Megan D: I wish I'd read the yelp reviews on this location before making a reservation. I had an awful experience attempting to rent a car from here. I flew into town to be with my father, who had fallen ill, as he took his last breaths in a nearby hospital. The next day I needed to rent a car in order to run errands for his funeral and I chose Hertz because of their affiliation with AAA (I've been a member for over a decade). When I arrived, the 2 staff members (one named Melanie, and another arrogant white guy with glasses) insisted that my credit card, which was a real credit card (with $12k in available credit), was a prepaid credit card and refused to run it. I explained multiple time that it was NOT a prepaid or debit card and they continued to gaslight me and insist that it was, and therefore they could not accept it. The only other card I had with me was debit card so I ended up having to leave to rent from another company. When I explained the situation to the other company, which has the same policies as Hertz, they were shocked to hear that the Hertz staff refused to even try to run my card, and were able to identify that my credit card was indeed a credit card and not a prepaid/debit card. The other company even offered me a 10% bereavement discount as a courtesy for what Hertz had put me through. When I called the Hertz mainline later, they said the card should have been fine, and the employees would have known that if they tried to run the card. These two employees were flat out wrong and were just being jerks for no reason, and to a person who they knew was dealing with grief over the loss of a parent. Absolute monsters. I filed a complaint with Hertz corporate and was sent an apology for these two employees' behavior. Despite that, however, I will not be doing business with Hertz in the future.
Danyllo Brito (Goiano): Worst place to go, really bad customer service. I don't recommend wasting your time, go in any enterprise, more expensive but no disappointments.
Aaron Lyon: Great staff, had a good vehicle to keep me on the road. Don't use the EZ pass though as they charge a $20 convenience charge plus the cost of tolls.
Clayton Cooler: Terrible customer service I arrived the morning of my reservation to pick up my rental only to be told by a very rude lady that she had cancelled ALL Online reservations my cab driver had already warned me of her reputation for being a rude person. The company should have at least notified the patrons who reservations she cancelled instead of leaving us all with no rental when we showed up I wish I had gotten her name

Cat Mama: The lady at the front desk at the Park Ave Location is very rude I made a online reservation for my husband after paying a 50.00 cab fare to get to hertz she said she canceled all reservations and stated that online reservations are a hassle for her she was late opening up she was in her car when my husband pulled up at that point she drove off came back with coffee and doughnuts then opened up the store late. I had no email warning or anything she didn't apologize for the inconvenience I guess she is well known for being rude the cab driver told my husband she was a C U Next Tuesday and reading some of the other reviews this same C U Next Tuesday of a lady seems to be a bit#$ all the time why is the company keeping her around!!!! I would love a response please by the owner my husband then went to the airport location and Dimitri helped my husband rent a car with no problem this was today Friday December 30 9:00 a.m I have the reservation confirmation number in a email

Rachel George: The lady at the front desk was very unhelpful. I don’t think she knows what she’s doing, made the process a lot more difficult than necessary. She wouldn’t let me use my debit card information to put down as a down payment I don’t understand how that makes any sense. Said it was “policy” sounded like an easy cop out because she didn’t want to deal with the situation. Typing in debit card card information because it wouldn’t scan is the same thing as using the chip. Make it make sense. Same information, same money, same person…but you can’t manually type in my information??

When I arrived, I was told that they didn't have a compact car for me, and if I wanted to get a vehicle, I was going to have to pay more money.After explaining the meaning of the word "reservation" a couple of different ways, the Hertz representative was able to find a vehicle for me.So not a great experience, but at least they were finally able to fulfill their commitment.

Hott Mo Mo: Spent hours on the phone, calling over and over, just to speak to a live person, because of charges that were taken out of my bank account for a rental that I didn’t even have. Once I actually did get to speak with someone, I could barely understand what they were saying to me, as the background noise on their end was unbelievable. Sounds like there’s a bunch of people in one room on the phone, nobody has their own private space. Was completely chaotic. I was then told that instead of being billed for three days that I didn’t have a vehicle, they would knock it down to only one. Why would I be charged at all four days I did not have the vehicle, all they have to do is check the cameras and see that the vehicle was returned. Eventually, I was told I would get a full refund… We’ll see.

Meghan Langley: Wow, booked a rental online and called the local office to confirm their cancellation policy because there was a possibility I might have to cancel. I had a question because my cancellation might be within 24 hours of booking but also within 24 hours of scheduled pickup so I wasn't sure if I would pay a fee or not. She talked to me like I was an idiot and wasn't even close to knowing the company's own stated cancellation policy online. Basically just told me to call someone else and she doesn't know. I just went ahead and cancelled immediately after that experience and reading the reviews here.

I received a damaged car and repeatedly asked for a replacement. She did everything her power to not replace the car even with cars on the lot. Never would return my calls or text and it she did....never would look into the issue. One one account I had to renew the car...she told me I should go somewhere else. When I returned the car..she then for the first time called before the office was even open to tell me there was damage... Glad I saved the text because...the first day I got the car I took pictures of the damage. I resorted to calling the Quincy office to get things fixed which is an hour away. Nicole was rude to me and a guest. I will never rent from Hertz again and I suggest you don't either. I'm working on a complaint and talking to corporate. She once told me ... She doesn't do Uber for hertz after I complained. I responded with are u kidding....you are a registered dealer for Uber... When I turned the car in....she had the nerve to tell me the car was damaged and I needed to take out a report that was preexisting...never again.All set....
Sandro Sterlin: Tried to confirm a rental. Representative was not available when I showed up to pick up. Called and got attitude on the phone. I was trying to be understanding and I even explained what I went through on my end when booking the reservation but the lady on the phone was really dishing out the attitude like I owed her child support or something. I stopped it all and decided that I was going to cancel my reservation and rent from somewhere else which was Enterprise and it was right up the street for less money. Decided to leave review and as I write the review everyone shows up and the place finally opens. So much for opening at 8 and my reservation was for 9:30am

They were kind to offer a few vehicles accommodate our family for the needs of our vacation! The vehicle was very comfortable to travel in and very comfortable all around! Susan Perry: Our grandson was diagnosed with a brain tumor. I flew into Massachusetts in order to take care of my granddaughter while my grandson was in Boston receiving care. My daughter and her husband would be with my grandson in Boston. I picked up my car from Worcester. It appeared dirty. They assured me it was OK, as I didn’t have much time to get to my destination I drove the car. By the time I got an hour and a half to our daughters home in Rehobeth, the car was vibrating severely. When I arrived my daughter and her family were shaving my grandson’s hair in preparation for chemo and radiation. After a couple hours I asked my son in law to see why the car was shaking so badly. He drive the car around the block and said the car was not safe to be driven. It was 8 pm when my son in law told me the car should not be driven. As they were leaving to go to Boston at 8, I decided to call budget at 7 am. I called customer service and was told to call roadside assistance. They said it would be a two way tow! Then roadside assistance sent a tow truck to pick up the vehicle but did not bring me a replacement vehicle, even though I had requested one, and been told one would be coming. Every time I called budget I was told that I had pre-paid for this vehicle and could not get a refund. I have tried to work with them several times. They told me to go to a rental location and ask for a replacement car. I explained I could not because I had no way to drive! They still did not help me and refused to refund my money, charging my credit card $450.00for 2 hours of a car! We have always used Budget…never again! They left me stranded at a time I was already in crisis! This is a company without a heart!

The employee said, you have a driving restriction for night time driving.I said, to the employee my son has his permit, & he is driving. So you knew what you were signing.....And sent this out into the rain with a very rude arrogant behavior! The lady at the front desk yelled at my wife and said that we needed to have the credit card there. My wife asked if there was any other way to prove or anything but the lady just yelled at her. My wife even called my mother-in-law and the law wouldn't talk to her. The lady was really rude and horrible. And now we are on hold to get a refund. These people suck. Never going to use budget ever again. You shouldn't either.

Keila Alvarenga: This is the worse rental company I have had to deal with. We made reservations to pick up a vehicle at MCO (orlando airport) on 3/16/2023. When we arrived they had no cars available. I landed around 12 am and it was 3 am and still no cars available. I had to call my cousin to pick up my family because we were stranded at the airport and was told to come back around 10 am. They have poor management and customer skills. why keep taking reservations for cars you can't supply. They kept giving us the running around saying cars were being cleaned but there were no cars in sight.

They were so patient while we figured out how to pay (I clearly didn't read the directions and didn't realize it had to be an actual credit card, not debit). The van was clean and ran wonderfully. They were also very nice when we checked the van back in making sure everything went well. Will definitely use this location again if needed in the future!

Sean Curran: I find it odd to read some of these reviews. I rented from Ed and his guys up at the Worcester Airport for 9 months straight. Had several different cars during that time, and never once did I have a single issue. Ed and Dimitri were GREAT guys to deal with. And they never once charged me for anything I shouldn't have been charged for. If I could give them 10stars I would. They're the only guys I will ever rent a car from.

I've probably had everyone's help but most recently Jared and Cole helped me with my last rental and it was easy and both were helpful. Esther Darfour: I've tried this place twice and both times I was disappointed. I rented a vehicle here in Dec 2022 through insurance after an accident. And after returning the vehicle the manager was trying desperately to pin some old damages that were previously on the car on me! If it wasn't for a male figure coming afterward to help me get out of those faulty charges I don't know what I would've done! Secondly, 3 weeks ago I booked two vehicles for a business trip happening this weekend. The manager (Ja**d) again removed one of my bookings because he "thought" it was a double booking. Keep in mind they were two different vehicles and two different pick up times. Why didn't I receive a call if there was a question about my bookings? And if it was cancelled why wasn't there a followup via email or phone call? This place is HORRIBLE. That manager should be fired! IF I COULD GIVE MY TRUE RATING THE BAR WOULD BE BELOW HELL.

Jon Monge: Scott and his team have the poorest customer service that I have ever experienced in my lifetime. They lack accountability, respect, and integrity and are the most unprofessional people I have ever dealt with. My insurance carrier recommended that I go through them, and I have regretted every moment and every interaction. First, Scott lied to me when I booked my reservation and said he didn't receive it, and when I showed up at the branch, he showed me his system, and as he was swiping, I saw my confirmation, and he acted like he didn't see it. I called him out on that. The second time was when I was on vacation, and Scott called me and told me that my vehicle was deemed a total loss. I called the Auto Body and my insurance carrier, and they were shocked because my SUV was being repaired, and it wasn't a total loss. Third, when I returned the vehicle two days prior, I was supposed to be issued a refund for the time I didn't use it, and I wasn't given my refund. I had to demand to speak to DM or Regional Manager before escalating this matter further. I dropped my car off this Monday, 7/25, and I am still dealing with this matter. I woke up today to see my credit card double charged. Think twice before going to this location.
Lillian Parke: Scott and Kelly went above and beyond for me my car was total they made the rental process smooth I sincerely appreciate there courtesy an professionalism when assisting during this time 2 months later now they have someone name Fallon as the assistant manager not very customer centric seems to just care about numbers

Nick Blaise: Literally never have any cars available. No one makes an effort to get one. Almost like they are pumped to tell you they can’t work for you today. Not sure why this location is open at this point.

Amber Sands: I recently got into and accident and went to the enterprise in Worcester, MA and was only offered cars that were out of my policy limit. The lady who rented the car to me was unclear about me getting reimbursed for paying out of pocket expenses and said I CHOSE the car that was out of policy limits when that was all that was offered to me !!! She showed no disregard on the phone and I will never ever be taking my business back here. Worst service ever

Jackson Lobo: What a terrible place! My insurance company called the place to make a reservation. I was told by my insurance company to drop off the car at the car body place and pick up the car (Friday before 5). So i called the place to let them know that was dropping the car off. Someone called James answered the call. I couldn’t imagine anyone with worst customer service skills. Tells me that it’s Friday and since no one is going to fix my car over the weekend he cant give me a car and hung up on me. Mind you, my insurance company is willing to pay for the weekend. Now, even though i have a reservation have to wait until Monday. So i called asking if they can check with other enterprise locations and i can pick the car from there. Without even checking, his answer was ‘NO’ they dont have any cars.Worst customer service! I have been a enterprise customer since 2014.
Myrtha Quinones: -I’ve always used Enterprise this time around I was disappointed with the actual price charged; it was not what I expected.-I missed a event due to after smoke/ emergency maintenance lights came the rented vehicle; I call 24hr line which directed me to go in the morning not solving my issues.-The following morning i was switched into a smaller vehicle. There was no reduction in price for the change of vehicle or for the car issues that prevent me attending the event.-I called and there is nothing to be adjusted. 🙁 I will be searching for a another car rent for future needs.Thanks.
