Jessi Lopez: I was excited to try The Sweet Life, I love chocolate! It was exciting to try the different flavors, the chocolates were good.
Maddie Hopurr: So many unique, delicious, and colorful treats in such a little spot. Pick your own little box of 8 from a beautiful rotating selection (my favorite is the Apple Pie (the pyramid-shaped one) and the S'mores (not pictured because I ate it before I got home). If you have a serious sweet tooth, try the ice cream burrito...(it's a cotton candy 'burrito' filled with ice cream and the toppings of your choice).There's always something new & different when I stop in. Both of the ladies who've helped me were extremely kind, offered suggestions, and took great care with my treats. I'll always be a return customer.

Josh Wright: Two days before bunny day and the place is as packed right after opening. A broad selection of site made fresh chocolates and confections. You can watch them make the chocolates every day although viewing is tough around holidays like Easter and Christmas. Plenty of parking east access on and off route 20.

Aaron Jacobs: What a fun trip. Heberts is about an hour drive for us. We are huge fans of Hilliards chocolates in Easton going several times per year. Now we will also be making recurring trips to Heberts. The mansion itself is beautiful and inviting. Pleanty of parking and worth looking at from the outside for a few minutes before going in. Very photo worthy spot. Inside is well spaced with the individual candy displays set up beautifilully. Decorated seasonally and themed beautifully the candy mansion is a good visit even for a diabetic like myself. Their chocolate is exceptional and their house made candy is beyond compair. You will not regret eating them. Especially the raspberry chocolate jellies. While you could certainly spend a good deal of money there it is very reasonably priced and their home made chocolate bars are larger and less costly than the supermarket brands. Highly recommend a visit.

Paul Butts: A neat little candy store, with plenty to offer. The ice cream bar wasn't open when I went but I'm sure it is lovely. If you're looking for a nice treat, try the dark chocolate malt balls - they are leagues ahead of the rest (including Whoppers).

Andrew Syiek: A sweet, longstanding New England brand (though no longer the original family business) housed within a stately stone and stucco Craftsman era magical, majestic manor.IF you're in a nostalgic mood and the idea of visiting a beautifully vintage, formerly iconic chocolate factory with a handsome stone façade is appealing, then you'll likely enjoy stopping in for a visit.It's nice to have a look around, admire the beautiful woodwork and to inhale the sweet aroma, but the selection and quality of the product, just isn't what it used to be.Something drastic seems to have changed the signature white chocolate recently. The legendary silky, seductively smooth texture and rich, creamy flavor has taken on sour notes. This is a huge disappointment considering the product's prior reputation for authentic, high quality consistency.

Pooja PK: The worst cake I have put in my mouth!I went there after all the raving reviews I read online, specifically for the pineapple cake . It was for my friend’s special day.The icing smelled of egg ( horribly) , way tooo sweet. The cake was very very dry , to an extent that it crumbled while we cut it. I had asked the guys across the counter and he had boasted of the pineapple cakes being very moist!The pineapples were from a can, definitely not fresh. My friend couldn’t even guess the flavor( pineapples being her fav) . Very disappointed!The only reason for 2 stars was the cake appearance and service .Will never be going there again!

They’re very heavy so you’ll feel really full afterwards. Absolutely delicious and worth the price.Suggestion: please make a deal for larger purchases. For example 6 cheesecakes for $40 or whatever to incentive buying more but also giving a discount.

Will: What a cute shop with tasty treats. Popped in to check it out with my mom. The owner greeted us warmly while another was busy whipping up some fresh cakes. Smelled amazing in there. The shop is cute and has a floral back drop that is cute for selfies (took a couple with my mom lol). Lots of variety with an emphasis on Latinx flavors. The guava cheesecake was phenomenal and I will be trying the passion fruit version next. The tres leches was very good but the icing was a bit heavy for me. No complaints on the cheese flan 🤤. The portions are large and definitely worth the price, I could only eat about a third of each dessert at a time.
Mike Kujawski: Purchased a cake for the first time. Right up front, big fan of the store. Never had any problems with the delicious cheesecakes and brownies!! However, just spent over $120 for a multi colored cake. Rock hard jimmies on the outside. Dry cake on the inside. Most of the cake thrown away. Very disappointed. First time spending so much on a cake. I think we'll stick with the cheesecake and brownies. Never again will we spend that much for a cake and be that disappointed.............

Laura Cruz: My boyfriend and I were craving a sweet treat and decided to look on DoorDash. We noticed Lucy’s cake and decided to give it a try. We each got two deserts (I know a tad excessive but we didn’t eat them at once). We both too our first bites and instantly agreed it was amazing. He had the Oreo cup and the pineapple cake and I had the tres leches and dulce de leche cake. I was extremely happy with all the deserts and I’m very excited to visit the store in person to see all the selections! Not to mention I now have found a bakery to make future birthday cakes and holiday treats!! 10/10 couldn’t say anything enough great things!!

Wade: I’ve lived in Michigan, so I like to think I know a thing or two about fudge (northern Michigan is famous for its fudge shops.) This place passes the test with flying colors. The fudge is smooth, rich, and fresh, melt-in-your-mouth goodness that’s going to leave you wanting more. I haven’t had a chance to try many of their chocolates yet, but if their quality is as good as the fudge, you’re in for a treat!!

The people that I have given the chocolate to have been impressed and happy. People at the shop are helpful in arranging the chocolates and tolerate the indecisiveness of shoppers overwhelmed by the choices. They had bunnies for Easter that were well received also.
