Anthony Pollard: Store is awful. The manager is god awful. She is extremely rude to her employees in front of customers. One of the kids kept calling for her as she went outside for a cigarette. When they called her up to the register to help me fix a pricing issue. All I could smell was cigarette on her. I will definitely not be coming back here. I feel bad for the kids working here

They act as a consultant to help us find the best decission suits our running need in the store.They have those machine that helps to determined your foot type so it can give recomendation of best shoes type suits you the best.

Buy the shoes you researched and try the shoes for 30 days, their customer service regarding changing shoes within 30 days is a GEM and makes up for the wrong advice.Elaboration;Have been helped by two people from the staff. They are unable to give you good advice. They gave me an unexperienced runner, training for a marathon, a zero drop shoe! That is the last thing you would give to an unexperienced runner especially when they are training for a marathon. Moreover, the analysis of my feet was off. I've had insoles for flat feet as long as I can remember and the first neutral shoe they advised me gave me posterior tibial tendon dysfunction and Achilles issues. The second time I came in they stuck with the advice for the shoe I currently owned with no heel-to-toe drop and no correction, even after I told them the issues I got with these shoes. Fortunately, I didn't listen to them, got shoes with extra heel-toe drop and correction with extra! corrective insoles which resolved my injuries.

They made it easy for me to find a pair of great running shoes and everyday shoes that fit my specific needs and preferences. This is one of those places where you feel comfortable buying whatever they say you need because they obviously know what they're doing.

At one point she blatantly left to help another customer while I was in the middle of talking to her!The only reason I didn’t leave was because I was in dire need of shoes - but now that I’m four months into training, my feet have been uncomfortable more than in the past and I have developed a terrible blister on my toe, which is a clear indication of poor fitting shoes. I believe some employees can be helpful, but they should do a better job screening in their hiring process especially when tailoring to clients running major distances. It should not be “luck of the draw” in who is helping you that day.

There is not short term parking whatsoever. Validated parking is $5 up to an hour, $8 up to 2 hours.Be warned, the garage clearance is quite low.

The folks at the Boston store knew exactly what I wanted and knew they had one pair in stock. They took my order and shipped my gloves that day. Fabulous customer service...I am so appreciative.

Eric Li: Owner and workers are very helpful with picking out your shoe. They use a machine to measure where the pressures are on your feet and let you try on different shoes that would support your activity and comfort and go for a quick run outside in them. They don’t rush you at all and want to make sure you get shoe you enjoy at the very end.
Gideon Coltof: Great runners shoe store, probably one of the best in New England. Localy owned and the reps are all very knowledgeable. While not a discount store, the prices are certainly competitive and I always come here to buy my running shoes. Buy local!
Boston Irish2009: Ok I love shopping BRICK & MORTER & this store is the reason .......Nora welcomed us with a big smile and REMEMBERED us for 6 months ago! The whole staff is super friendly and any are great but Nora knows her product. My niece tried on different sneakers to prove she still loves HOKA's and Nora totally made all the choices and suggestions..... my husband did the same and we left with two pairs. CHEAPER then on line and amazing customer service.
Jamie Van: I had a very positive experience here, I was immediately greeted by Patrick and was asked if I needed any assistance. I mentioned I was hoping to find the right shoes for work. Right away, he analyzed how I walked and we used the Aetrex scan to determine the best shoes for me. Very knowledgeable and brought out different options and we found the perfect shoe for me. Overall experience was amazing, I never felt uncomfortable or not welcomed (since I mentioned it was for work and not running). Definitely recommend going if you’re trying to find the right shoe!

The shop is small, but had a good selection of shoes and running accessories.
Rachel Abbate: I am completely thrilled with my experience at Marathon Sports! I got fitted for a pair of running shoes about a month ago after putting off the shoe search for quite some time. Shopping for athletic shoes simply put, intimidates me, but Anna made my experience fantastic. She went through a few tests prior to bringing over multiple pairs of shoes for me to try on. She was patient and thorough, yet efficient at the same time. I've honestly been much more active due to being properly fitted, and I'm much happier as a result!
SLR: I bought a pair of running shoes from here today. Great shop. They were busy, but they had enough sales people (not like, one person trying to handle it all) so I felt like I got a lot of very focused attention without too much wait. I was looking for a totally different shoe to address my new pandemic foot problems and the salesperson gave my five or six good suggestions. I also appreciate that they allow exchanges or store credit within 30 days if the fit doesn’t work out. I’ve bought shoes that felt great in the store but ended up being a bad fit for workouts, and have been out of luck. I’ll definitely make this my running store here in Boston.

chris murray: Brought my snowblower to these guys because my regular guy had knee surgery and the experience was not good. They told me I needed a coil and the cost was gonna be about $185 and that they would call me if anything changed. I had just replaced the carburetor with a factory carb and unfortunately it ended up being the coil and spark plug wire assembly. When I went to pick the machine up the bill had jumped to $414 and they told me they had to clean carb and fuel system which I had just replaced the carb and cleaned the fuel system thoroughly. Seems like a money grab to me. Beware!! Harry never even dealt with you and never said do what ever it takes. Your a liar and are a bunch of crooks. I’ve read all of your reviews and it seems to be a pattern.
Melanie Charette: I've been using this shop since 2019 and they have always been amazing. Adam works at the register and has gone above and beyond when I've needed anything. Not only did he answer the phone before they opened, he helped me out with towing my scooter, and followed up with fantastic customer service. Private Stock Reptiles: Great place to get parts and service if they don't have what you need in stock they can get it in a day or two. They even have parts for mopeds didn't even know that untill I went in there to get some motorcycle parts.

For a battery and one headlight, the other headlight is still not working...500 to replace a tire....these guys are master criminals...I've never felt more robbed...also bike was purchased at 1300 over book value...congratulations for the highway robbery...Your greed has left you blind to your INCOMPETENCE.....

Lou Raffael: Consumer beware. I never write reviews but after my experience I had to at least get my story out. I called this company in late September to stay ahead of the busy season and get my snowblower serviced. Was told it would be $269 + parts for a tune up and they would pick it up and drop it off. When it was ready, I was told the bill was $384 as there was a $75 pickup/delivery charge that I was not told about in my initial phone call. When the truck showed up, there was a huge banner on the trailer (pic attached) for “free pickup/delivery (Before first snowfall and new customers only) I am qualified for both, that in addition to they never told me about this charge, I thought my phone call to them should be straight forward. Called and talked to the owner, Harry. Harry said all his employees tell each customer of the pickup fee and since I called two weeks before the promo I was not qualified. The conversation never got confrontational, but I could not believe how short sighted this decision was. After expressing my disbelief Harry offered to refund me half of the delivery which of course is a good gesture, but again to lose future business over the other half was ridiculous. Harry then doubled down on his statement and said, “Not to call you a liar” but that all employees tell the customers about the pickup fee.It’s one thing to stick up for your employee, but this was in fact calling me a liar. Either way, I would highly recommend to do business elsewhere and simply google “snow blower tune up in my area” to find someone for half the price and not be disrespectful to a new customer that just paid $400 to have their snow blower serviced.

Adam was incredibly helpful and they got it back in shape quickly - and they did not charge me an arm and a leg! I was delighted when they told me the price!!! Between the staff and mechanics, they prioritized figuring out the problem with my scooter before the charge to have it fixed. The generosity was shocking to say the least. Bob Gagnon: "Non-Existent service" Visited your store two Sundays ago. Sat in the goalie skate area with two Bauer skate models. Cost was $849 and $899, trying to decide between the two. Sat there for a solid twenty minutes and nobody stopped by. Ended up walking out. Your store is convenient but sadly just for things like white tape and laces. You know, things i can find on my own.

Jack Byrne: I came into the store at the Norwood Mass location having a mask that has taken years of hard shots. I have multiple dents and bought cages online, trying to replace it myself. After having multiple days without success I brought it to pure hockey and they offered zero help. I came in today thinking I was out of luck, and would have to buy a whole new mask. Ryan, one of the goalie associates with no hesitation, quickly helped me take off the old cage and securely attach a new one. Being able to take time out of his day, selflessly helping a customer (without charge) is everything a customer could ask for. Thank you again Ryan.

Tyler Previti: My glove had a hole in it on a Saturday morning, and I thought I was going to have to buy a hole new glove, but Ryan took a look at it and said he could fix it. In a couple hours I had my glove repaired like new. If your a goalie ask for Ryan he's wicked nice and knows his stuff.

Matthew Mattis: I remember when MonkeySports was the place to be, when they had the Goalie section in the next building, expertise on all equipment, fitting and performance.Sadly, it is not even close to it and I wouldn't even consider it a Superstore. Low stock, rarely any selection, especially the high end level, lack of knowledge and customer service.Play It Again Sports had more items that we were looking for than MonkeySports. We were looking into goalie equipment and all they had were beginner and some intermediate level products. No selection in sizes, they had small and no medium. They had Large and no small.Online is inconvenient as they connected. If you buy something online, you can't return it in the store. Pure Hockey is no different. It's sad to see such a large store that I admire years ago fall to a department store level.

Josh Cameron: Wide selection of products for hockey and lacrosse. Only gripe found was sharpening hockey skates. You get a free sharpening with purchase of skates but you’re better off going elsewhere to sharpen them. First sharpen had no edge at all and useless on the ice. Not a pro shop when it comes to that aspect. Hopefully they get someone who cares about their job.
