This place has lessons as well which I find very helpful. Overall, an excellent place for any instrumental or musical needs.

They do private lessons, got sheet music, can try the intrument out (as long as you bring your own mouthpiece) and got nice brands that I always use. The owner is very nice and kind. I feel that it is a bit more expensive here (at least saxophone reeds), but considering you'll most likely get what you want here, it's not bad at all. Strongly recommended!

Extremely great service, the staff is very informative and knowledgeable on the product as well as the overall world of music, and you’re probably going to get a good laugh because the owner Jack has a great sense of humor which is a bonus. Small business like this are the back bone of America. I suggest everyone in the area go to this place for any type of work you can think of on your guitar and other instruments. The work this guy does is exceptional.
Chris: I purchased a guitar online and brought it to Jack to have it setup. He nailed it. The action is great and he did a couple extra things like oiling the fretboard. Will definitely be back for more services in the future.

John Shankhour: I brought 3 guitars here for repair. One with a pretty minor problem and 2 that needed to be completely rewired and required intense repairs. A few shops I had brought them too told me it wasn't worth it to fix them or quoted me outrageous prices. I brought them into Jack who gave me incredibly reasonable quotes for all the repairs. I dropped them off one at a time and each guitar was repaired beyond my expectation (he cleaned and did more work than I had expected and didn't even charge me extra) and they play amazing. He even gave me a killer deal on a case when I picked up the last one. Seriously an amazing local business that goes above and beyond. I've taken guitars to guitar center for set ups before but Jack's work is way superior and I'll never bring my guitars to another place. Highly recommend!

Too bad that if he thought I wasn't any good, he may have been able to sell me lessons.I guess he didn't want to sell me a guitar.There are really no high quality instruments there.I saw a Stadium mandolin that was priced twice as much as I've seen in other stores. Same thing with a few other instruments.

kylie patterson: I came into the shop with a simple repair, a corroded bass jack needed to be replaced. The owner on multiple occasions ignored me as i explained the issues in favor of trying to sell me more unnecessary over priced garbage. My purchases were also very simple: Bass strings, a jack, and plate for my bass guitar. I brought my bass into the shop, the guy couldnt take off the screws for the jack saying they were "too stripped" when i took them off with ease at home. He had me buy a $5 jack and a $10 plate to go with (which is in total $1.55 on Amazon) and i bought a set of ernie ball normal slinky's for $30 (normalyl $16 on amazon) i get home and two of the screws are entirely missing and the other two were too damm big for my bass. The jack was too big to fit in the old plate, the new plate and also straight up didnt function. The only redeeming factor for this shop is the fact that the plate they gave me is solid and surprisingly fit my bass otherwise, id say the owners dont know what theyre talking about, carrying and dont know how to correctly diagnose an issue with even the most simple of problems

Brendan Attridge: You've got to check out Shred City. If you like shredding and talking music, you will be like a kid in a candy store-- all the Amps are powered on, warmed up, ready to crank any guitar in the shop you're interested in checking out. This is no Guitar Center where well intentioned staff make you feel like you're not welcome to try unless you're willing to buy- Tommy is laid back and always has good music playing through the speakers. Also, his 20% discount for high-school students is awesome. If i had found shred city as a kid, I would have started playing hardcore/metal long ago. Shred City is for the people!

Joe Delin: You know you're entering a really cool place when you walk through a Van Halen door, see a big picture of Cliff Burton and metal music is playing. The stuff out for sale (various t-shirts, records, comics, Funko Pops, Star Wars figures) looks like it came from a fan boy's house, which is exactly the case. Tommy is the nicest guy who will become your friend immediately, will talk about music with you for as long as you're there. There are a lot of instruments for sale as well, and picking up any instrument to play is not only allowed, but is recommended. 20% discount for teens wanting to rock! They also have open jam nights and local bands playing on the weekends. Such a super cool vibe and so glad that a place like this exists - not a chain without a soul, but a place for real music fans run by a real music fan. I could have just hung out there listening and talking about music for hours. Will definitely be back and will have to check out some shows there!
shaun nolan: Not your average music shop. This is my number 1 place for authentic band merch, guitars, amps and other gear. They offer a discount for teenagers. Live bands on the weekends.

Gil Belisle: I had to drive an hour and a half to get to the shop and on the way I noticed that Tom had sent me a text that he wouldn’t be there for hours later. I had missed the text but when I had replied to it, he came down and made other arrangements to do so. When I walked in the place blew me away; like a little stage with all these awesome instruments that had signs behind them “don’t just look, pick it up and play it” whereas the big box stores aren’t as kind. Tom ( Tone as he is known by ) was very down to earth, no BS, helpful, and willing to chat with me. It’s a long drive to get there but I’ll be back for sure. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Bent Strings Rusty Car (guitarbird): Stopped in looking for some CD's for the car ride I had home. CD selection was small but full of classics. The owner is super friendly and knowledgeable about the history of local rock music. A lot of cool metal guitars for sale on the wall!

This is what shops used to be like totally independent and devoid of the big guy and if you weren’t around then- here’s your chance to live out your greatest thrash, hardcore, metal fantasy! John Blais: This is barely a music shop. Closed of section of a furniture store. Noone acknowledged me. The place is confusing to get into and has cheap equipment. Dont even bother
Mark Marchand: Prompt service, great inventory, not just used guitars like many other shops . Trumpets saxophones violins congas bongos many other percussion instruments. Owner has 50 plus years of knowledge on all instruments, fix my grandfather's 90-year-old violin and did a great job.
Joe Schmoe: This is not a music store. It literally is a small corner of a furniture store looks like some one just stores all theyre junk there. Instruments are cheap, broken, and way over priced and very small selection. The owner or service representative was extremely rude and kicked me out because I hadn't bought anything yet. Over all it's a glum second hand junk store I wouldn't waste me time again I'm glad I didn't make any purchases. Owner needs to work on customer service terrible experience
