was not great, fries were cold and hard, burger was not great really. Atmosphere was nice for drinks but can’t recommend for foodVegetarian options: Very little choice
Steve G: Big fan of the whole place. Staff are great, looks classy, foods on point and law and order for the ladies.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Tater Tots, Chicken Wings, Nashville Hot Fried Chicken …More
David Hale Smith: Late night menu is a lifesaver. Solid cheeseburgers and fried pickles. Good beers on tap.
Tasos Panoutsopoulos: Food is quite bad. And coca cola is the most transparent water I've seen in my life.Nice service and atmosphere though.Food: 1/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
Gary Fewkes: The food was good. There is a decent variety and something for everyone. They server tater tots, so the person who orders them will hear Napolean Dynamite quotes the rest of the night. The music they had playing was good, 90's alternative mostly. I heard some Echo and the Bunnymen while there.Food: 4/5|Service: 3/5|Atmosphere: 4/5Recommended dishes Nashville Hot Chicken …More
Ravisara L: Affordable cocktail bar with bar food. Very cool concept. I would recommend the elderflower sour for the cocktail.

Darron W. Jones: Trendy af. Super loud and impossible to have a conversation though on Friday night. Saturday was better but it was later on.Best Rangoons I've ever had. Wings were amazing!
Martha Brody: Didn't have food, but loved everything else!Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Kelsey Perkins: My friend and I tried JM Curley after I waited too long and our usual Boston haunt was booked for a night when we were coming into town for a show. Now it's going to be a real hard choice the next time we're back in the area! JM Curley was a treat as soon as we walked in the door, all waitstaff was friendly and the vibe was on point. Modern speakeasy but not the same overdone trope that imitators try to copy. Our food was amazing, we had the Nashville hot chicken sandwich and the Bodega chopped cheese. We both got the shoe stringfries and my only regret is that one of us didn't get the sweet potato fries so we could have sampled. We also had the beignets for dessert which really sealed the deal. But I have to come back because there were plenty of things I wanted to try.Had three different cocktails and a sip of my friends and all were perfectly balanced. Finally the very important cherry on the top of the cake was the signage throughout speaking up against bad/rude customers. As a veteran in the service industry it goes a long way seeing something like that, and the signage in the women's bathroom spoke even louder. Thanks for a fantastic meal and experience JM Curley!

Zach: The place was pretty packed when we got there, but we got service pretty fast. The folks working here are nice and the beers pretty good too. I will say the building's kind of narrow so if you've got a big bag maybe leave it elsewhere before you go otherwise you're going to be banging it in to people.Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More

Annabanana: Cool beatnik like vibe at this little dark bar in Back Bay of Boston. They play vinyl behind the bar. Great beer and nice little menu to boot! Even serve vegan food! You can get your own mug to hang up top the bar with your favorite dead author inscribed:) cheers!
Jeffrey Ohl: Perfect place to pop in for a very reasonably priced drink.Fun vibe. Nice views. Cash is preferred
Dan M: Nice little dive outside the back bay. Really great attentive service. The food was better than expected. We got the tater tots (RIP Lower Depths) and chicken fingers, really tasty. Pretty solid beer list.Only negatives were one credit card per table and we had 5 people and the music was a bit loud. I used to go to the location in Inman (rip) but now it’s only this one. I will come by next time I’m in the area!Wheelchair accessibility: It’s street level and no stairs at all.
Diego Droguett: Super divey in the best ways possible. The food is solid and just what you want after a few beers, of which there was a great selection. Charles Sanft: Good beer selection, nice staff
James Graydon: A small and (almost literally) hole-in-the-wall bar. It nails the "simple and straightforward with minimum frills" ethos while still delivering a great beer selection and surprisingly good food (so many small bars drop the ball here). If you're looking for good drinks and simple food with a traditional bar feel, you're in luck.
lauraine nsenga: It was slow wen we get there so I can say much
Brad Prestbo: Cash and beer only.
Philip W. Prifold III: Bacon & blue burger was below average. Sad tasting side salad. Best part of my meal were the chicken bites.

Willem Ponikvar: I am a Canadian. They didn’t accept my id to get it. They said “passport or go away” how ridiculous. For that 1 star. I’d rate 0/5 if I could.
JoAnne Mayer: Reviews aren’t wrong.Stayed at nearby hotel & wanted to play Golden Tee & watch some sports.Bartender (owner?) great & watched him continuously spray clean tables & check bathrooms. Awesome service. Would be a go to neighborhood bar for us. Darts too.
Edward Harrington: Great locals dive bar. Cold beer and owner was great.
Justin Thomas: Best dive bar in the city
Colm Whelan: Live in Boston 20 years. How did I just find this place? Great great local bar
Hailey Stoltenberg: Great dive bar, but smells like a toilet in the back
Dan M: Used to come here after work when I worked in the area. Great dive bar for beers and casual conversation. They have darts and it can get cramped but it’s just what the doctor ordered after a long day at work!
Jorge Munoz: My wife and I visited this place a few times and the bar tenders and workers are great. You go into this place and forget you are in Boston because it's not overpriced or filled with fancy pants. Just a great Irish type bar with great people working there. I'm making it a point to visit every time I'm near.
Pearce Wurthner-Labrecque: Awesome dive bar if you're down to drink in a toilet.
evans festo: Cheap drinks and good vibes
Carson Gibbs: My buddy Epstein (not that one) says this is the best bar in all of Boston. After a visit I can say it is my favorite as well. Loved playing darts and playing music all night long. Great service and location.
Jason Livingston: Good drinks
Dennis: Had time before last train out of South Station for Providence and was excited to find such a fun, welcoming, and good time scene here. Happy New Year and thanks for the warm shelter from old man winter BE peeps -D
Mike O'Shea: This place is great... PBR DRAFTS for only 3 bucks.
Jeff Grote: Great dive bar!!
Collin Keddy: Place is a joke and would never recommend to anybody
David Leyva: Cool spot, very dive bar local type feel. Nice people, attentive service.
Iyshia Kirkland: Loved the atmosphere here. Drinks were made with love, and the place was packed!
Heather Haley: So much fun!! Just the type of place we wanted to find!! Spent New Years Eve here. Crowd was awesome, busting into the best singalong all night!! Bartenders did a great job.
jerzdoolz: $3 PBRs in Boston is unheard of but there it is. Just love the rustic feel of the small pub!

Howl at the Moon Boston: what do users think?
Bethany Mayott: Bouncers were extremely rude. There were many over served people that ruined the vibe. People throwing up in the middle of the club, falling down stairs. Unsafe environment. They let way too many people upstairs to the point you can’t even get a drink. When I finally did they were over priced and not worth it.
Felipe Bessa: Wauu que lugar incrível ambiente maravilhoso astral nota 10 galera animada banda muito top galera bonita animada drinks perfeitos amei super recomendo voltarei mais vezes com mais amigos
Martin Nunez: Great place and fantastic vibe
Elongen Jones: I ordered a redbull and vodka and could only taste redbull. Drinks were not great.
Curtis Gibbons: Amazing spot. Servers were great, security wet great, and the performers were great. Top notch
Tyler Zolciak: Great live band plays every weekend! Awesome vibes, typically a younger crowd, cheap drinks and always a great time 😌
jennifer zaniboni: We bought skip the line passes for both upstairs and downstairs venues for $40 pp for birthday party. We arrived about 9 pm and there was no line at either. Later there was a line outside for the lower level club. Very fun venue and MC was good at having the birthday girl get up on stage to dance and sing with the band with smoke effects!. Only complaint is that several times we venmoed money (as instructed) for song requests totaling $40 in requests and the songs were never played. MC said that the band only knows certain songs so they can’t do anything about not honoring paid song requests :(
Sanjay Patel: great vibe
Vineet Yalaka: Oh damn can't explain how much fun we had at this place. The Jell-O shots were crazy and the dance floor(which is opens around 11pm) opens up all new wonders. Best time to be at this place is after 10 in the night.
shriya hukkeri: Nice little place with great live music. You can suggest songs as well!
Pranay Devgan: Live music, good drinks, great vibe and people howling, lol (there was one guy) it was fun night.
Julie Nasser: We threw a private party at Howl and they were amazing!!! So accommodating, answered every question quickly, provided A+ service and the band was fabulous as always! I absolutely recommend going to Howl if you want a fun night with live music
Amanda Holmsten: The drinks were cheap and the bar service was good but there was a general manager going around and rudely throwing coats at people who left them on chairs. Maybe invest in a coat check or get rid of table service after 11 pm on a Friday night! Will not be going back
Savannah Harpster: Horrible experience here
Colleen Smith: Great music and there is plenty of room to dance!
Jolene Eastman: Went for my niece's Bachelorette party we had a great time.
Celestina Marie: Our waitress Haley rocks!!! I will go back each time and personally request her because she makes this place that much more enjoyable. Music is upbeat , drinks are good.
Crystal Curran: Kinda weird vibes
Talita da Costa Moreira Lima: Nice place, delicious margaritas, and awesome musicians! Had a great time with friends!
Gwenyth Duclos: EXTREMELY RUDE STAFF…bouncer refused to let me in with my friends because I gave him “attitude”…filing with the better business bureau. Should be shut down for their incompetence. Will NEVER be returning .
Caleb LeClair: This spot bumpin

Jill Farina: Since I was only able to write one review I am giving the Sunday brunch a FIVE star review but our Sunday evening experience is actually less than ONE star.We met family for a Sunday brunch and enjoyed the quiet setting and the wonderful wait staff. The banana pancakes were heavenly! We were staying at the hotel so we came to the bar for a Sunday night cocktail and the bartender was rude and disrespectful. We waited for 15 minutes and he walked by us 3 times without even glancing our way. He talked and laugh with a group of young people at one end and then went back to the scantily dressed ladies at the other end. We could tell he had no time for us and didn't care. When my husband asked if there was another bartender who could take our order he said "no" and walked away so we got up and left. He made an extremely rude comment to us as we left. Sad that someone that rude can work at such a lovely place.
Victor Estrada: We stayed at the hotel and all the nights this place was bustlingWe finally made our way to stop for a couple of drinks and both service and drinks were on par with the hype. Highly suggest you make a reservation or be patient and you will be able to secure a seat by the bar.
Martin Foley: Sea bass with clams was extremely good, a few more clams would have made it 100% ambiance excellent. The clam chowder I just did not like their take on it, I’m more a traditional clam chowder guy. I sat at the bar, the best part of my experience was the bartender Bonnie. Very beautiful and very sweet with a huge smile, she made my day. Thank you Bonnie!
Bob: Food was fair at best.Food: 2/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Alex Zucker: Place is pretty crowded on popular nights, best to reserve a table in advance. Or go after the dinner crowd leaves, 9-10. Hostesses are friendly and accommodating.Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
Liz McEachern Hall: Four stars for the attentive but not overzealous service and for handling my mother in law's off the menu order in a patient manner. Food was very good (the King crab on avocado toast was made even better but not being completely drowned in Hollandaise sauce). Docking a star because their phone communication is almost non existent. I called the Monday before a Sunday brunch reservation after looking at Open Table and not seeing any time slots available (RESY is much better!). No one answered so I left a message with my contact details and request. By Thursday no one had called me back so I tried again Friday and left another message. Finally someone called me and lo and behold they were easily able to accommodate our party of five despite OT's virtual insistence that nothing was available.
Brandon: The best clam chowder I've had. I was completely blown away. I could not stop eating. We also had lobster rolls and a veggie pizza. Last time we had lobster rolls in boston it was bad. It was at a different place. I'm totally sold on lobster rolls now and clam chowder. Very good on a cold day and it was very cold in Boston this trip. The vibe here felt like a place to get a drink instead of food. We didn't mind and the restaurant is old but it is wonderful to look at. Thank you for the great service.
Marie Brennan: Have not been there in yearsMissed very much the White table seatingAnd quiet ambience that captured Bostonespecially in this Beautiful bldg.Overall friendly ness was missing also.Vegetarian options: Portion very smallOther dish chickenJust OKDietary restrictions: Suggest more GF optionsOr willingness to adopt a dish for GF
Angelo Gianotto: Awesome place
Janice Coburn: We planned an amazing night for my sons engagement. The manager and staff was so rude to us! Like he didn’t want a nice family from Boston?! So insulted and would NEVER recommend this place to anyone. They ruined a wonderful night we had planned there. I will never forget this. Very upset
Christina Nowak: For $19, a Maker’s old fashioned should have a large rock, not be on the rocks. It should be bourbon forward, not all orange & sugar. It should absolutely *under no circumstances* have a straw. This used to be my favorite location for a classic old fashioned, but I will not be returning for one with a straw.
Rai H.: 😎how many times have you been to this place? 2👩🏻summary: (update) visited with my loved one to get drinks. / catch up with my friend over quick dinner and drink. Reminds me of university club of new york.🥘food: (update) truffle fries($17) - large portion and good taste / mussels - good.🍸drink: Prosecco, coffee and beer💬service: attentive and friendly💁🏻‍♀️would I revisit this place? Yes - to get drinks from the bar.
