Michael Bourque: Avoid this bank. I had a recent fraud committed against me, not Santander Bank. They have blocked my account. It is going on four weeks now. This bank is totally inept. Can you imagine having your account frozen through the holiday season? This is an egregious breach of bank/customer trust. Run, run, run. Avoid them !

Donovan Fung: Let me start with the good, then I'll give input on the areas Santander really needs to work on ASAP. I financed my car through Santander and hardly knew who this bank was before I chose them. They gave me the best interest rate. I also love the fact that when ever I call I'm never on hold for more than a minute. But this is where things go bad. In 2021 there is no reason a financial institution of this magnitude does not have an app. Just a simple app would help them run things so much smoother. Also anything I need to do over the phone, they can't do over the phone. I needed to make a payment after I was locked out because for starters when I was in the website would accept my card that I already previously used. Then I forgot my online password and this happened after hours. And when I decided to call, the website basically briefed me that everything I would need help with the agent wouldn't be able to help me. Also Auto pay is a complete hassle to set up. And if your auto pay doesn't go through they won't allow me to set up auto pay for another 6 months. This really has started to bring so much frustration and I'm starting to wish I stayed with my auto loan bank I used previously. Because it feels like Santander is set up to make default on your loan.
Zane Sheibley: I paid off my car through these guys. For like twice what it's worth but that's neither here nor there. What bothers me is that they refuse to report it to any of the 3 the credit bureaus. After everything I've paid they just said they WILL NOT report it because of their own reporting errors. Doesn't make sense. I dodnt do anything wrong. They did. And I have to pay for it

Benika Sims: My review is for corporate and not for the actual branch. I have a car with santander as the loan officer. This is my second time having a car note in my life but this is my first 2 months with this particular company. the CSR are extremely rude. I have never had a hard time with my payments ever. yet my first month I had to pay 3 payments and now my second month 2 payments. SMH their reasoning is "you can't pay in advance".

Jing M: Have been waiting for a customer rep. They’re all in a group gossiping about clients and not doing any work…. Closing our accounts today.Also, they open accounts without your permission. Few months ago, my dad went there to open a checking account. I registered him online and saw he had two accounts open. He absolutely didn’t know about the other. This also happened to another client when we were closing our accounts.They also questioned the elderly lady why she’s closing her account. Her answer was “I didn’t open it”. The rep was giving her hard time. I had to tell them that’s what the elderly lady wanted and do what she says or I’ll report it to the CFPB.Seems like they’re preying on elderly people who don’t speak English to make their quote on account opening.
Isadora Cruz: On January 14, 2021 I went to Santander Bank to withdraw money from my account. The Bank is located at 61 Harrison Avenue Boston MA at 11:38 am. I work at the hospital and this branch is very close to me. Xie Zheng Lei was the branch teller who gave me the money. When I told her the amount, she asked for my ID (Which I understood because of the amount) she took it and passed it to the teller next to her and started talking in their native language. I found that extremely rude because I could not understand and I thought they were talking about me. Xie counted the money by hand and also used the money counting machine. I asked for a receipt, an envelope and left the bank. Immediately, I went to Citizens bank at 580 Washington st. Boston to deposit the money into my other account at 11:45 am. The branch teller used the money counting machine and told me that a $100 bill was counterfeit bill. I was shocked and very very angry. I asked to talk to the manager at this branch immediately. I spoke with Herb Wong and he explained that they could not give me the counterfeit bill because they needed to make a report. I did not want to waste any time and return to Santander bank. Herb Wong told me to take the report, the copies of the counterfeit bill and go back to Santander to speak with branch manager Betty Chan.I went back to Santander bank and ask to talk to Betty Chan. The branch manager was on vacation. I asked to speak to an assistant manager or a supervisor and for my surprise they did not have anyone there. I was furious. Nobody wanted to talk to me or help me to resolve this problem. Eric Hall one of the personal banker was the only one who tried to help me by calling and sending emails to other banks. Eric was the only one who went above and beyond to calm me and make me feel comfortable.Eric Hall sent me an email saying, “We checked into the counterfeit currency report from Citizen’s bank that you presented. Due to the fact that the money had already left the branch and traveled to another bank, neither bank can offer a refund for the $100 due to the concept of time outside the bank.” I went the next day to Eric and asked to withdraw the rest of my money and to close the account. Then, I asked Eric if the money counting machines that they have there are supposed to find counterfeit bills and he said that Santander bank at this specific location does not have them. I was very angry at the fact that I could no longer trust my bank. I do not know if the Xie (bank teller) robbed me and put the counterfeit bill there.Every day I work very hard and now, I am out $100 and Santander bank have it. Due to this experience I can say that Santander Bank is the worse bank I have ever used. I will tell my experience to everyone I know.

Battaliondan: Very disappointing. Consistently received incorrect information from the banker with whom I was working. Promises regarding money-hold and wire transfers was inaccurate. Specifically inquired about potential offers for the two new accounts for an individual relocating to the area. I was told there was not, only to receive in the mail an offer for $400. The banker volunteered (I did not ask) that he would contact me in two weeks. He did not follow through, nor respond to my message five weeks later. New checks were promised within ten business days; still have not received five weeks later. Rather than waiting any long, I closed both accounts.
