Luka Vujeva: Supreme high end stake house! Amazing service and wine choice.
Salma Shawa: I loved the food and service. The attention to detail is immaculate. There are so many little things that make this place unlike any other. The decor, cleanliness, and friendly staff make this place really put together.
Brian: Ordered takeout last weekend and got two steaks(plus sides) one was supposed to be medium rare, the other supposed to be rare. Both steaks ended up being EXTREMELY rare.. I'm not someone who likes to call up and complain so we thought we could just cook the other steak a little bit more and would be fine.... Was not able to salvage the steak and ended up not being able to eat it, and was thrown away..... For $180 dollars worth of takeout I expected much better.... Really disappointed and probably will not be back.
Bianca Young: We came for a birthday dinner and just had a poor experience. Our server was fine but I found the options were just okay compared to some other steakhouses. Tartare was oily, ceaser salad and watery and flavorless, Cornish hen was dry and covered in butter without much flavor. My partner loved his streak, which I guess is the star of the show. Struck out with drinks 3 times all drinks were just eh teetering on unpalatable, but we ordered off menu. The dessert was good. Personally had a much better experience at Mooo in seaport. Preferred the ambiance and felt the food was better.
Michael Zeman: Awesome steaks, sides, and service. The side of flavored butter on steaks is a nice touch. The beer choices were small. How about a simple beer that most have heard of.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Chocolate Cake …More

Omer Talu: Easily one of the best steakhouses in Boston. Beef Wellington recommended.
gabriella onessimo: Terrible service. Extremely rude and entitled. Never going back. This whole establishment is a stain on the Boston dining scene as far as I’m concerned.

Parker: Beyond amazing dinning experience here at Mooo... Our server Jenna rose was very efficient with service and our business partner & guest were exceptionally impressed. Carlos who was also looking after us was extremely good with attention to detail. We started off with the lobster bisque soup which is delicious.Midcourse we shared the Japanese wagyu beef dumplings and prime sirloin smoked tartare, both had perfect flavours.3 of the guest had the American wagyu cap steak which they said was the best cut of beef they have ever had to date.(highly recommend trying this steak if you come to Mooo..) I enjoyed the salmon dish which was served on a bed of celery root puree with fennel and was soo good! We also all enjoyed the "Moo flight" which was 4 shareable sides. (mashed potatoes, exotic mushrooms, creamed spinach and truffle fries)For desert even tho we were all too full we shared the creme brûlée & bananas foster, pure bliss. The specialty cocktail menu here is impressive and everyone spoke very highly of the cocktails they tried. The manager Maria came and introduced herself to the table and welcomed us all and said not to hesitate to ask for assistance with anything. Very pleasant woman! Thanks again Jenna Rose, Carlos, Maria & Mooo.. for hosting and making this such great and memorable dinning experience for us! looking forward to dinning here again!
Randy Lester: Hands down the best steakhouse in Boston!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Bananas Foster, Japanese Wagyu Beef Dumplings, Chocolate Cake, Japanese A5 Wagyu Sirloin …More
Megan McCoy: Unfortunately I didn’t even get the chance to eat the food, when my party and I walked in (with reservations for my birthday dinner) NOT A SINGLE employee greeted, acknowledged or even smiled at us. We waited for 7+ minutes in awkward silence as employees looked directly at us then looked away. Eventually the hostess made it up to the front and told us our table would be ready in about 15 minutes. Due to the horrible entitled energy in here, I left. You would think with such an expensive menu they would have just as amazing customer service. But I guess if they don’t deem you worthy of their time then you won’t be paid any attention to.Do better.
Sean M: Dry aged and Wagyu are awesome steaks.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Japanese Wagyu Beef Dumplings …More
Sheila Barbas: The actual space was pleasant. The food wasn't worth our 600 dollar bill.I ordered a carrot dish and I laughed at the absurd huge unpeeled carrot. We also ordered a dish with a vegetable and we got 1 piece. It was laughable. I don't eat steak but those who ate it said it was typical of any steak house. The drinks were overpriced but fine. It was a birthday dinner and they gave us chocolate covered marshmallows. LolNeedless to say...I won't be returning.
Neil: A great experience tonight. The minute you walk in you are treated like royalty. The service is excellent and our meal was delicious. A high end restaurant but worth every penny.

Strega Italiano Back Bay: what do users think?
Joseph Atie: Last night, we were a group of five at Strega Italiano for what we had hoped would be a memorable dining experience. Unfortunately, the evening turned out to be memorable for all the wrong reasons. We started our meal with the Milanese, which we were eager to try based on the recommendations we had received. Sadly, it was one of the worst Milanese dishes we have ever tasted. However, the true low point of the evening was when I decided to order the cod fish. Not only was the dish far from tasty, but it also resulted in a severe case of food poisoning. I spent a terrible night dealing with the consequences of consuming the poorly prepared dish, which was a considerable disappointment considering our expectations for the restaurant. As if the poor food quality wasn't enough, the total for our meal, including tips, came to $690. For this price, we certainly expected a higher standard of food and overall quality from Strega Italiano
john avignon: This restaurant is connected to our hotel. The food, vibe and service was exemplary!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Eran Rippel: Dish quality and size far from justifying the high prices.

Daniel Teller: This place was okay. It was extremely loud inside, and the food and drinks were just alright. I ordered the Rigatoni Bolognese and it was just okay. Nothing special about it. Everything was way over priced for the quality of food and the experience. I've had way better meals at less fancy places in Boston. I can't really recommend this place to anyone.
Alex T.: Food: 3/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 4/5More
Nora Anderson: Great modern atmosphere and cozy booths! The food was great, especially the dessert. It is expensive but worth it! I'd recommend going a little earlier if you have a large party. Flordeliza Howard: Be sure to get the lobster ravioli, the meatballs and the short rib gnocchi!
Logan Reign Altavilla: Go to Maggiano’s Little Italy. Do not support this restaurant; they discriminate against service dog handlers.Man at hostesses stand claimed to be the acting manager denied me access after looking me up and down. He claimed only seeing eye guide service dogs are allowed, which is discrimination and illegal. I tried explaining this to the staff memember and he was rude and stuck up.This occurance took place on my birthday after flying from Miami to Boston and visting multiple restaurants & attractions without issue. Fortunately we went around the corner and found. Maggiano’s Little Italy which was an absolute delight with awesome food. I felt like I was at Nonna’s house.@Strega— I would educate your staff on the ADA laws before you have an impending lawsuit, if you don’t have one already.
David Crafts: I don’t usually write reviews, and I’ve been to the seaport location and have had an excellent experience but this location really let me and my girlfriend down. Firstly, the atmosphere was nice but it didn’t feel like an occasion. We got water once seated, but no one came to take our drink order for 15+ minutes. Once we were greeted by our server he was polite and catered to our needs. While ordering drinks we ordered appetizers, the Arancini’s were spectacular but the cesar salad just tasted like a Cesar salad I could make at home. Upon ordering dinner, we got our food within 10 minutes, which is quick but too quick. Paying high prices for dinner, you would expect an entree to take decent amount of time. Our main courses, which honestly felt microwaved, they were warm but not hot and honestly could have make them at home. If I’m paying $30+ for an entree I expect more than I got. The drinks were good and strong, and the crème brulee was a great dessert. Overall we were disappointed, we came to celebrate a late Valentine’s Day and while we left full, we were not satisfied and will not be returning. We would rather go to Davio’s in the north end and spend a few more dollars to leave satisfied and felt like we had an occasion. We will not be returning to this location or the seaport location.

Ty H.: Steak: 8/10Fries: 8/10Chocolate cake: 8/10🔥🔥🔥🙏🏽
Steve Hernandez: I really enjoy dining at Grill 23 & Bar. I make a point of stopping by every April when I'm in town for the Boston Marathon
Levi Snyder: So fire on god no cap 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Okan Yazmacilar: Good service! My friend's steak was too salty but replaced immediately! like the drinks and atmosphere there.
Stephanie Fleurime: Kid-friendliness: Everything was good but I did not get my tots in we pay 18 for it let me know what I can get please
Gabriella: Ambiance was loud and crowded. Service was pretty timely. I would definitely recommend the Roasted Asparagus, Tagliatelle Cacio e Pepe, and French Onion Soup. I was disappointed by the steak in the Steak Frites, which was severely lacking seasoning and was surprised by the poor quality given that it is a steakhouse. However, the parmesan frites in the Steak Frites were delicious.
max radbill: As a former chef, it's one of my passions to try the best restaurants around. For all my years of living in Boston I never got around to trying the famous Grill 23. It truly was a let down. I have never rated any restaurants on Google but I had to say something. While we got seated quickly on a busy Saturday night, it took over 40 minutes for someone to pay attention to us ( not our waiter). Our waiter was too busy paying attention to the table of 10 next to us. We ordered drinks in the first 40 minutes. Finally, our waiter came to us after but was in such a hurry interrupted our order to run to the table behind us.When he did come back he swore at my brothers selection as if we weren't in a fine dining restaurant and we were his buddies. Then telling my brother he was essentially wrong for wanting to order what he did. He was completely inattentive the rest of the night. I had to stop him from running by me just to order another drink. He didn't want to stop but I essentially had to tell him out right that we are his table to.When the food finally arrived an hour later, 3 of 4 of our steaks were cooked improperly. My brother sent his back only to receive it overcooked. He didn't want to deal with it again. A steakhouse with the reputation this place has, I expect top notch service and THE best quality steaks and cooking ability. Neither were demonstrated. We ordered five sides and none of them were better than a 6 on a scale of 1-10, 10 being amazing. It took me a long time to decide to write this but I couldn't let it go.I am sure there are reasons for the overall lack of quality service, food, and skill in cooking/recipe design but when you have the reputation and charge the prices they do, I expect the absolute best.
Chris Sluyter: What’s life without a little risk? For me, it’s a vomitless night where I didn’t eat beef tartare at Grill 23 & Bar. There’s a certain level of said risk when you eat raw beef, so it’s 33% on me, but this trip to Grill 23 left me hugging the toilet in the middle of the night. I’m the only one in a large group that ate it so that was definitely the culprit. Eat the steak, stay away from the beef tartare.
Carlos Malet: Amazing meat and fish, thanks MichaelRecommended dishes Famous Coconut Cake, Filet Mignon 10 Oz …More
Howard Moore: Off the rails. The food and attention to detail were simply impressive . It is with pleasure that I endorse the service ‘ food prep’ at this upscale fine dining establishment .

Lana C: Buddy flew in from Cali and took a break from filming so I showed him this gem! He was not disappointed!! Our server was very friendly, attentive, informative. If you are looking for a great steakhouse, this is definitely the right place!
Derek Feifke: Outstanding service and food. Wine list extensive, was able to savor a terrific South African wine. Black forest chocolate cake dessert was dry and only disappointment. Very loud, but did not detract from enjoyable dinner.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More

We ate the bacon wrapped scallops before I could snap a picture. They were devine ! We had sparkling water and 2 cocktails with our meal. That's why it was an average 100 each.

Ronnie Kassiff: This is such a great spot to go for a date, a company dinner, or just a fun night out with friends. The food is incredible, the specials are fresh (I really enjoyed the Nantucket scallops) and the service is great. Definitely one of my go-to spots for Seafood.
Constantin Hoffmann: I am really disappointed with this restaurant and it’s reservation policy. We ordered a table for three at 8:00 pm. As we turned up we‘ve been told that our table is not available and we should wait at the bar. The restaurant was packed and there was no space at the bar or anywhere else. We left 15min later after and went for dinner somewhere else. If you want to frustrate customers: that’s the way to do it. Never ever again.
Hector Huitron: Absolutely must visit spot in Boston! The service at the bar was above and beyond thanks to “Radish”. I visit this place every time I’m in town. The chowder and lobster roll are can’t miss items. The Australian Wagyu was cooked perfectly and well worth the trip.

Kevin Contorno: Unfortunately, the veal and lobster were both chewy, and the pasta sauce was lifeless, seemingly just reduced canned tomatoes. The prices just don’t match the food quality, and this is probably the worst restaurant I’ve ever been to relative to the price. Style does not cover up for bad food. The server was also very much interested in upselling my order any way they could while being devoid of any charm.

Arlenys Zoquier: I had nothing but an amazing experience here! I am not the best when it comes to planning birthday dinners because it can be a full time task that exudes anxiety & stress (am I right?) but, thankfully Nicole was point of contact for my private dinning inquiry and let me just say, the professionalism, patience, attention to detail, clarification on any concerns, helpfulness, awareness, and management is absolutely IMPECCABLE! I couldn’t have pulled this off if it wasn’t for Nicole and her team. Our waiter Juan was amazing. Very sweet, calm, collect and was always alert coming by often for anything we may need. Large groups of people can get hectic, and overwhelming but he kept his composure, and was extremely respectful and professional. I am beyond words with their service. I would recommend them 1000% to everyone, and now that I know how easy this process was, I will use them in the future as well. The food without question was phenomenal, that goes for the drinks as well. The atmosphere was beyond beautiful and I am happy I chose to go to the Palm for my event. Thank you so much! I am extremely grateful for your help💗

Abdullah Alshawk: We have been waiting to try the Palm for a while and unfortunately we chose Valentines Day. Service was excellent, the waiter was exceptionally nice. The food was not up to the standards we thought the Palm would be. The sautéed Shrimps were very oily, the octopus tasted like rubber, very old and soaky. I had to send the steak back since it was not cooked medium well and instead it was rare. As I said earlier the service was great both from the waiter and the managements however food taste/quality was not good for a 4 dollar star restaurant. Chocolate cake was amazing.
Christian Samayoa: Juan was our server and he was excellent. Was very attentive and knew every detail of the menu giving excellent recommendations. Our steaks came out perfectly cooked and amazingly tender and tasty. The sides were tasty as well, we got the gnocchi, au grautin potatoes, and wild mushrooms, all absolutely delicious.

I had the Veal Martini and it was delicious! My only complaint is there was so much piled on top of the veal it took away from some of the flavor. The drinks were good too. Expect to spend about $100 minimum for two people.

Olivia Marciano: We ate here on a sunday and the service was terrible. We had a reservation, and when we showed up none of the 3 hostesses greeted us; I waited a moment thinking they were busy but it became apparent that simply none of them wanted to greet us and were avoiding eye contact while shuffling menus around hoping one of the others would step up.When we were sat, no server came to greet us for 15 minutes. It then took another 10-15 to give us waters. I will add that only half the tables were full in the upstairs room we were sat in, so this wasn't a case of them being slammed.A server dropped food on the stairs, and they were trying to mop the carpet. The busser who dropped our food off realized two of us were sharing a meal (noted twice to the server) and said he'd come back with another plate...he did not. The food was alright, but the service was wildly bad and the whole place seemed dingy and in dire need of a renovation.Vegetarian options: Only a couple things on the menu if you're not a meat-eater. The mushroom burger was alright, 7/10, but very small portion and came with like 8 fries.

burton boone III: These bartenders act all tough. Server ordered 8 beers on one ticket and bartender made a table wait 30 minutes for drinks. Watched the whole thing unfold. It was a huge deal we watched unfold and managers got involved

Jade Doe: Brought my family out to eat here and was extremely dissatisfied. The service was terrible, the quality of food didn’t compare to what we expected. Server brought out each of our meals separately, my husband and my grandfather waited over an hour for their entrees. Calamari was over cooked. My husband ordered the filet mignon, they didn’t even bring out the right steak. They claimed that they didn’t have any mashed potato’s left and instead of asking for an alternative side preference, they brought out a plate with nothing on it but carrots and a piece of sirloin steak. This whole night has been a disappointment as well as an embarrassment.
